She thought back to Prince Diamond and Sapphire, how wise man had decieved them, then she thought to the same scenario with Catsy and her sisters- only those four had gotten off easier than the first two, she then spoke, "Because their promised false hope."

She looked at the destroyed city as well, letting his words circle in her head, it gave her optimisim as well as she watched the fire burn what was left.

Raye blushed slightly when Abel held her hand. She looked away but kept her hand where it was, she then felt a need to say something, "Fire is such a difficult element to understand. On one hand it helps you live, the other it destroys. Much like water," She said.

(("Even Jack" Oh god! rofl Now I won't be able to get to sleep 'cause I'll be laughing so much! xd ))
Jack walked up to the group, a socket wrench in one hand with some oil stains here and there. "Ok, so I've got five tanks and ten jeeps up and running. The rest I'll need a blow torch to fix, and I couldn't find any of those," he said. He was glad that he could be usefull, but still felt a little akward helping out so many good guys.
