He paused for a second, taking a breath. Well it looked close but it might've been a little ways away. After catching his breath, he felt better though. This time, he would run and make it to the next area. Digging his shoes into the ground for a better push off, he then started running again. He kept a steady pace and this time he was getting a lot closer then before! Excellent! The boy slowed as he got closer and closer. What kind of new adventures awaited him in here?[10/10] Kyo the Zangoose, Lvl 4 [M] Rash HP: 21/21, PP: 22, ATK: 15, DEF: 11, SPD: 13, SP. ATK: 12, SP. DEF: 9 Moves: Scratch, Leer, Night Slash Item: Razor Claw Exp: 85/300 Bio: Jade was wandering on Mirage Island alone when a pokemon attacked him from behind. Shedding blood and giving him a deep wound on his back and arm, he quickly called Namiko out to protect him. After a fierce battle in which the Lapras was winning, he decided to use his only pokeball and catch the powerful pokemon.

Though it would be something fast and brown and green that would stop him in his tracks. The sound of feet sliding as the Nuzleaf would get in front of him ...there was anger there, because he had saw his opponent running and he had had to pretty much chase after him.
A paw went up as he bend over panting.
That wasn't acceptable, and that meant that this kid wasn't going to be able to simply run away as he stands in front. The call to battle had been issued then as he waited to see which pokemon would take it up. The shuffle of movements would show that he wasn't alone as another one of his kind would appear as well ...as the two Nuzleaf smiles at each other and than at them with a big grin.
This would be fun.

( 18 - 9 ) + ( 14 -14 ) = 9 x 2 = 18
Tropius HP: 8Though moving out of the way wouldn't be easy, and the Tropius would feel the force of a rock hard wing smacking into her side twice before Erion had to fly forwards, or risk falling into the ground. It certainly hurt a fair bit, no doubt it would bruise. Well, it was expected of him...he hadn't been the king of the skies in his area for nothing!
Ah, hopefully she'd forgive him for that one, they'd make wonderful friends! Well, if they had the chance, maybe. Or maybe not, she didn't look like she'd be so interested in him anyways, in fact she seemed rather angry...did something happen before he came out?
He watched the Tropius' movements closely, when she came near he'd be sure so fly out of her way.

Lunarsun Tropuis (f) ((+1 defensive roll)) lvl: 5/Adamant hp: 8/26 Pp:21 Att: 14 Def; 14 Spd: 11 Sp Att: 11 Sp Def: 15 moves: Leer, Gust, Headbutt Capture roll: 9 The attack would hit with enough force to literally send the tropius spinning off her feet. The first time hit it was with enough force to serious crack something even if it was just her backbone. Her hindquarters were in pain as she got up to face her opponent again .... The pain replaced by a much more calculating mind.
She wouldn't go spinning by herself again as jumps forward trying to catch the Pokemon off his toes with an headbutt. This battle was far from over.

Lunarsun Tsuki the Lunar Wind (injury count 2/5. What happens to my character if it goes all the way?) ((Faints and wakes up missing either items or newly caught pokemon))
Though this time the pokeball would smack the Ponyta in the chest. She was caught completely off guard as she felt her body pulled inside and she was quickly turned into a red light. Pulled inside ...as the pokeball rocked once, twice, and one final hard rock before she goes still.Ponyta (f) lvl:2/lax Hp: 14 Pp: 18 Att: 9 Def; 7 Spd: 9 Sp Att: 8 Sp Def: 7 Moves: Growl, Tackle, Flame Wheel Exp: 0/100 ((Hey not to complain but last night I copied and pasted Ponyta's stat thing on a word file. So I went back a few pages and her stats were like this as the beginning of the battle Ponyta (f) lvl:2/Jolly Hp: 14 Pp: 17 Att: 9 Def:7 Spd: 9 Sp Att: 7 Sp Def: 8 Moves:Growl, Tackle, Heat Wave Exp: 0/100)) Tsuki picked up he Pokeball. Now if they faced another Pokemon going to the boat they'd be prepared to fight it. And maybe catch it if he so decided. Sending out... Charlie, he walked towards where he had came. Charlie skipped along, happy she could go on an adventure. "I'll name my Heatmor Blaze. Since he likes showing off by shooting fire. Like it Charlie?" She neighed in agreement. Personally she wished her name was Neighpalm. But hey, whatcha gonna do? So on they went.

The boy had practically made it to the next area when suddenly a Nuzleaf blocked his path. Then another Nuzleaf joined it. He sighed, great so close and yet so far. "Alright guys, guess you both get a chance to battle." The boy then stepped back, letting his Umbreon and his Zangoose work together for once. This would be interesting to see how this worked out.Nyx grinned, glancing at his partner once. ">Well don't bring me down.<" the dark pokemon remarked. He then turned to the two Nuzleaf. ">You guys have a chance to back down. Otherwise we won't hold back.<" he remarked. The Umbreon's golden rings glowed brightly, almost illuminating him within the dark forest. The only other thing that was making him visible was the bright moonlight coming from the sky.Kyo smirked. Working together with this trickster would be interesting indeed. My how the tables had turned. He was just glad for his chance to fight another opponent. This time, he would prove his real power as he glares at the Nuzleaf pair. ">Better listen to what he has to say. He's a lot nicer then I am. I won't hold back.<" The Zangoose flexed his claws, the moonlight practically making his white fur glisten in the darkness. Erion HP = 19Though just barely, the Headbutt struck him, and while it didn't send him spinning, it did knock him back a fair bit. Just a bit. In fact, except for the headbutt that brought down Specter, all of the Tropius' attacks had either missed or done barely a thing. Ada wondered to herself if maybe, just maybe, this Tropius might have had trouble aiming...or seeing even. Maybe it needed glasses or something, who knows...
Erion flicked his tail in annoyance at the hit. Well two could play at that! Ah, he just wanted to chip away a bit more, though, enough for the girl to maybe consider...well, it wasn't like he wanted her to do that, anyways, but they needed...more great teammates! Yes, better, bigger, bulkier teammates! Ones that could take hits!
Dragonbreath, that seemed like it wouldn't hurt her much. He opened his mouth, a blueish flame-like energy shooting out at the Tropius. Well, it sure did smell like a dragons breath, a stench so bad it made some stop in their tracks!

">FAAAAAIIIL!<" This sole word Genn would roar was the Excadrill retreated, the phrase followed closely by a rather significant amount of chuckling on the Steelix's part. He wasn't entirely certain as to why he'd felt the need to shout that of course, it just seemed right.
Though in truth, Genn was well aware of the significant amount of luck which he'd just been blessed with. Now if only it would hold...
Shaking his body slightly to loosen it, the massive Steelix would twist his head sideways in the tunnel. Once he was settled into position, he would begin taking slow, steady breaths, each one coming out as steam as he exhaled...no, not steam, frost.
Ice would rapidly coat his square teeth, transforming them into vicious icy fangs. Moving his bulk as best he could, Genn lunged forward, intent on clamping down upon his opponent with Ice Fang! ((After looking back...I have realized Raven was farther along then I thought. I really need to stop copy pasting the first post finisher I find...))

">She's not very inventive is she?<" The Pawniard cast the comment alongside a weak grunt as the Nidorino's horn sank into his leg...but again, it would prove insufficient. Typing was serving the Pawniard quite well in this battle.
Now they both stood at a disadvantage in this fight, it would take only one blow to end this on either side. Unfortunately for Animus however, that last strike would make what was coming all the more powerful.
That black-red aura would consume the Pawniard's bladed limb. There would be no further charging beyond that, no taunting. No, the Pawniard simply struck out for the softest location within reach. Animus was about to get a taste of Revenge, and for it he might just lose an eye!

Although the Stealth Rock didn't maybe work out how Jasmine had planned, the fact it had saved them was more than thankful to be enough, the girl would scarcely breathe until she was sure that she was in fact, in one piece.
She cautiously opened that eye and saw around her, everything was dark, all apart from one flickering light in the middle of it all, Burnout.
The Lampent there hovered and showed her that Lindbergh was currently planted protectively over her, shielding her from the rocks above.
She could hear the scratchy little noises the Joltik's made as they spoke, and she looked at the stern expression of the Lampent not to make a sound... he was listening.
And then he would turn to Lindbergh, his voice barely above the flicker of his own flame.
[They wish to see us suffer a while... they're leaving us to make examples fo us... just as they're about to make examples of that Spinarak.]
Lindbergh bit down and glanced back, her eyes eerily lit themselves as she would open them. [Well... Jasmine isn't going to like that... so we need to get ourselves out already!]
[Do your whole ghosty thing and phase through the rocks already, see if it's safe for us to breakout!]
Burnout bobbed in the air there a moment.
And Lindbergh held an unimpressed pause. [You don't know how, do you?]
The Lampent's flame went back and forward. [Well YOU are very much alive, could you know how to draw me an illustrated diagram of your small intestines?]
Lindbergh growled, if she could have lifted an arm right now, she'd have used it to cover her face. [Just close your eyes, hold your breath and make a wish, alright? Just keep going up and don't stop!]
[...I don't believe this is the Wizard of Oz.] Burnout grumbled as indeed, his flame would grow, his body rising slowly.
[And go invisible or something!] She suddenly hissed quietly back up at the Lampent.
[I knew that!] He barked indignantly, but kept his voice lowered again, but looking back and forth to make sure she wasn't watching him, as only now did he begin to fade, until the only tangible sign of the former Arcanine was a lick of flame that would begin to rise to the surface of the rocks.
But now... what would he see... could he see if they were still guarding the rock pile... or would he even be able to figure out phasing through objects with Lindbergh's instruction... or even how to be invisible?

It was pure luck that they hadn't been crushed, but luck had ran out for the Spinarak as her blood splatter upon the ground. The leader hadn't wasted any time in making an example of her ...her blood dripping upon stones as the rock that had been used to crush her ...showed only her twitching legs. She had made an error in getting help from them, and that was the price she would pay.
It was only that performance that would prevent anyone from noticing the flashes of light in the rock. Though trapped, if they were able to talk normally ...and breathe between those stones that meant that there was openings. And as anger made his flame flare, that light would show in the stones themselves. A changing in the shadows, but it went by unnoticed as the execution took place ...the other spinarak shying away.
They had thought her foolish before, and now they were glad they hadn't dared to follow.
Though his flames would be missed ....it wasn't going to be pure timing to determine if his presences itself would be missed. The Joltik above them watches them ....as below them the other two groups waited for the call to remove the rubble.
The leader simply watches it all with a delight that he didn't bother to hide. She would have been a lovely female to mate, but, he couldn't deal with her will ...so it was best to send her to the heavens.
Besides, he had plenty to play with as he thought about doing just that while he waited. A Spinarak female notices his eyes on her and cower. She was pretty too and perfect for his cause.
A single signal would have her taken from the others ......yes, this was his village now and nothing would change that.

Animus would counter back as he felt his horn sink in. No, she wasn't very inventive, but then again ..she hadn't really lead him wrong on such an attack as he skids back a few paces. His horn down and level with his opponent as the pokemon came at him again.
This was it, he could back off, and simply avoid the move ...but ....and it happen then. Victoria saw that weakness she had been looking for since this battle began. A smile would curl on her lips, this was extremely risky, but she saw nothing to lose as she calls out.
"Aim for the throat ....use Take Down." "It's time to end this fight ...once and for all."
A single nod, and he would raise his horn upwards as he pushes off towards his opponent with a devastating blow.

The attack would hit hard as the Excadrill was caught between those fangs. His blood sputtering out as it hit the cavern floor and dripped from his maw. His mind's eyes frozen in time as he felt the world collaspse on him. His eyes seeing not here, but the place before it ...his trainer's inside being crushed.
Was this how it felt?
Was this the last pain that his trainer had felt? His life being taken away by a force that would crush him from the outside in ....was this the pain. The pokemon didn't bother to attack as he flinches at the sharpness of the pain ...of his own crippling members of his trainer's last moments.
It was time for Genn to attack again ....if he could.

Though the Tropius wasn't at all worried about the attack ....a** he sits back a bit. Her board leaves would open widely as she grin dangerously at the attack ...no she had other plans. As they started to flap one after the other ...and faster and faster as it would soon become like a fan. The move whipping up gust even as it threaten to send that breathe attack right back at the pokemon that had fired it.
This was the Tropius's display of power. She wouldn't be easily defeated...afterall, she is the guardian of this area. Her grin turned almost feral ...though it would be a sad thing if this warrior died. He was more than just a little bit cute ...as she flapped her board leaves over and over again.
Too bad, but there was nothing she could do about it.
He had afterall challenge her.

The two pokemon smirked lightly ...as the claim as the one that had been bent over would slowly straighten up.
((We haven't work so hard to catch up to you two ...just to let you slip away. Be prepared for battle.))
He declares with both of his paws pointed at his opponent. His other partner would nod as well to make it clear his point as well. The two were ready and willing to battle, but whether this would be hard or difficult was hard to figure out as they stood ready on defense.
After such a hard run, of course, neither one of two was pushing for the first attack.
