"That's...probably the other half of the reason she's upset." Warp said.
At about that time Alex came walking up from another alley, carrying Rosie in her arms. "Hey, I think she's going to stay with us for at least a little while." Alex said as she approached them.
Rosie wouldn't look at anyone. Simply rested her head on Alex's shoulder and stared out at the street.

Rosie glanced over when she heard her name, but didn't recognise the voice. She looked at the boy a moment, then looked back out at the street. "Should've known better..." she said quietly.
"Rosie." Warp said calmly, waiting for her to look over. "It's alright. We're both fine now. We're the ones who should've know better." he continued when she did look over at him.

Mega Man walked over to look Roie right in the face. In a quiet tone, he said, "Hello, Rosie. I'm Mega Man. Look, none of this is your fault. You didn't need to know better about anything."

Rosie was quiet a moment and looked away. "Mom and her new boyfriend." she said flatly.

A very surprised look overcame Mega Man's face. "Oh," was all he could think of to say. Her mom. Why would a mother attack her daughter's friends?

Warp sighed slightly and moved closer to them. "Say, why don't we find someplace to...um, rest or do something. Depends on how you're feeling." Warp said, trying to change the subject. Normally he'd suggest to go find someplace to eat, but food was the last thing on his mind at the moment.

"So, how about it Rosie? You feel like finding something fun to do, or do you wanna try and get some shut eye?" Warp asked.
Rosie looked up at him a moment, then at the others. "Don't know what would be fun to do..." Rosie replied.
A moment later, the door behind Warp opened and Sapphire walked out to meet the group, now in her costume. "Alright, looks like her leg's in working order again. I'm going to make a quick stop at a jewelers, then find some actual clothes." she said, then paused when she noticed Alex, Rosie, and the boy that had been at the Batcave earlier.
Alex gave her a small smile, obviously having no idea what she had been through. "Well, good to see you again. Looks like you've had a bit of fun as well." she said, noting the various holes in her costume.
"Well, I suppose I'm not the only one who had to sacrifice style." She replied, trying to sound as friendly as she could.
Alex looked down at her baggy outfit and Flash shirt, then back up at Sapphire with a small grinn. "I could go for some actual clothes. Mind if I come with?" she said.
Sapphire smiled beneith her mask. "Not at all. Actually I'd feel better if I had company for a while." she said, then looked down at the other two. "Anyone else want to come shopping?" She knew Warp would be wanting to stay with Roxanne. Anyone who'd seen them together once or twice would know that right off the bat.

Blood Moth carefully made his way down the hallway of the building as quietly as he could. As he got closer to the scent of blood and sound of heartbeats, he paused in the stairwell. There was someone inside...wounded, or at least had been. And there were about four people outside. Well then, now it was hard to tell just who was in his home. He balled his hand into a fist a moment, then opened it, releasing two small white moths into the air. He sent them down through the stairway and let them find who was in his home. If they returned, then it should be alright to venture further. If they didn't, then he'd have to continue with stealth.

Mega Man shook his head. "I'll stay here and keep watch over Shadow. I owe you guys that much for getting lost and not being able to help earlier."

"Alright, will it be a girl's night out then?" Sapphire asked, glancing over at Rosie.
Rosie glanced away a moment. "I shouldn't..." she replied. But...it would be rather awkward if she stayed here. She felt someone nudge her shoulder and glanced back at Alex.
"Come on, it's alright. If Sapphire's going to the jewelers, then trust me, you'll be able to get anything you want. Toys, clothes, ice cream. Maybe even a movie." she said with a smile.
A small smile returned to Rosie's face, but her eyes still said that she was feeling sad. "Icecream?"
"Come on, we'll make a night out of it." Sapphire said, then leapt onto the side of a building. "I'll meet you two over at the closest open jewelers." she said, then dissapeared around the side of the building.
