Lin was not sure at all how to handle being on his bed. She wanted to stand back up, but one look into Dymetri's eyes, remembering the pain he had gone through made her stay on the bed. She really did want to be here for him.
One of the things he said, though, completely caught her off guard. He seemed to do that quite a bit.
It was true. She didn't accept him fully. She hadn't accepted the vampire half of him. And honestly, she wasn't sure she'd ever be able to.
"Dymetri, honestly, I am not certain that I will ever be able to accept the vampire part of you. However, your personality, your kindness, that's what pulls me in. It's who you are, not WHAT you are, that makes me want to be near you."
There. She had said it. She had been completely honest and open with her feelings, and she had said it to her professor... and she didn't regret it one bit!

He raised a brow. "My personality is why many nymphs despise me. And.. I have no kindness," he whispered hoarsely, refusing to make eye contact with her now. He didn't believe her words. He couldn't, he wasn't able to. That was the only thing he still needed to learn. He needed to realize that someone was able to be attached to the weak human inside and not the controlling vampire.

((Oh yes, especially Arzol. His earring should be in the other ear, not the left...))
Ambrose and Lia, on their way to their next class, came across Arzol and the others near the front doors, and stopped in their tracks. "Lia, go get Ophi ((God help me if I can remember how to spell the rest of his name...)). Now." Ambrose said in a whisper, and Lia was running in the opposite direction. Headmaster, she thought. Wher ethe hell was she supposed to find the headmaster. So, she did the next best thing. She sent out a messenger charm.
A butterfly appeared in her palm as she ran, and she spoke into it, where it recorded the massage. "Ophi, there's a problem at the front doors. Help!" She threw the butterfly into the air, and it took off down the halls, flying out of sight.
Ambrose, meanwhile, sent up a barrier charm between Arzol and the girl. She dropped back down to the ground, and Ambrose gripped her by the waist to keep her from falling. He then positioned himself in front of her, glaring at the trio who were scowling at him. "What the hell is your problem?" He demanded, keeping the barrier up.
"Do you have any business here? If not, get out, whoever you are." He said, not recognizing them as demons, only as black magic users. Neither did he recognize Arzol, since it had been dark the night the demon had attacked his sister. "Oh, but we do have business here. We're new students, merely looking for the Headmaster." Arzol said in a dangerously low growl. He was annoyed that he'd had his enjoyment of torturing the girl brought to an abrupt hault, and was now in an even worse mood than he'd been in before. And he'd been pretty pissed off before.

"Yeah I feel them as well. Looks like your brother is with them as well." He Grunted as he fused with Danni's shadow. "Ok if we run into them They won't be able to see or sense me." He chuckled, but never switched his attention from the demons.

Immature Excuse He raised a brow. "I do not put much stock into why nymphs behave certain ways or why they might feel the way they do, and neither should you. They are fickle. And I know you are filled with kindness. Only someone who is kind could have ignored the cruel things I said the first day we met and give me another chance."

((It's Ophiuchus... but his title is Professor Akakios. But no one pays attention to that. Except Lin.))
Ophiuchus had been sorting through lesson plans (he was quickly learning to hate them....) when the messenger butterfly reached him. He happily shoved the plans to the floor and rapidly teleported to the main doors of the school. Oh, FINALLY something interesting to do! "What seems to be the problem?" he asked the students there.

Dymetri looked up at her with younger eyes. He felt so vulnerable, so innocent at that moment. He pulled her next to him, lying with him. Not because he wanted to do anything with her, but because he needed someone with him. He felt the medication working, the wounds on his body disappearing. He laid her on her back and he rested his head on her stomach. The way his body bent didn't bother him in the slightest, but the warm comfort of her body was all he needed. It felt nice, and he wondered if he was intruding in her personal space. Dymetri decided to wait and see if she'd speak up. If he could die, he'd probably use her body as a coffin. [[Weird compliment, but at least it's thoughtful.]]

"Yeah, right...Who the hell could be causing that kind of disturbance?" She wondered aloud, and making a split second decision, turned on her heel and started towards the main doors. As she walked briskly down the hall, she saw one of Lia's messenger butterflies, and knew something was wrong. "You said Ambrose was with them...s**t." She said in a mutter, and her eyes narrowed as she approached the main doors. Ambrose's back blocked her view of those in front of him, but she saw the girl cowering behind him, and smelled the scent of the Underworld.
"Oh no..." She gestured to the girl, who gratefully ran over to her, scared to death. "Go on now, get out of here. Go into the kitchens, tell Cook Danni said to give you some of his special tea. Go on," She urged, and the girl nodded before dashing off down the hall, towards the kitchens.
"Ambrose," She said, and her brother turned his head, his eyes widening when he spotted Danni. "Danni, you don't need to be here. Just a few jerks playing around with a first year." He said, but she shook her head. Now that she was close, she could feel the demon aura, and knew, though she still couldn't see them, that this was a group of minions. Just great...
"Well, they're dark magic, bro, and I need a healthy way to vent my anger. Lia looked pretty uset back down the hall. You should go take care of her before she freaks out." She lied easily, and Ambrose hesitated only a second, looking at Danni, then the three men, before shrugging and walking away, after where Lia supposedly was.
"Well, look who's here, boys. Shadow Runner's decided to come out and play." Arzol said, and Danni forced herself to laugh, crossing her arms and cocking her head to the side as she stared him down. "Well, if it isn't Arzol and his little gay trio. Let's see, you're...Gambit and Dunstall, if I remember. I've used the two of you before. Aren't those earrings of yours in the wrong ear. Left means straight, fellas." She said, and Arzol's eyes sparked, but he kept his superior scowl in place.
"Well, since you're here, Shadow Runner, you might as well tell us where the Headmaster's office is." He said, and was pleased to see the shock in her eyes. "Why?" She demanded, and he and the others grinned. "Why, we're three new students, looking to learn here at this wonderful school." Gambit said, and Danni narrowed her eyes, her back ramrod straight. "Seroiusly, what're you doing here?" She demanded, and Arzol chuckled, tossing his hair out of his eyes.
"Gambit speaks the truth, Shadow Runner. We've come to learn about new ways to use our...unique powers, and the dark lord has granted us permission to reside in the human world for our studies. Aren't you just so happy to see us?" He asked, and she said blandly, "Overjoyed." All the while, she was thinking about how this conversation would end, and what the hell she was going to do now. This, she thought, was so not good...

At Ophi's arrival, Danni glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, never taking her eyes off the three demons. "Why, hey there, Ophi. You remember these guys, right? Arzol, Gambit, Dunstall. Seems they're...new students. Interesting, isn't it?" She asked, raising a brow as her hands made strange symbols beneath the cloak she wore. If they tried anything, she'd be prepared. No string of fate spell was going to stop her this time, never again.

"Wow! New students?" Ophiuchus feigned a delighted voice. "And dark magic users too? Wonderful, wonderful! I remember you boys!" His eyes narrowed. "I trust you won't make my job more difficult than it needs to be - I can't be reviving students left and right you know... I don't want to have to visit Hades again. Last time he threw a book at my head." True story, that one.

"Oh, we wouldn't dream of it, Sir." Arzol said respectfully, though he seethed at the man's casual reference to the dark lord. "If you please, we need our schedules. We gave notice of our arrival yesterday, and were told they'd be ready by today so we could begin immediately." He said, while Danni glared daggers at him and the others. "I believe we've got the same schedule as little Shadow Runner here. Or that's how it was to be arranged. Isn't that right, Headmaster?" He asked as Danni's eyes narrowed, and she was sorely tempted to crush some heads under the heel of her combat boots.

Night projected his voice into Danni's head. "don't worry Danni If they try something We can kill them easy." He thought for a moment then spoke again. "And considering He will be to busy Checking out the guys in this school He probably won't have time for you." He gave a low chuckle then grew silent again.

Danni laughed aloud at Night's comments, forcing Arzol to frown and stare at her. "Something funny, Shadow Runner?" He said in a growl, but she just smiled at him, confusing him further. "No, nothing at all." She assured him, leaving him frustrated and confused. 'God, Night, you sure know how to cheer me up. We'll have to keep a close eye on them, though, make sure they don't send me to an early grave while my back's turned.' She thought, noting how Gambit was shuffling his feet, obviously impatient, and Dunstall was fingering his pentagram reverently. A bunch of whacko demons, she thought, who'd love nothing better than seeing her looking at them out of sightless eyes. And wasn't that a pleasant thought, she mused, rolling her eyes.
