well i just bought it and it calls for a 32 MB graphics card but i have no clue where to find out if i have it or not. I don't want to open the box till I find out for sure sweatdrop

What would be a good idea is to check what type of graphics card you have then call them and ask because a lot of my friends have the requirements. But they d ont have a compatible Graphics card.

a friend just told me I should be able to run it if not i will go out tomorrow and buy a new graphics card but i should be able to....now how do you get on a particular server. A friends wants me on his server but doesn't know how to do it.

Well just incase you want to double check because so far from what ive learned unless youve specialy asked for a Graphics card when your pc's was built ( if you bought a pre built model ) the Ghrapics cards are not compatible.
Also ive seemed to notice that the people who have to boy the graphics card have to waste from 50-110 dollars for a graphics card good enough.
I dont mean to lecture but you are somone i have just met so i do not know your understanding or knowledge. Just giving a few facts
To get inot a specific server is simple your friend will have to buy a world pass. It will cost him some gill, (currency used inside the game) to go to a vendor to buy one.
Of the top of my head i can only recal the vendor who is in Bastok... He is Port Bastok and is a vendor in the open tent closest to the Airship. It will ask him if he wants to check the status of his world pass he would say yes pay a random fee of gil (( usually 100-2000 depending on server and other things)). Once that happens he will receive a number. The number given to him, must be given to you including with the correct spelling of the server he is in.
Once that is accomplished and you have already installed and updated the game you click create a new charachter (( this should be the first Charachter you make unless you want charachters on different servers))
YOu will pick a sex race and beggeing job. When it ask you to create a name under it or after this is a question that ask you about a world pass or server joining. There you put in the Correct spelling of the server you want to join. Once youve completed everything on that page they ask for id. and then your done
I preety mutch said it all but knowing me i said it confusingly.. If theres parts you dont understand please ask for them specifically >.>

actually that makes a lot of sense...surprisingly so I will tell him and such....I don't mind getting a better graphics card probably time I updated anyways. sweatdrop thank you so much sweetie

Not a problem, I can never really help mutch with WoG. Since all my skills don't seem to help mutch but i have no qualms with helping the people of WoG ^-^. The people somtimes are more important than the project sometimes.

Actually this will be my first on. it interested me but I didn't know of anyone else who was doing it till I listened in on a conversation here yesterday :shrug: so here I am with no one to talk to on any IM right now and new game that I don't quite get but I want to play.

...damn, now I'm getting urges to buy FFXI, despite the fact that MMORPGs annoy me because they involve interacting with people you don't know. It'd probably be worth getting the game if I knew some people on it to do stuff with, but I don't have the money for it either, so...

You can get into any server you want..without a worldpass.
