If my character had "eyeballs" I might feel threatened.
Haha wow that was weird.

God Binatica, there you go again. I won't even bother saying what's wrong with your post. Anyway,
I'll resume the fight when I get a judgement on whether or not him standing feet away from a million-degree ball of energy kills him or not just cause he's somehow making a lot of 'wind' with his hands. Honestly I'd also like a judgement on whether or not him moving his hands at that speed and somehow it creating wind that compresses the blast into a soccer-ball shape in front of him is even valid. When Clash judges, I'll resume. I'm not going to continue in a fight when I think the guy is more bogus than me.

I'm just bogus in the physical sense.
That means the more powerful you get magically.. the more powerful I will be physically.
See, all this could've been avoided if the swords on your back weren't just for show.

I found it! Here it is! I don't care what anyone else says to this, I just find this to be a perfect time to use it. whee Why Can't We Be Friends? I know this already, but it's rather stupid. They should go back to the Old School ways, where whatever happened, happened. And the other opponent just had to create something to back their BS up.
Remember those days? Where a person claims to be a God, and gets their a** whipped by someone who wasn't a God? Just because they created far more variants of manuvers and tactics that disrupted whatever skill the so called, "God," had? ~:Shrugs some:~
All they're doing right now is going, "I'm better than you!" "No, I am! I can prove it." "Nu-uh, you can't prove it. I have the basis of Science behind me! Muahahahaha!" "So? I have the basis of Magic behind mine, Muahahahah!"
"So? My Science is proven!" (Hmm, what happened to the Fantasy there?) "My Magic doesn't have to be proven to exist." (Okay, Fantasy there, kind of goes with a lot of other things that are in Real life too.)
My belief though is that Magic is slightly a step ahead of Science, and once Science finds the little detail to make it known that it can be done, it's not Magic anymore. Thus, Magic really doesn't need any explaination, but if you're going to use Science, you have to be able to explain every nook and cranny of the whole situation. With Magic, as Gel said, it can just happen.
With Science, however, there are some limits to what it really can accustom itself to. Though, Science is used to prove just about anything we say and do.
My thing is: What ever happened to the Fantasy Roleplay aspect of things? People used to have fun creating new things for people to play around with just to have fun, but suddenly Roleplay has to become some serious organization that not everyone can be in.
I could literally go on, and on, and on about this, but I shall not, because if either of them were fighting me. I'd have no form of argument what so ever, and it'll just be the character's skill that proves the victor, not the Player's mind of using any form of manipulation, speculations, and assumptions that one thing is better than another. >.> Bah...
EDIT: ~:Bolds the important part:~ whee

I second the bloody motion.
Goddamn, Commerce finally got started up. I'm totally ready for some action. But wow, I'm missing all the fierce matches. We should totally get someone reporting the highlights of the really intense matches. Like a little re-cap spot. Kinda' like Sportsnet.... Only for nerds?
I just don't wanna' have t'do it.

Vahn Kyonuske Nobody moves on to the next round, problem solved. He does have a valid point...as upon examination, it looks as if neither would really survive, even if each character had it their way (obviously not a possibility) Hatter because he viewed a nuclear explosion at such a close range, and Crawleymang for ringout/whatever.

Toastbusters Kinda' like Sportsnet.... Only for nerds? exclaim Right you are Toast!
As we have seen earlier today, "bitching" which was predicted to be the biggest winner overall of this years tournament did not skip out on the commerce branch, as we already have a large-scale dispute going on.
Aside from this, many of the matches are still waiting to be initiated. Expect updates as they arrive, back to you Toast. exclaim

back to you Toast. exclaim Thank you, Ian. Now I'm wondering, you bring up Bitching, who does seem to be a star player this year, but I'm also looking at a new up-and-comer called Ertai, who seems to be attracting a lot of attention. His cocky attitude, overall confidence, and sense to apply in each branch has really made him popular. In fact, it appears his estranged demeanor has actually sparked the creation of the "Ertai's A Homo Club", which I believe was just recently locked up. More on this when things start to heat up. Ian?

I must agree with Toast on this one, that Ertai sure has attracted a good deal of attention, both positive and negative.
However, many other characters are going without recognition, and aside from the obviously impressive characters of most other branches, the commerce branch seems to be blending both comedy AND strength.
I'll see if I can get an interview with one of them for you after a match has finished. Speaking of interviews, we here at RP-Center* will be bringing them too you after each match has finished, assuming the winner has infact survived, and isn't on a murderous rampage.
Back to you Toast.
*Disclaimer, RP-Center is TOTALLY not just taking the "Sports" out of "Sportscenter" and adding in what is occuring at the tournament. That would be unoriginal, which is quite a taboo in RP...and we totally don't do that.
