I've been in this guild for over a year so you'd have to go a long way back to find my introduction. I don't even remember what page it's on. Anyway, I'm 21 years old. I live in the province of Ontario. I'm MtF but have not yet begun my transition. I like reading, writing, anime, The Legend of Zelda, singing. I'm sure there's more I could say but I can't really think of it right now. Anyway, this is the introduction thread so we should probably move our conversation over to the chatterbox.

I, however, have not started transitioning and haven't been living as a girl anywhere offline. I want to transition though, and I have promised myself that I will someday, hopefully soon. Ah, hello~ I guess I should introduce myself before I dig too deep into this guild, huh? So....
Name: Keakealani, or you can call me Kea for short. I don't really respond to my real first name online so I won't mention it XD Age: 23... although I actually turn 24 tomorrow, so I guess I should start getting used to that, huh? Sexuality: biromantic demisexual, with some poly leanings - I'm in a mono relationship now but it's something we discuss if we happen upon the right person/situation. Birthday: 01 November 1989 Where Ya From: Originally from Honolulu, HI but currently living in Austin, TX (although I really still identify as living in Hawaii XD) Interests/Hobbies: Music, since I am a singer and composer... also history, linguistics, philosophy, and politics. And when I blend that all together, I love exploring aspects of musicology as well. I'm kind of a budding feminist so I love picking apart various forms of media from a more sociological/historical/politic perspective, too. So yeah... basically if it's classified as a "liberal art" and especially if it has something to do with music... I probably like it. XD
Oh yeah, I'm also a bit of a gamer, although I call myself a "chronic casual" - right now I've been playing a lot of Civ V and Professor Layton games (just beat Last Specter!) and I just got Animal Crossing: New Leaf for my birthday so I've been trying that out, too. I used to play WoW but haven't played since the beginning of Cataclysm (and frankly the height of my playing was during the latter half of WotLK), and I've also played a lot of Sims 3 although not too recently ^^; I'm a longtime Pokémon fan, but I haven't actually beaten any of the recent games and I'm waiting until X/Y comes down in price before I consider buying... Favorite Color(s): Purple! Haha. And pink sometimes... I'm kinda girly like that >.> Anything Else: Umm... can't think of too much else! Please feel free to get to know me! I also have a more detailed profile if for some reason you feel like stalking me >.>
I hope to meet you all very soon smile

XD Plus I actually have Pokémon Platinum and White and haven't beaten either, so I think I need to beat those before I can justify buying a new game >.> And I'm sort of broke right now, so that doesn't help either...

That's a good idea! I play one game at a time and beat it before moving onto the next. Otherwise I'll never finish it! surprised Pokemon Black & White (and B2 & W2) are amazing! biggrin But if you've played some, you already know that. ^^

I'm really bad at sticking with a game if I have another one, but sometimes I flit back and forth especially for the less plot-driven games like Animal Crossing and Civ. But it's good to actually devote the time to beating a game rather than just playing it a little bit, I think. Pokémon White was definitely fun so far but it is so intense! I didn't play a lot of the middle generations - played Red and then Gold/Crystal but then after that I jumped directly to Platinum and there's a LOT that happened in between xD I still have a hard time remembering all the new types and stuff like that >.> So I'll get back to it at some point, although I've been happy running through Professor Layton which is still one of my favorite series ever biggrin

You don't get tired of them as easily. :3 I actually did that with Rune Factory 4, Rayman Legends, and Pokemon X for a couple of weeks. Till I beat Rayman and got bored of RuneFactory. I'm really hoping for a Pokemon Saphire/Ruby/Emerald remake. They were some of the best Pokemon games! I love them all though. :3 I also have a type attack/defense chart with me at all times. xD It really helps. :3

But you can crossdress if you really want to (later in the game).

Yeah, I remember being irritated enough about having to be a guy (although it did let me date girls so I guess you win some, you lose some XD) but every time I play a game with a dating/marriage component that is gender restrictive I get a little bit sad sad Crossdressing is a decent option, though xD Although it still feels a bit odd since I am not trans*. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)

(Not that there's anything wrong with that!)Yeah. I feel the same way. With crossdressing, it takes too long to get to that point. So up until then I have to be a guy... and sure, the guy is cute and feminine, but... I'm an uber girly femme in real life. It just feels wrong playing as a guy. D: I'd rather make do imagining that the bachelors in the game are girls. xD Hahaha. (So that's what I ended up doing.) I'm hoping that more dating games will allow same sex marriages/dating! Japan seems open to the idea, but it's America's influence that is preventing them from doing anything.
