"You promise?" She looked at the ground next to her. She didn't want to sleep...but she needed to. "Even if I sleep the way I need to?"

Callista smiled shyly. "Thanks." She scooted over and opened the ground and slid down into it. "I'll see you later." She waved her hoof to close the earth and shut down her systems regretfully.

Valzar watched the ground where she'd disappeared for a few moment. He knew he should return home. His family would be worried about him...But I've spent most days alone in my room, there's always to possibility that they won't notice I'm gone... With that he curled up on the ground beside where she rested and tried to get some sleep.

Callista stirred beneath the ground the next night, waving he soil off of her as she did so. She floated up to see Valzar laying there and she smiled. She woke a little hungry and debated on going and and eating now or waiting to tell Valzar where she went. She decided she'd tell him when she got back. He didn't seem all that interested in that part of her life. With that she glided out of the clearing to find some prey.

Valzar's eyes blinked open slowly. Something had disturbed him - something had changed in the energies that flowed around him. His fist thought/instinct (it was getting hard to tell the two apart) was to check on Callista. His natural sensors revealed that she was no longer near him so he reached out with his mind searching for hers. Callista - is everything alright?

Callista blinked and let go of her prey. She licked the wound and put the yearling down against a tree. I'm fine...just out getting a bite to eat. I'll be back soon, I just finished up.

Callista glided back in, rested, rejuvenatied and at full power. "Sorry...I didn't mean anything by it. I was trying to be normal."

"Yes. Isn't that a normal expression?" She waved her hoof and covered her little hole. "Sorry I didn't clean up this rising. I didn't want to disturb you anymore than I had to."

"I got a small lecture on my health, and you can't remember when you've eaten last?" Callista shook her head and rolled her eyes. "Can I get you something, then? I'm not a very good cook, since I never have to, but I can try..."
