[Shatteredfang stretched, standing up. She stifled a yawn and sat down, sighing. "This sucks," she meowed. "I mean, you being kept in here," she added. She knew perfectly why he was prisoner though. She shuddered slightly, turning to Darkshadow. "If you ever want to stay here, which I hope you do, you'll have to show to the others that you can be trusted," she murmured, twitching her tail. "And hopefully, Lavenderrain will let you stay in the Clans," she added in a voice no louder than a whisper. But the doubt that she felt was unsettling.

DARkSHADOW "I'm not afraid." [Darkshadow curled up next to Shatteredfang.] "I'll do it.. Just for you.. If it means I could stay." [ He thought of the old times when he was evil. It made him shiver.]

[Shatteredfang purred, laying down on her belly. She kept an eye on the entrance of the den, but her gaze flickered back to Darkshadow. "Thanks." she murmured. "That means alot." The tabby she-cat rested her muzzle on her paws, her fur against Darkshadow.

 Lavenderrain Lavenderrain drew a paw over one ear, then dipped her head to Eaglesoar and Leopardstorm. She slipped out of the nursery, running through her warriors in her head. She quickly padded to Foxfur, her purple eyes shining. "Alright. I'd like to take Shatteredfang, Cinderwing, Willowheart, Eaglesoar, Watercloud, Nightpaw, and yourself to the Gathering tonight," Lavenderrain meowed, then dipped her head to Foxfur and quickly padded to Tigerfang. "Tigerfang, please stand guard by Darkshadow's den tonight, while the others are gone at the Gathering. Thank you," Lavenderrain meowed.

DARKSHADOW "I'm not afraid." [Darkshadow heard Lavenderrain calling Shatteredfang to come to the gathering.] "I think you have a gathering to attend." [He chuckled a little.] "Stay safe. And when you get back tell me what happened." [ Darkshadow licked Shatteredfangs cheek.] "I love you."

 [Tigerfang looked up stoically at Lavenderrain, her eye still bleeding slightly.]
"Yes, ma'am." she said roughly in her deep tone of voice.
[She quickly padded over to the abandoned elders' den where Darkshadow was held. When she saw him, she gave a look of disgust. She ignored him, however, and licked one of her abnormally large paws.]
He is your inferior...
Oh great. The voice came back.
[She decided to lay down some ground rules while she was on watch, so she turned to him, her eye starting to bleed more profusely as her blood started to pump angrily.]
"Oi, Darkshadow. You listen and you listen well. I make the rules around here as far as you're concerned, and while I'm on this watch you are to answer only to me until Lavenderrain and Foxfur get back. You will not speak unless spoken to, and if I hear a peep from you, I will slash your ears off, do you understand? Also, to state the obvious, escape is out of the question. Do I make myself clear?"
I couldn't have said it better myself...
[Again, Tigerfang ignored the voice, and kept her fiery, light green gaze on the prisoner.]

DARKSHADOW "I'm not afraid." [Darkshadow dipped his head in respect.] "Alright than." [He sat down and looked around the den.] "I wonder why they abandoned this den?"[He thought. He looked over at Tigerfang. Her eye was bleeding.] "I'm sorry to bother you.. But is your eye okay? I'm going to guess you fought very well during battle."

[She hissed at him angrily, hiding her eye that was now dripping with blood. She licked one of her massive paws and swiped it over her eye.]
"What did I just get finished tell you, you mousebrain?!" she growled furiously.
[She sighed exasperatedly and put her paw on the ground, curling her tail around the both of them to hide their size.]
Stupid paws...they're the size of boulder! she thought distractedly.
[She shook her pelt lightly and looked over at Darkshadow.]
"It's nothing. It's just a flesh wound..." she mumbled quietly.

[Tigerfang looked away, feeling like a stone weighed her heart down. Something was missing. But what was it? She knew perfectly well what it was, but hated to admit it.]
Eaglesoar...
[She tried to push the thought away, but it kept coming back like a bad cold. She had to admit it. She missed him. And there wasn't a thing she could do about it.]

[ooc:] Let's say that Hauntedheart treated his wounds from the falcon he caught.
Cinderwing perked his ears, hearing his name. he padded out of the medicine cat den, then padded over to Shatteredfang. He sat down next to her, a puzzled look crossing his face. "Why is Lavenderrain seeming so reliant on orders ffor Foxfur?" he asked curiously.
Shatteredfang let out a snort. "Because the oh so honerable Foxfur, you see, is our new deputy." she meowed only loud enough for Cinderwing to hear, fake honor covering the hatred in her voice.
Cinderwing felt happiness shroud over him. Foxfur was a very good choice for deputy. "That's wonderful news!" he exclaimed.
"How did you not know that?" Shatteredfang asked.
Cinderwing shrugged. "I spent most of the time I could have spent hunting wacking a snake head around, trying to find a badger den to put it in," he muttered. "Foxfur must have gotten back right before the meeting." A snort told him otherwise.
"No, actually, he came back after he was named deputy," she half growled, her voice still low.
Cinderwing blinked, looking down at his paws. He didn't bother say anymore.

[Hauntedheart curled up in her nest once Cinderwing left. Her crystal gaze drifted over toward Shatteredfang and Darkfang. The medicine cat could tell that they both liked each other, it was veyr clear to her. After all, she had had a mate before. Hauntedheart sighed and rested her head on her paws. As she stared at the two, she couldn't help but feel a longing for a mate. She knew it was wrong, medicine cat weren't even allowed to have mates. And just look what happened to Foxclaw, her past mate! Why did she feel this way when she knew it was wrong? Although, even if she felt this way no tom would ever want to mate with a medicine cat. She'd never find a mate again, ever.]
[Hauntedheart glanced up as Lavenderrain headed for the gathering. She wasn't sure if the new leader wanted her to go, although medicine cats normally went. Speaking of medicine cats, where was her apprentice? If he thought he run off whenever he wanted, he was sadly wrong. When Honeypaw came back, he would be punished and not lightly. Hauntedheart then thought back to the gathering and stood up. She padded out of her den to join Lavenderrain and Foxclaw. If the leader didn't want her coming, she could tell her.]
