She took a lunge forward and was using more force than needed for right now. Yumi was convinced that she was going to do this training and exceed at it, even though the odds were against her. The sun hopefully would set soon and cause the desert to cool down some and give her body a break from all of the stress she was putting it under. The dummy swayed as she hit it but not in the correct place that Giglamesh had ordered her too. She took a step back and prepared herself more mentally than physically for the next swing.
I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

Using alot of force again Yumi swung for the torso of the dummy. It was a hard enough hit that if she was stronger it would have knocked the dummy off the post it was connected too. The shinai reverberated the force back into her hand and made her arms shake. It shook it so much that the pain that shot up her arm made her drop the shinai. Instinctively she dropped the one in her left hand to take a hold of her arm. She bit her lip hard to keep from letting out a loud whelp from the pain. She looked down at her arm and closed her eyes for a brief moment. When she felt the echo of the pain go away she opened her eyes. Taking her left hand she placed it on her shoulder, then moved her arm around in a circle to get motion back into making sure that it was okay. It was but man that was hard to keep back the pain. She was really into her training and even though she could now be considered injured she was going to keep going. She knelt down and picked up both shinai ready for the next attack on the dummy.
I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

Ame followed her big brother to the designated spot where they were supposed to train... She wondered what he had in store for her... She also wonder if what was in store for her was going to be easy or not... he did tend to spoil her... but she had a feeling things were about to go higher than the general 'next level'. "So... what's the line up?"
Rei grinned wider, "Well, little one... you will be training until dusk... I've noticed that you aren't as strong, fast, or enduring as most young shinobi of the mist at your age and level. So... there are a few things I want you to do... running in place is one... two different types of push ups will be another..., then there's always running laps... and whatever exercise I feel like giving you." He watched her groan and shooed her off to start getting to work.

Grumbling to herself again, Ame finds a nice spot of dirt to stand and begins to run in place... Of course it was easy... just a basic exercise that didn't really do much... It wasn't even tiring... and he said she'd be working hard. Was this a joke? Grumbling again... she sort of figured that this was his way of getting back at her for striking back at him... He was wasting her time...

As she continued on... she watched the sun, not even high in the sky yet. It was actually at that point where everyone hated it; eye level. Squinting to protect her eyes, Ame looked around a bit... Rei was still keeping and eye on her. So she proceeded to dislike him, followed by a sticking out of the tongue... Then she remembered that if she was an enemy instead of his little sister... he would have proceeded with the ripping out of the tongue...

She'd gotten to the point where she was so bored, she was slouching... until she realized she was slouching... and that it was starting to hurt her back. So she straightened up quickly, temporarily blinded herself in the light... flinched and closed her eyes... and continued to run... Yep... life was boring... She wondered if Houka and Zanza were going to show up... it would be nice to have some decent company... then again, they'd be forced to undergo the same boring exercises...

She figured she would pity them while enjoying their company and conversation... That's right... she was willing to let them suffer so she wouldn't have to as much. If it were any other situation, besides her being tormented byher big brother... then she would have decided to suffer alone... but this boringness... and awkward silence... it was getting too much for her.

The seconds ticked by..... the minutes ticked by... the hours ticked by... the days ticked by... wait... hours? Days? Quit being so over dramatic you looser! Dang... Kairite would never have accepted this kind of behavior... Then again, Kairite-sensei would never be the cause of this kind of behavior... unlike him... She twitched her head to glare at her brother once more... She missed her old sensei...

Beads of sweat were starting to form... which was quite unusual... for her anyways. How could a smimple exercise make her sweat? It wasn't even hard work... or was it? Could it be that if you did the simplest exercise for a long time it would become hard work? Rei did say he was going to test her endurance... How long could she put up with this?

Hitomi walked through the badlands... That's what I have to do, isn't it? I said it myself... Fine then, that's what I'll do... Hitomi thought about it for a minute. She pictured the image down to the texture of the kimono... She inhaled and let it out slowly. She brought her hands into the sheep sign, because she preferred it over the tiger... Taller, more elegant... Funny, that's what she was going for...

Hitomi felt her chakra shape around her. And then she lost it. It lost its form and blew away... "Dammit..." it's not too hard to do.. I know it's not... she remembered Roy transforming back in the academy... At least I won't look like that. She laughed and formed the sheep seal again, focusing on the form she wished to take.

Hitomi sat down, trying hard not to lose her temper... relax... You're just thinking too much... Keiko will be fine... The sword will still be there when you find it... Harumi will not be killed before you see her. Everything will end up better than ever. She sighed. I think they were right... I'm not cut out for it... Just look at what I'm trying to do... This is definitely just like a shinobi... Hiding behind illusions....

Hitomi stood and looked at Kon~kou flying above, wishing she oculd do that.. Hitomi focused again and formed the sheep seal. Kon~kou waited to see what she was supposed to be trying to do. Hitomi pictured everything about the form, as if adding meticulous detail to her mental image would make her do the jutsu any better.

Hitomi was surrounded with a cloud of smoke and when it cleared, Kon~kou hopped back, opened her wings, and flared her crest. Apparently, it had worked. Hitomi looked down at her hands. definitely not mine... I'm certainly taller... She looked down at her new kimono. It was black with red rose petals and the right half of the haori was pulled back and hung behind her, showing the sleeveless kimono covering a flat chest. It worked... Let them condescendingly call me a kunoichi now.After all, your goal is that of a shinobi, not a kunoichi. I'll show them all what I can do... I won't let them hold me down anymore.
Hitomi dropped the jutsu and temporarily returned to being a woman.

Hitomi sighed and sat down. I can hardly manage to use the jutsu. How am I going to do it anywhere near how long I'll need to? If I'm going to do this, I'm going to need a new name. I wonder what I want to be called... She let the thought dance through her mind. I probably won't be able to fool anyone with that name... Although I don't need to fool anyone I already know...They all have set opinions on me and are not going to change them just because of some ridiculous henge...

No, I don't have to fool anyone here. Just everybody else.... She sighed. I think that one might work. I'll not have to condition myself to answer to it, anyway. She smiled. She wondered what the longest time she'd have to keep it up would be, or who the hardest person to fool would turn out to be. Who will it hurt most to lie to? She put that thought out of her head. It shouldn't hurt to lie to anyone but her lover. And at the rate she was at, she'd have one in about.... Oh.... never.

She breathed deeply and looked up at the sky. It's a damn shame I'm having to hide like a man... Most of the time it would probably be easier as a woman. And at those times, I'll change back... Right? She shook her head sharply. This was a temporary thing. She wouldn't like it. She was just going to do it until she could prove she wasn't as weak as they said. That was it. Period.
