After a few hours Ben returned to the tavern, his face was still a little sore but Cap didn't hit him hard enough to leave a bruise. Instead, Ben just had a bruised pride. He ate up some of the leftovers from Keira's tray and began feverishly cleaning the tavern.
Ben started by sweeping up all the dust on the floor and wiping down all the counters. He then cleaned up the leftovers, mopped the floors around the bar and did the dishes. Satisfied, he sat down at his table to enjoy a smoke.

((And now I've posted! *huggles*))
*Synge woke up, alone. She felt groggy and weak. Her eye was sore. She sat up and looked around, wondering how she got into Ben's room. She shrugged and all the memories from yesterday felt foggy. She couldn't remember all the details, but she knew Keira's situation was bad...and Hikaru, he was there too. HIkaru was a good thing. Ben was...where was Ben? She looked around and got out of bed quickly, slipped her shoes on and left the room to look for Ben. She wanted to see him badly. She found him in the main area sitting down. She didn't smile or say anything. She just went up to him quickly and hugged him as he sat in the chair. She held him for a long time.*
There you are...

When you come to hug Ben he hugs you back, his embrace was warm and familiar but what you didn't know is that it helped him feel better to feel you too. After he hugged you, he turned your face to his and softly kissed your lips and smiled.
Heya! I missed you.
Synge might notice that Ben's right cheek looked red and slightly swollen.
((As did I.))

((Also, I wasn't sure, but did Ben realize Hikaru was sleeping on the couch? I didn't see you indicate that he noticed, but that is where I left Hikaru sleeping last night.))
*Synge let him kiss her lips, returning the kiss with her own. She still couldn't smile, but she was so happy to see him. She stayed standing as she spoke. Then she noticed his cheek and touched it gently.*
I missed you...so much...Did someone hit you?

(( Ack! I totally missed that. We'll just say that he was too preoccupied with Cap to notice. ))
When Ben noticed you didn't smile after the kiss, he gently turned the corner of your mouth with his finger.
No smile? Well...I guess that's fine. Thank God you are ok though...
With this, he leapt up and held you tightly, even lifting you off the ground slightly. When he sat you down he touched his cheek.
Oh...heh...Cap had to knock some sense into me...
He looked down at the ground and his voice was crestfallen.
He...He told me...what happened...I...shouldn't have slept...so much.

*Synge couldn't help but smile a little as Ben pushed up the corner of her mouth.*
I...just...yesterday was...
*She saw a flash of Keira's bloody room, and the main with white hair from Keira's memory. She felt a cold chill. This was helped by you holding her and lifting her up. She held him tightly in return. She noticed how down you looked as you reported that you knew about yesterday.*
Oh...don't blame yourself...maybe it was better that you didn't have to be involved...Who is Cap?
*The mention of a stranger made her remember Hikaru suddenly. She looked over to the couch but couldn't tell if he was there from where she was standing. She wondered if Ben had met with me or not yet.*
Er...is Hikaru still here? I told him to sleep on the couch...he came back for me yesterday.

Ben simply shook his head and hugged you close to him.
I...I know...
When you were back on your feet, he held you as close as he normally did, adding to the warmth of the situation.
I guess...but since this is my place...I just...huh? Oh...Cap
He laughed lightly and he could feel the hotness of his cheek.
Cap is...alot of things...the bottom line is...Capserian Baran is everything I am not...he is a best friend of mine from many years ago...I chose to be the normal one...he learned magic. I called him here because I knew this place is unsafe...he's the only one that I think could help protect the place. I hope he isn't too much...he is very...errr....abrasive. I can't do much by myself...but he can do alot of things.
Ben pulled your hand and took a seat on a couch across from Hikaru whom he just noticed. Provided you followed, he then pulled you to his lap to hold you while he looked at Hikaru.
Well, I met Hikaru...we didn't get off so well last time because I thought he might be...out to get you, you know...I hope I can help him understand WHY I did it....
He looked up at your eyes.
Is he special to you?

Yeah...he wasn't exactly my favorite...I'm pretty sure he hates me, sorry about that. He did protect this place though, so I'm grateful.
*As Synge was pulled onto your lap she was able to see that Hikaru was indeed still sleeping on the couch. He was deep in sleep, and wouldn't wake up with them there unless made to. She listened to you explain your first meeting with Hikaru. She found it strange that he didn't get along with Hikaru, while she didn't get along with Cap. When you looked up into her eyes she felt a strange nervous sensation, as if she were under some kind of pressure with the question.*
Uh? Oh...not really...well, I don't know. I mean...I was so blind to other people, and my own feelings, until I met you. Now that he has come back into my life at a time where I'm figure out how I feel about people...then yeah, he is a friend of mine, and I just never realized it until now.
*She shrugged, seeing nothing wrong with her and Hikaru being friends.*

Ben shakes his head.
No, I doubt he hates you...he is just a little odd in his mannerisms. Believe me, I would trust him with my life. He's just a little charred around the edges is all!
When you talked about Hikaru, he could tell you were uneasy so he gently smiled at you.
It's fine if he is your friend...it is good to have those. Don't worry about me...it is not up to me to tell you what to do...I want you by me but if your heart ever did go to another...who am I to stop you?
He laughed and then tapped your kneecap lightly with his hand.
You don't get it yet...I feel privileged just to hold you right now and be allowed to kiss you...those are the biggest accomplishments in my life currently...I might get boring quick.

((Oops...forgot to take off Keira's shoes last night!!))
*Keira rises from her slumber and looks about the room she was in. She felt somewhat heavy, but not nearly as bad as yesterday morning. She sat up and looked around. She realized she wasn't in her room, but in Synge's. She felt puzzled about it and din't remmeber how she got there.*
Did I fall asleep on the couch last night? Did Ben take me up here? Did Synge?
*Keira frowns and then makes her way out of the bed. She didn't really remember much of anything that happened last night. The only thing she remembered was that Hikaru pissed her off and a new comer came in. She then decides to see who was in the tavern out of curiosity so she gets out of the bed and goes downstairs, slips onm her shoes and looks around sighing.*

*Keira watches the two lovebird and sighs. She was happy for them really, she just wasn't herself today*
I guess I slept fine.
Her voice was quiet and she looked towards Ben and then back to herself. She examined her scars and walked a little further in the room*

((Ok so since Dave has an issue with me calling you LNS, Imma call you H^2....Oh yeah baby! LMAO! Hi H^2!!! *Huggles* :p))

(( welll, the LNS doesn't work because she is only a 10 months younger and treats you like her friend...I am 6 years older and have...well...earned that right! razz ))
This answer and mannerism didn't settle for Ben but he didn't have even a slight idea of what to say to approach the topic. He finally thought of a humorous note.
Good...I am glad you did...say...why is it that I am always sleeping when you make good food? Hehe...I had some of that part tray...it was good!
