I feel Gaia is really going down the tubes..
A ton of oldbies have been lost over the years, it seems uncommon to find one now a days.

And yet here I am, still alive and kicking. XD;
But, to the point. People wanted a gold sink, now they're complaining about it. Sheesh. I'm just glad I can now look up an OMG or and AFK now.

Pfft, there are plenty of oldbies still around.
Keep in mind how few members there were in 03, especially compared to now. Even if all of them were still actively posting, you'd barely notice, considering how many thousands of other, newer users there are.

Now that I think about it.. the only reason I ever joined Gaia was because I saw my brother had joined, and I idolized him, so of course I had to join too..

I joined because I wanted an avatar.
My friend had hers in her MSN display pic (with the blue bao hair, a Santa hat and emo glasses), and I thought it was adorable, so I checked out Gaia. And, days later, when registration temporarily stopped being glitchy, I joined. 4laugh

come to think of it, I have no idea how or why I ended up joining gaia...most of the time I spent online I was playing those cool text based rpgs...
