Does anyone know why when I go to look at members and put myself in it says Im not a member? Do you have to be a member of a guild so long in order for it to show up?

You show up when I search you. You have almost as many posts as me and I've been on longer! (I know only a few days longer, but still!) Eh, I suppose it's because you're online a ton more than I am!

Ah! Mustang is doing laps across my house again! She's so cute! I love my evil puppy!

I just realized, this is my first time in the great hall! Hello everyone!!!!

It wont show up for me, how odd. Yeah you work. I dont I havent had school all weekend and when the babies in bed what else can I do. Are you coming out tomorrow night for game?
PostPosted: Sun Mar 09, 2008 9:37 pm

I'm thinking about it. It really depends on how work goes. We were sooo incredibly busy with the exception of an hour with ZERO customers! I don't know how that worked out, but I was great full (spell check says one word is wrong and broke it into that!!) I really do want to go so that I can get the feel for the game. I'm a bit sad that we missed yesterday's game. Do you think Mama was disappointed?

...If he says anything... can we just blame the nargles? I bet he would love that!

o0o will Sacher (Spelling) be there? Maybe I'll leave the teddy bear home! (I know that's horrible)

No I explained to him that we had Fred tagging along and I didnt want him to be there. Sacker is always there. I really would like to go tomorrow night to make up for us not going last night. Mike will probably be willing to give you gas money because I know hes coming here tomorrow. Do you think I will get in trouble because I post to much?

I don't think so, becuase it's the great hall! I mean in the common rooms we can stray from HP stuff, so the great hall should be the same, right? But maybe since we're talking just us 2 then we should switch to pm.

Speaking of your Slitherin boyfriend, where is he? It'd be awesome for all of us to be here at once!

>.< Sorry to interrupt your conversations.. but I had this brilliant idea when I was reading Julius Caesar (which actually isn't so brilliant), and I just have to say it somewhere. Bear with me.

So, in Julius Caesar, Brutus kills Caesar (duh). And Brutus believes he is doing it for a good cause because he and many other senators believe that Caesar is trying to be a king, which is totally against the Republic at the time. Brutus has a servant named Lucius (this is where Harry Potter comes in: think Lucius=servant to Brutus and Lucius=servant to Voldemort).

So can it be that Brutus=Voldemort who is actually believing that he is doing something good for the Wizarding world (I highly doubt that though...)?

Just some food for though.

Awesome theory - I think you're right, especially given the tone of Voldemort's words in books six and seven, where we actually hear some more dialogue than just battle scenes.

The commands in the battle of hogwarts are a good example of where I got the feel that he thought he was doing the right thing.

In a way Voldemort did think he was doing the right thing in my opinion. Part of me feels it was also vengeance as well though. Do you think he would have followed that path if he had stayed on at Hogwarts? Id like to know others opinions. Im not sure how I feel on that. I also feel like maybe he thought he was doing the right thing as well because his soul was diminished due to the horcruxes being made if im not mistaken. I think that was an amazing comparison by the way.

*POP*

Voldemort was the wizarding worlds Hitler. He wanted to purge the world of a single race and anyone whom he thought was tainted by this race, because those people were unpure. He was even part Muggle, the very race he wanted to purge, just as it is believed Hitler's father was a Jewish man.

And hey Steffyss, I can't remember if it was this guild or the InuYasha guild I belong to, but when I first joined, I didn't show up in the registry for a while either. I think it may be a glitch in the system or something, because I mentioned it to others and they didn't have that problem.

That is a good thought. Lucius and Brutus I didn't even know they were real, I thought they were a myth.

It says NON MEMBER for me and I have been in for a little while, but when I look up someone else it is regular.

Yeah, see that's what it did to me.... Wow.... yeah, see... weird, old black and white movie talk... said while waving a cigar in the air... hee hee...

But yeah, I agree with the Brutus metaphor, but I also believe Hitler is a more apt comparison, because while Brutus' ideas were planted by another for the purpose of killing only one person, Hitler, like Voldemort, wanted to rid the world of anyone he thought to be unpure, and came to that conclusion through experience and twisted thinking.

Both are good comparisons. It started working for me today with the post count. I made second year today.
