Zephyrkitty TtheHero Owwin You also have to look at it from your family's point of view. They are concerned about your immortal soul and they may do it as a bonding experience (I don't know I ahve never met your family.) Just be glad you have them, and suffer through these little indignities. They just love you T. You'll miss them some day when you are off living your life. I know. I know they mean well (to an extent). But isn't the concept of going to church suppose to be optional?
Get this; the church leader's own son (the one around my age) doesn't have to show his face there! Neither him nor his idiot buddies.
Why not US Me? I dont' even do 1/10 of the junk they do!
I really think this is one thing where they can lay off me about.
I rarely go outside anyway, and I detest the type of activities guys my age in my neighborhood do.I think it depends on the branch. I know my parents, as Catholics, had to promise when they got married that they'd raise any children they have as Catholics. That includes bringing us to church, and has resulted in more than a few arguments between my parents and sister. I guess then those Spiritual types are the worst kind. That's what the church I must deal with is apparently.
They are just TOO enthusiastic. Be it from the unbearable music to the sudden flailing about as if they have a seizure.
I can't even talk to those people without it leading to them referencing the Bible somehow. I don't know HOW the hell they do it, but they do whenever they get the chance to.
The worst part is they had the audacity to put me, with a few others, on altar duty.
Yeah. Lighting candles, cleaning the candleholders, and all of that. I have to wait till bloody sudown just so we can put out the candles and I can get out of that dmaned robe.
They even want me there early. Like 8am early.
Man was not meant to get up on Saturday at 8am, especially since Saturday morning cartoon have turned to crap.

Aurelia Celestis Zephyrkitty Aurelia Celestis Tonberry Crunch Bah.No trick or treats for me. I DO IT BECAUSE I'M YOUNG. Stupid lolis. crying WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST LOLIES?!?! YOU CAN GO TRICK-OR-TREATING AND NOT BE STARED AT! crying Owwin Until you reach a certain age right. Confirmation is supposed to be your choice isn't it? That is what they told me. I was confirmed because I love church, I just never go. I need a car. @T- I believe that faith should be a choice, and I am sure the priest does too, but your family obviously doesn't so deal with them for now. I was confirmed two years ago, and I haven't really noticed a difference myself. Confirmation's supposed to be your choice, but I'll be honest and say that I don't feel like I had a choice in the matter. Anyway, I'm going to go get dinner. See you guys later.

At least the enthuastic people caught that Jesus' basic message was love. Could you apply to do another job that doesn't require getting up so early and staying so late? That would lessen the problem, at least.

And as for how long, I ask how much longer I have the DIShonor of being one, and they can't even give me a good enough answer!
And the funny thing is they have plenty of other kids that can help out; they can at least let me off and give my place to someone who actually gives a s**t.
I apologize if I'm swearing, which i rarely do. I always feel this pissed when friday eve roll around.

Zephyrkitty I'd rather the person be enthuastic about their faith than pulling stuff like this. I ******** hate humanity. At least the negative connotations of humanity. Religion is one of the great things given to us. It is supposed to perpetuate love, motivate us towards good, and unify us in a belief that there is something greater, no matter what being or ideal it is. Yet humans have twisted scriptures and ruined wonderful ideas for selfish motives and spiteful bullcrap. It is s**t like this that makes me see where D is coming from.

In fact, I'd even go out of character and go outta my way to see that place covered in eggy goodness!

I have never heard of having to get up at 8 and stay untill sundown. I like church, but I don't think I could stay for that long. Thought the crazy music and flailing sounds like that time I visited a Baptist church one time. One of my favorite masses of all time.

Yeah I think it's a Baptist or spiruital church or something like that.
I even stop and think on how much they've spent on Olive Oil aand candles alone.

Halloween's another problem.
Apparently no one seems to see the fun part about Halloween.
They think it's all evil and wtchcraft.
Sure there's alwasy the eggy aftermath, but that's not evil, that''s just silliness.
I haven't even gotten any good candy.
I got a rock.

I got a rock. I've been lucky and have mostly avoided the 'Halloween is evil and witchcraft' people, but they're aggravating to put up with. Who gave you a rock? 0_o

I got a rock. I actually want to give candy to every kid in a group except one kid. I want to give one kid a rock. Just so they reenact that scene later. EDIT: actually I would just slip a rock in behind a candy bar or something. Not giving candy is a mean trick.
