You know you're a band geek when...
+You've been told (several times, in several classes) to stop drumming on your desk (for drummers).
+You know all of the cheerleaders' cheers because you've been to every game, and frequently join in.
+You get depressed at the end of the football season
+You laugh at something and when people look at you, you say "it's a band thing".
+You start arranging music for marching band just for fun
+When you're sick or injured, people have to yell at you to get off the field rather than to come back on.

you know ur a band nerd when u consider ur instrument ur child and try to determine its gender and give it a name..but how do u know the gender and give it a name without that info???gah!!!
you know ur a band nerd when u play ur instrument when ur totally bored
you know ur a band nerd when u see anything relating to band u start freaking out and ignore everything else going on
you know ur a band enrd when u ignore the content of the movie and just listen to the background music then start humming along

lol yea..
u know ur aband nerd when u sit around the band room before ur bd kick u and ur friends out and says to go to homeroom
(me & my friends do this for real our bd says "your homeroom teachers love you" and we say no they don't and beside we love in here don't kick us out" she push us out and says see you three period in very funny u would have to see it)

You know your a band geek when you call our text your band director just because your bored. Or in the middle of class....because that has happened a few times to us....heheh.

You know your a band geek when you're watching a movie or tv and suddenly gasp and yell out "We played that song in band last year!!!!!" (Hah, I did that...)
You know your a band geek when you get excited when you see the insterment you play on tv.(or anywhere else for that matter)

DiddleFreak61387 You know you're a band nerd when you start to sing past shows and your friends join in. My friends did that once, they were walking down the hall way and one asked how this part in one song goes, and they got to it and on the next downbeat they all busted into last year's show.. damn my band class does that when we get on the bus to play at other schools like our favorite is Polar Express.Flutes always start it.lol

you know youre a band geek when...
you practice marching drills in your room because you are bored.
the majority of your friends are in band.
you laugh at all the non band people who dont get instrument jokes.
you know the way your bd moves his baton.
you have all of your music from when you first started and have tried to compose a medley with it.
you actually have completed the composition of said medley.
you randomly hum songs that youve played.
almost all the people you have dated are or were in band.
you love your uniform no matter how ugly it is.
you go to the football games/basketball games JUST to play your instrument.
for reed instruments: you have eaten a reed before...not on purpose, it just kinda happened.

You know you're a band geek when:
-Your weekend plans are band, and band only.
-You come home around four hours after the football ends just b/c you got caught up in singing your band music with friends.
-You watched your past band shows and know every move, note, and song from that year and sing along.
-You can remember everything that happened to you in your Freshman Band Year, and they're your favorite things to remember.
-When fingering's no longer considered dirty...to you.
-You take better care of your uniform than you do the rest of your wardrobe.
-You forget to put your jewelery back on after a game/competition.
-You're not afraid to be seen in the band room.

1 You walk in time with other people
2 You'll be with your other friends(not in band) and you'll say something about band and say "it's a band thing..."
3When you turn down a party invite because you have to practice for your solo 3 months from now
4 When you plan your whole summer around band camp
5 When you've told stories that started with "one time at band camp..."
6 When someone says "slide" you don't think of a park
7 Your ringtone is a song your band has played (guilty sweatdrop )
8 Your whole weekend is booked because you have a concert on Friday, a contest on Sat., and you HAVE to practice on Sun.
