I'm right here, you don't have to refer to me in third person.

Hinote Tosatsu Greg? Whimsical? This does not compute. Sorry, but that's a sign of the apocalypse. Even when Greg is funny, he is not whimsical. That just doesn't happen. Greg being funny is a scary thought to have come to mind upon my brief return to Gaia. I think, should Greg ever be funny, it would break the space time continuum.
THIS WOULD HAPPEN IF GREG MADE A FUNNY!! Note: Go to 2 minutes in.

Greg, we do need to refer to Greg in the third person. Since Greg's too serious to ever do so, we have to make up for all the times Greg doesn't do it mrgreen .

[Example: in my Epic Dose of Shay Got Bored thread.] You didn't use to be as uptight as you tend to be sometimes and I'm not going to lie. It really gets on my and many other peoples' nerves sometimes. I mean, in all honestly, that's the #1 reason I tease/torment you as much as I do. I'm trying to force the lighter, funnier, easier to get along with side of you out.

I'm sad, Laxus seems insanely boring now...
I want to replace him with a Paladin character... Seems like it would be fun to play an extremely lawful good character.

TvIaMsOqTuHeYz I'm sad, Laxus seems insanely boring now... I want to replace him with a Paladin character... Seems like it would be fun to play an extremely lawful good character. ... No. Tim, look at your history here. You've been here for years, about the same length of time as me. We both started on about the same level, but look at us now. The reason you're not getting better, is because you're not settling on one RPC. You keep abandoning a concept before it can come to fruition and really flesh out, and trying again. And so long as you do that, you're never going to improve OR see your ideas come to life. You have to hold to a character until it comes through for you. If he seems boring, alter him a bit. I just gave you the perfect catalyst for a major personality change if that'd help. An RPC is as flexible as you are. You can change at any moment, you just have to work at it. Don't replace him. Improve him, and see what comes out. Also, try and remove the chip from his shoulder. All of your RPCs so far have had that fatal flaw, in that they think they're something special. It can be an interesting angle to play, but you're not skilled enough yet to play it right, and it comes off more as an arrogant weakling than an actual intimidating character. And please don't take any of this the wrong way. I'm not trying to bash on you, I'm just trying to point out where I believe you've gone wrong, and how you can improve yourself.

Lawful stupid. Evil characters are fun, but if you play as an insanely lawful good character, it is equally as fun. Like if you're told to kill someone and given the order that they are evil, anyone who stands between you and your target can be construed as evil, and therefore a necessary loss. It is fun playing Insanely lawful good characters. xD

Lawful stupid. I hate that phrase. LG doesn't shouldn't be synonymous with LS, because it's bullshit, and you almost never hear that phase when you're talking about something other than a Paladin. I don't know why every DM thinks because he or she has come up with an "unwinnable" situation that I fall from my lords graces. The Gods have epic stats, meaning they have at least a, what, sixteen in intelligence at the lowest? They can rationalize that yes, saving the child instead of the old nun, who was going to die in the next couple months-years while the child has at least thirty ahead is the right choice, especially if that nun was a servant of Pelor/garl Glittergold/Tyr, whoever you worship. Only people that lack imagination and intelligence are Lawful Stupid. Unless it's on purpose. TL;DR Lawful Stupid is lame and it should die.

I say LS only because, throughout my D&D experience, every LG character I've allied mine with has ended up being played as LS. Things are only synonymous with one-another because people make it that way. My perception of LG would be different if I had seen someone play an LG character as LG and not LS. I absolutely agree with some of the points you're making, but my personal experience casts a negative light on LG PCs. @Tim: I know, but you have to be careful to play it right, or you end up LS.
