i started thinking "you could be a daughter of Apollo god of the sun archery,music , medicine and poetry" then i said "you could be daughter of Kratos minor god of victory with all the sports you play he is one of the enforcers for Zeus they say hes kids are really strong, maybe Hermes or you could be a daughter of Hephaestus god of fire and smith"

I shruged."Sounds good."I said."I hope it isn't Kratos though.He sounds like he might have REALLY arrogant children.The show off type.I really hate those."I looked at the water."Worse that those stuck up Aphrodite children."I fingered my necklace again."I just want to know.I don't care who it is."I stared into the water seeing my muliticolored eyes.I looked at my hand and watched as the tiny ice pesasi in my hand melt.
"I just wanna know."I said more quietly.

I wondered slowly onto the beach. It was fairly early but the beach was still pretty crowded. I had slept amazingly and it was my birthday. How awesome was that. I was finally sixteen. "Yes!" I said loudly.

Zoe wandered down to the beach wondering if Rex had gone to the Beach or his cabin. She smiled at the fresh air. The wind was blowing south. It made her think for her FAther, Notus God of the Soulth Wind. She remembered fisrt coming here. She moticed some people but didn't look hard enough to see who they were. She sat down near the shore. She dug her toes into the sand. "It's warm." She muttered quietly outloud.

Rex decided to not go to his cabin. He'd rather just head straight to the beach and hang out with Zoe. As he approached, Rex heard Emma's voice and something about her birthday. This made him think of his own birthday. In the midst of his thoughts, Rex found Zoe sitting in the sand. So, he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "Hey there, I see you're early," Rex said, smiling widely. He continued with, "I just realized something, I almost missed my own birthday. I'll be eighteen in two days... it's pretty weird to think about."

I suddenly stopped. I heard voices, way too familiar voices. NO!!!! I thought very dramatically. "Way to ruin my birthday" I muttered. I heard Rex say something about his birthday. Then my brain started stirring. "Hehehe" I laughed manically. I stood up. I could tell Zoe was starting to like Rex, I was NOT going to let that happen. I walked up to the two of them. The way I was acting kinda made me seem a little drunk. I got up to Rex and wrapped my arms around his neck lovingly. I rubbed his chest a little. "Happy early birthday , cutie" I said putting emphasis on the last word then to complete my performance I kissed his right cheek. I laughed in my head. I prayed Rex would play along.

Zoe smiled when Rex wrapped his arms around her. "Really? So is my brithday. And I'll also be turning 18. Isn't that funny? "She said smiling. She saw Emma comming over. She didn't want her to ruin the moment she was having with Rex. She was astonished when She said what she said and did what she did. A rush of anger overwhelmed Zoe. The wind started to blow harder emphensizing her anger a bit.

I just rolled my eyes. My plan was working. I went on with my routine. The wind didn't even bother me. Again I laughed in my head. "Aren't you going to wish my happy birthday Rexy? After all we are you know, a couple" I again emphasis the last part. Barely keeping in my laughter.

When Emma came over, Rex got slightly irritated. "Happy birthday," he mummbled. Rex gently pushed Emma away. "Emma, we're not a couple. You and I both know we broke up a while ago." Rex was trying really hard to keep his cool, but was really starting to lose it. He was slowly turning his ring back and forth on his finger. Rex turned away from Emma and gently placed his hand around Zoe's. "Emma, just leave us be. Okay?" Together, Rex and Zoe walked about another fifty feet away.

Zoe glared her deathly glar at Emma. "Thats really low. Even for you. Emma. I would think you were an Aphrodite girl if I didn't know who your parent really is. And what would your mom think?" Zoe yelled back playing with the ring on her finger. She was pretty mad. Her blonde hair waving in the wind. The wind was now about 75MPH. She noticed her hand black again. It always did that when she was mad. Most of the time it was when Emma was around.

Rex noticed Zoe's temper was slowly rising. "Hey, calm down. Don't let her get to you at all." Then, he pulled her closer and wrapped his arms around her. "Just try and calm down," Rex lightly whispered to Zoe as he held her. He noticed the wind die down, but he wasn't so sure about it. After a while, Rex took a step back and looked at Zoe. "How do you feel now?" Rex asked gently.

i was about to answer to Demitri when the wind suddenly got crazy then i look at the the demigods and the ice pegasi melting i got up "stay here for a moment" i went to them the wind was hot i concentrated on it and it started to turn cooler "hey whats going on here?" i said a little annoy

Zoe smiled and her anger vanish. Her hands didn't smoke And there was only a gentle brezze. She was starting to like, like Rex. SHe thought he was nice and thoughtful. Not to mention he also had a slight hatred for Emma. And Blake who hadn't been around in a while. "Yeah I am better. Are you okay? " SHe asked. She gently reached over and grabbed his hand holding on to it to hopfully make them both feel better. She looked at the camper who asked what was going on. "Nothing anymore can't you feel the souther wind die down. If you want to blame someone blame me." She said turning back to Rex.

I watched Hunter start to get annoyed."Stay here for a moment."He said as some hot wind picked up.He walked over to some other demigods.The wind started to cool.
He said something to them.
I sighed and threw my head backwards to look at the sky.

Rex smiled as Zoe said she was feeling better. Then his smile faded as he heard the annoyed tone of a new camper approach them. He turned to face him, still holding onto Zoe's hand. "Get lost kid. There's no problem here, but I would be more than happy to start one." Rex was begining to get really annoyed. His body was tensing, ready to fight.
