She moved away from her seat and quickly made her way to Leyenda and Kelirahc. Greeting the trio as they came in.

"Good morning," Leyenda smiled back at Lin. "You look a bit peakish. Did the twins keep you up last night?"
She sat down next to Kelirahc and nodded for Lin and Earendil to sit on the other side of her.

"A bit, it was more Miyuki since she has better hearing than I do," Lin admitted.
Though she hoped as she sat down beside Leyenda that she didn't look that tired. She certainly didn't feel overly that tired, but maybe she was excited about today.

Leyenda leaned forward and peered down the table at Miyuki. "She doesn't seem too off," she commented. "But children are hardy creatures, I find, no matter the race. I'm sure she'll bounce back soon enough."
She sat up again and smiled at Lin. "So, are you going to see the twins today?"

Lin nodded, "After breakfast, and... I was wondering if after that if you'd mind Miyuki join Amalirahc and you for lessons. We're planning to go down to the beach in the afternoon, but for the morning... Earendil and I would like some private time. If it isn't too much trouble."
It was sudden but then again who would have thought Earendil could take time off so soon?

Leyenda grinned. "Of course. You took Amalirahc for me yesterday, how could I say no? We were planning on going to the city, I'm sure Miyuki will be excited. And you two haven't had a moment to yourselves yet." She winked at Lin. "Don't you worry about a thing."
Everyone knew the two were courting, but they never had any time to court, what with Earendil working, Lin teaching Miyuki, and Miyuki just hanging around and clinging every time the two were together.

"Thank you," Lin breath a sigh of relief, "It was just a sudden thought since Earendil has the day off today."
And she had only suggested it last night thinking it was the perfect chance.

"No worries," Leyenda grinned. "It's about time I had something useful to do here, too. Other than just being along for the ride. And Earendil deserves some time off."
She eyed her cousin for a moment, then leaned towards Lin and murmured, "I take it this stems from our discussion yesterday?"

Lin looked a bit sheepish, "That and it was taking advantage of a chance. Actually Earendil suggested yesterday he take a day off so we could go to the beach since Miyuki still doesn't know how to swim," she looked at Leyenda, "Though Earendil doesn't really swim and wings are a deadweight, but he mentioned about having the morning to ourselves so I took advantage of that."
Honestly if she hadn't plowed ahead and suggested tea and insist he met her in the courtyard, Lin was pretty sure she would lose her nerve right then and there.

Leyenda grinned at Lin. "Good for you. I hope you have a wonderful time together. You deserve it." She paused. "Are you going to take Miyuki to see the twins as well? We can wait for you down here if that's the case."
She could wait to see the twins, and Amalirahc knew about babies, and she didn't want to overburden Rhea with visitors if she wasn't ready for it yet. She didn't mind waiting. She had Kelirahc and Amalirahc with her too, so it wasn't as if she would be alone or anything.

Lin nodded, "It would be good for Miyuki to see babies younger than several months old."
Garrick and Hana were already well ready to start half a day of school if Elnara and Lore wished and Hope and Faith were already crawling around, standing and would no doubt soon be running.
"I'll get Earendil to send her down afterward, it'll give me time to get what I need together."

"Done and done," Leyenda smiled. "Good. I'll wait for them here, then."
Once they had finished eating, Aurin came over to Lin and Earendil. "If you would like to come," he smiled at them, "I am going to bring her breakfast now."

Lin rose from her seat, going over to get Miyuki, "Come on, we're going to see Rhea now."
"And the babies?" Miyuki perked up at the thought of doing so.
She quickly slid out of her seat to follow her Mummi and Ada.

"Yes, and the babies," Earendil chuckled. He put one hand on Miyuki's head. "But you have to be gentle while we're there. Quiet and careful. Okay?"
He smiled at her. She was very sweet, but energetic and - he had to admit - loud at times. Newborns were fragile, they needed calm.

Miyuki nodded eagerly, "I'll be very very careful... and quiet."
She reached up over her head to grab her ada's hand. Even though it was easy to tell from the way she shifted from one foot to the other that she was still high on energy.
