A single, cleanly cut dent was in the rock. Elruda seemed happy enough with how clean the strike turned out. However, the problem was maintaining the chakra needle at her fingertips...because now, she had lost control over maintaining that again. Elruda lifted her two fingers up and stared at them for a moment. She was wise enough to stop just when the chakra needlepoint was entirely embedded in the rock. The Hyuuga child imagined when actually using Kempo, it would be a similar process - using the chakra needle point to jab at tenketsu nodes.

Wrath stepped in front of Elruda starring down at her. It was easy to guess what was coming. He swung at her two seconds after he walked in front of her. "Your fighting me now." Wrath stated.

One upon a time, Elruda would've stopped and stared, perhaps blink in surprise. But she didn't, instead, as if she had known Wrath's words were coming, the open palm that was meant for the air instead was redirected at her Jounin mentor - and the child was actually attacking with ferocity - the glare of her Byakugan eye fixed upon Wrath. That alone, the fact that she did not hesitate, showed that Elruda had indeed grown and learned to adjust to how Wrath had things done.

Sakeme wasn't surprised when Wrath suddenly appeared again... It was no big deal... she was just glad he came back after she finished. Then, no too much longer later... the kid finished up with her jutsu... Good job, kid... Unfortuneately, though it was expected, she was put to work once more... What made it worse was that Wrath stepped in and stated that he would be fighting bher now. With a slight panic, Sakeme, once again, stepped in. "Wrath... sensei..." She shuddered at the sound of those words combined in her mouth, but how else could she convince him to leave the kid be? "Maybe... I should fight her instead... If she can't hit you... how will she learn her own jutsu... she'll only be trying to dodge your blows..." She kept her face straight as she spoke.. trying to not look at him directly. "I assure you... she will learn her Kempo..." She watched Elruda's eyes uneasily... was the kid truly wanting to go at it with Wrath?

Elruda piped in cheerfully. “I’m fine, Sa-chan! See? Ah...” She had spoken too soon. A gasp followed by a pained grimace as her Byakugan faded - apparently from fatigue after using chakra for quite an extended period than she was used to. After all, the Hyuuga limit was not induced to activate naturally like the Uchiha clan’s Sharingan. More or less, their limit was forced to surface. A frown crossed the child’s face as a hand slowly reached up the side of her face. What...in the world just happened...? Though she felt her increased field of vision disappear...another part of her just wanted to confirm and make sure of it.
Cp: 72/81
It was true alright, her Byakugan had more or less forcibly deactivated. Was she perhaps low on chakra? No... That was not it. Elruda was almost quite sure she had plenty chakra left. Then, her chakra control was off? When she was learning Mizu Bunshin, Elruda had given every ounce of concentration and control into mastering manipulating the clone. And never once did she rest in the intervals between trails. Heh...guess she was feeling the drawbacks now. The child took a deep breath and formed the Tiger handseal to concentrate. The initial pain had subsided by now; she shall gather her control and concentration before reactivating her limit.
Cp: 75/81
She truly hoped Wrath-sensei hadn’t gotten too disappointed with her... It was true Elruda should’ve exercised more control over her limit and stopped it from forcibly deactivating - and she had failed to watch her control! The thought troubled her mind and Elruda’s concentration faltered. But as the strain of her fingers showed, the child was doing everything she can to resurface the Byakugan. This...was harder than she had expected. Now...what did the clan elders say? Ah... Elruda realized with a start. Baka. She chided herself. The child had forgotten the very reason why her clan so emphasized speed, because their eyes consumed even more chakra than the Uchiha clan’s Sharingan.
Cp: 78/81
It was true the strain placed was painful but because their eyes grow better with time and becomes sharper with more practice and use...it was a fair price. But that was why the clan focused on meditation as well, to even out the strain. If Elruda could calm her mind and focus her chakra and concentration, she would be able to call out the Byakugan. It was almost a shame to say she was not familiar with her own doujutsu yet...but wasn’t that to be expected, considering her clan did not rely on “kekkai genkai activation by circumstance”? Thus, it would take time for her to familiarize...perhaps that was the reason why the Genins of her clan had to form so many more handseals to surface their doujutsu...and basically, simply get used to the Byakugan limit being part of her.
Cp: 81/81
Almost now... This was almost as if searching for a hidden power within herself. Oh that’s right...it could be considered something along those lines, as she was molding and summoning chakra from all over her body to her eyes. The child began forming the lengthy array of handseals, yet still keeping her mind focused on that channeling energy. The familiar veins of the Byakugan began creeping around her eyes and as Elruda drew closer to the final seal, she began concentrating all her energy at one point.

Sakeme watched her smile... It seemed forced... but then again, not so... "Are you sure-?" Then it was deactivated. With a tiny smile, she shook her head. "You need to eat something kid... You've used too much chakra on the two jutsu you just learned... You packed a ton of stuff for this trip, I'll assume you have plenty of food?" She slightly tilted her head in Wrath's direction, wondering if he would onject to Elruda replenishing her strength by wasting time eating...

"Take a break to eat something and then meditate. Concentrate on your own chakra network to regain your composition. Afterwards you'll spar with Sakeme, I've gotta take off again. The two of you stay here until I return." Wrath replied as he began to leave again.

Sakeme watched Wrath with a surprised expression on her face. He... actually listened to me... That's... pretty cool... Putting her hands to her sides, she gave him a small bow. "Yes, sir... We will stay here..." She groaned mantally as she spoke... Politeness was getting annoying... but if it helped the kid... she'd do it. It seemed to be the only way she could protect Elruda... Watching him leave, Sakem4e gave another sigh of relief before turning to the Hyuuga agin. "Alright... what exactly did you pack?"

Elruda's shoulders sagged slightly. Was Wrath-sensei disappointed? But she perked up almost immediately, realizing Sakeme was speaking to her. "Ta-chan's homemade sandwiches!" Came the wayward answer. The child trotted to her bag, tossing out things while for searching for the items she wanted. At last, she found them - buried at the bottom of the bag. Thank goodness that Elruda was smart enough to pack the sandwiches in a lunch container, or surely they would've been squashed.

Sakeme inspected the sandwiches carefully. She'd had an incident or two where someone tried to pison her... never got over it to be honest... "These look good, kid... Did you make them yuorself?" Sakeme took a sandwich from the containter and bit into it... it wasn't half bad... Sitting down quietly, she enjoyed herself... "After this... I'll show you how to properly meditate... alright?"

"I dun know how to cook~!" Elruda freely admitted in a cheerful, sing-song voice. "Ta-chan made them." Opening her mouth wide, Elruda bit into her sandwich. Yummy... The kid really did look cute, rosy cheeks ballooned like a hamster and all as she slowly chewed... With her eyes closed momentarily from time to time as she contentedly ate, it was hard to guess if she was even Hyuuga at all.

Sakeme watched the girl cautiously... She wondered silently what she could do to help the kid out... without getting her into more trouble with Wrath... "Um... Elruda... Would it be better for you... if I was... nicer... to Wrath? As much as I'd hate to try anything like that... I'd do it for you..." She shuddered once again at the thought... She knew she'd slip up too... Shaking her head, trying to erase the memory of what she just said, she took another bite of her sandwich.

A smile of pure innocence greeted the older kunoichi. "Sa-chan shall just be Sa-chan." Were Elruda's simple words. "I...don't think it's true." She murmured after a long while. "I don't think Wrath-sensei doesn't care about Sa-chan." But that was all she said before she bit into her sandwich again. "Wrath-sensei is actually pretty nice...my clan elders wouldn't have given me a 'lunch break'..." A nervous laugh. "Or at least not until you either finish the assignment or got broken. Hm..." The child shook her head. "Depressing topics aren't good for lunch." She declared aloud before attacking her sandwich again.

Well... if you say so kid... "Alright." I could try anyways... expreiment a little... see what works... Tilting her head she heard Elruda murmering to herself. "You're wrong about that... And you know... he shouldn't... he has no reason to... and that's how it should be..." Munching down on her sandwich, she listened to the girl speak about her family... They didn't sound very pleasant. Still... it made Sakeme wonder what it would be like if she grew up with her family... Would she be dead now? Or would she be alive like her twin? "I supposed when you put it like that... he can be a little nice... but not a lot..."
