Ares snorted lightly, waving one hand in the air to brush her comments off. "Eh, whatever." Grinning slightly, he added, "'Bit to late for that, pepromene mou*." It was... it was a very big term for him. He would normally use things that were not so drastic, but it had been such a long time since any feelings had truly been stirred in him in the way that Evermore managed... he found it might fit.

Musica was surprised at such a simple question. He thought he'd already answered that question for her, but perhaps she wanted more of a reason. That was his reason truth be told. "It is like I say, I was scared I might cause you harm. I was in such a state I could have easily been very dangerous to anyone there. Anyone." He was very careful to emphasize that word to maybe help get his point across.

Akira would of caught up with Evermore by now, but had ended up bickering loudly with three nasty Bai Ching girls, A.K.A bitches, that just hated Akira beyond belief for one stupid reason or another, especially her being a half Demon, obviously.

Once the Dog Hanyou had decided that she'd had enough, she replied a snappy, smart comment before walking off, feeling the dagger of stares pierce her back, making her shiver slightly in discomfort.

Soon enough, she reached the hallway and saw Evermore just up ahead, talking too...

With a frustrated sigh, she walked over and pointed lazily at the War God, as she smiled at her best friend.

"Hey Ever and hi...War God that's still here because...Pepper?"

Honestly, she wanted to get to the bottom of this, this situation where and why Ares wasn't anywhere but here!!!

That wasn't the answer Ari wanted, but maybe she needed to ask another question instead for that to make more sense. "N-no, what I mean... I meant... um..." Nikolaus. "...Nikolaus!" she blurted, and then clapped her hand over her mouth, her eyes wide with surprise at what she'd said. Ari remembered how put off he'd been the other night when that name came up, and she wondered how he'd react now. Would he be mad at her? Either way, she knew that was important somehow.

Pepper? Where the hell did that come fro--oh, wait. Maybe it did sound kinda like pepper. Eh... Oh well. Frowning, he waved a hand and glanced at Akira. "Nothing about pepper. I didn't say anything about pepper." He shrugged at Evermore. "I'm fine, Evermore. Cross my heart. Just... disregard it, 'kay?"

"Riiiiiight," Ophiuchus replied smoothly as Lin yelped. "You're fine." He was a bit less gentle, pressing down her back right there in the center, where he had been when she yelped. He could feel how tight and strained her back was underneath his hands.

"May need a repeat lesson."

Lin was used to Ophiuchus's more aggressive personality when it came to pushing ones self in learning. However, she had never experienced his assertiveness in this way. It was... different, and not in a bad or good way.

Lin groaned and flopped her forehead down on top of her book. She murmured in a strained voice, "If I can actually survive this lesson first, correct, Professor?"

...Now she was holding his hand!? Had Akira missed something very important??

"Right, not about pepper...And ya, sorry, got into an argument with the 3 bitches, like usual, and err...Wanna explain THAT please?" the girl replied in a curious, but a little annoyed tone, gesturing to their hands. She was somewhat glaring at Evermore for not telling her what exactly was going on sooner.
