Sora ate a sandwich and watched some of the others eating. He heard Hotstreaks comment. He smiled slightly. He enjoyed the company of this group.

Hitomi laughed loudly as she continued to cook, using her powers to grab two bowls before she served them both some of the gumbo. She then grabbed a fork and a spoon for the two of them before she smiled down at him sweetly. "Want anything to drink with that babe?" She asked with another giggle.

"Umm," Hitomi began as she wiped off her hands on her apron, making her way over to the fridge before opening it and peering inside. "We got milk, water, juice, soda, beer, whatever you want really..." She told him as she glanced back with a smirk.
((Sorry, my internet just crapped out on me. lol. xp ))

"Beer," Hotstreak immediately decided on. He didn't even care if it was the girly, fruity kind at this point.

"Okay." Hitomi said as she grabbed a beer bottle for Hotstreak and then a can of some soda for herself. She then placed it on the table in front of him before she sat down in the seat across the small table from him. "Cheers!" She told him as she opened up the soda and then drank from it before she began to indulge herself on her homemade meal, smiling the entire time.

"Cheers," Hotstreak replied, before popping the cap off and taking a swig. He set the bottle down soon enough, though, and eagerly took in a mouthful of Hitomi's gumbo. "Oh yeah, way better than anything I've had in years!" he declared, before promptly chowing down on more. If there was one thing that had a chance at convincing him to drop the convict act, it would be the promise of more meals like this one.

Hitomi couldn't help but laugh at his actions; they were just too adorable in her opinion. She continued to eat her gumbo happily, glad that she had finally mastered making the stuff before she came to Quasar. She wasn't really the best cook in the world most of the time, but she was glad that this one time, she was able to get it all right. "Heh, I'm glad you like it babe." She told him as she continued to eat her gumbo with chopsticks, merely out of habit, since she was born and raised in Japan.

"Mm-hm, to'ally," Hotstreak replied, speaking with food in his mouth. Maybe he'd try and cook something for Hitomi, sometime, to say thanks. His version of cooking was generally just to heat up the food enough to kill any germs that may be living on it or to get rid of any bad taste whatever he grabbed might carry, but there had been times he'd had access to proper food and cooking utensils. In his opinion, he wasn't half bad, but no one else had ever eaten his cooking before. Well, there was the time he heated up a hunk of meat Kirara had supplied, but she had been the one to add the flavoring; he had just been too impatient to wait for someone else to hold it over a fire.

After Hitomi finished off the meat and veggies of the dish, she placed her chopsticks to the side, down on the table before she reached forward and grabbed the bowl before her, drinking the broth quickly. Once finished, she placed her chopsticks on top of it and brought it over to the sink and began to wash it out as well as the pots and other utensils that she had used for the meal. "When you're done, just hand me the bowl, and I'll wash it." She told Hotstreak as she flashed him a cute smile, before getting back to her work.

It wasn't much longer before Hotstreak had finished his meal, and drank the last of his beer before grabbing the bowl and standing up. "Here ya go," he said, handing over what needed to be washed. "Oh, and thanks." He just realized he hadn't said that yet, so he figured he better.

((Ugh, time for bed already? Yup. 'Kay, night! ^^))
"Thank you." Hitomi exclaimed with a cute grin as she continued to hum to herself as she worked, drying off her hands on her apron every so often before she worked on a new dish. But once she was all done, she took off the apron and folded it, placing it neatly on the counter before giggling up at Hotstreak once more. "And you're welcome babe," She began as she gave him a quick peck to the cheek. "I'm always happy to cook for you or the like..."

"So... Whaddaya wanna do now?" Hotstreak asked. They had food, neither of them really seemed tired... Although, thinking about the injuries Hitomi had gotten, it would probably be a good idea for her to go take a rest... Man, why didn't he even think of that earlier? She probably shouldn't have been up and cooking like that...

Motoko couldn't help but blush, it was such a personal question to ask. She then quickly gulped before she grinned, her blush disappearing quickly. "Well Vyse, if it'd make you happy, then yeah." She told him with a chuckle as she then quickly reached up and kissed him for a moment before pulling back.
"Umm, IDK." Hitomi said, using 'text speak' just 'cause she mainly just felt like it. She giggled at this way of speaking before glancing up at him once more. "Maybe we could just chill out on the deck, get all the rest and relaxation 'til the big battle ahead?" She suggested.
