Nina blinked, and dashed after her friends, being followed by Sabrina, Anna, Regal, and Mihoshi. "Hey, wait up!" she called.

Wasting no time the boy started the battle. "Zangoose use your Sword Dance!" He shouted. The Pokemon did an odd battle dance raisning his Attack power greatly.
"Do your stuff Nightmare! Flamethrower!" Mitsu shouted wanting to finish the battle quickly. The Pokemon once more blew out red hot fire.
"Too slow! Dodge that Zangoose!" The trainer shouted. The Zangoose jumped up completely missing the fire attack. "Hit it with a Crush Claw!" He yelled. The Zangoose raised it's left claw up and slammed it onto Nightmare's lowered head doing crital damaged after being powered up by the Sword Dance.
Already weaked by the Spark attack Mitsu decided to recall Nightmare. "Return! Let's go Ivy!" She said tossing out the Pokeball.
"Crush Claw Zangoose!" The boy shouted. And the Zangoose followed in suit.
"Toxic!" She counted. The bud on Ivy's back opened spraying out poison all over the charging Pokemon.

"Follow threw Zangoose! Crush Claw!" He shouted determined to win the match.
"Let's try a Giga Drain Ivy!" She shouted. Moments before the Zangoose's strike was about to land the Pokemon jumped out of the way latching it's vines onto the Pokemon slowing draining it's life and healing itself.
"Finish it off Ivy, Razor Leaf!" She shouted and the Ivy listened. Extremely shap leaves came rushing out and hit the Zangoose who was already weaked from the Giga Drain and suffering from the poison. The match was over and Mitsu won.
The boy withdrew his Pokemon and dashed off in the opposite direction to reach a PokeCenter. "Wait!" She called out. "There's a PokeCenter right here!" But it was too late and the boy had gone off.
Mitsu recalled Ivy and walked to the Mauville Pokemon Center giving Nurse Joy Ivy and Nightmare's Pokeballs. She plopped down taking a break.

Mike speedily entered the Pokemon Center and recalled Titanium, giving Nurse Joy his Pokemon. "I'll take good care of them Mike, don't you worry."
Her smile beamed like the light of a thousand Ampharos.

Kasiya kept going over her victory in her mind. She couldn't believe how well Shocker had pulled off Attract. Her heart and spirit was soaring higher than a Pidgeot. Now, she thought, after Fang evolved, she'd be able to soar the skies wherever she wanted.
In her state of bliss, she didn't realize she'd missed the sliding door by about two feet, and ran straight into the wall next to it. She peeled herself off the wall, shot a sheepish grin at Nina, and entered, as Mike handed over all his Pokeballs. Good thing he didn't see that, she giggled to herself.

She dozed off only to be awaken by the noise signalling that her Pokemon were healed. She thanked the nurse and walked out side reclipping all of her Pokeballs onto her belt. She walked outside having a hard time deciding where to go next. "I think that we've been to the beach more than enough for today." She said eyeing Route 118.

Glancing over his shoulder, Mike saw Kasiya rubbing her head and blushing. He looked back at the wall. "Didn't think I'd notice huh?" He smiled to himself, she was cute.

"See what?" she asked innocently, handing her Pokeballs to Nurse Joy. "I did that on purpose. Honestly." Beaming, she sat down to wait, thinking that not even running into a wall could ruin her great mood.

Nina grinned a little and held back a laugh. She followed Kasiya in, and Sabrina followed her. It was no sooner that the door had closed behind Sabrina that Nina's PokeNav rang.
She took it out of her pocket, and looked at the name that displayed: Raimundo.
Nina let out a ridiculously loud squeal, saying, "IT'S HIM! WHAT DO I SAY?!" She realized that she drew a lot more attention to herself than she would have liked, and Sabrina replied, "For starters... you could answer it and say hello."

Fifteen minutes later.
"Okay how do we always end up at the beach?" Mitsu said with a loud sigh. Nightmare was enjoying his swim as usual and Ebony, Karri, and Ivy were playing tag. The Haunter winning. She looked up at the sky wathcing clouds pass by. "Not in any shapes today I guess." She said and returned to watching her Pokemon.

Kasiya chuckled and turned to Sabrina. "Does somebody have a crush?" she giggled.

She opened up her pack digging in it for some food. Her stomach growled, she hadn't had a bite to eat in days. "Nothing!" She said rather loudly. Next she grabbed her wallet. She opened it and shook it upside down. "Nothing." She said once more. She was hungry, very hungry. "PokeCenter!" She thought happily as thoughts of food flooded her head. She turned to her Pokemon and withdrew them. Mitsu dashed off for the Center she thanked the nurse several times before returning to the same spot. The Pokemon released themselves eating some of Mitsu's lunch.

Sabrina grinned. "You could say that."
Nina bit her lip, grinning, and calmed down before answering her PokeNav. "Hello?" she said sweetly.
"Nina, hi!" said Raimundo's voice from the other line.
"Why, Raimundo, hello!" Nina said, sounding kind of phony. "How are you?"
Raimundo chuckled. "I'm doing well, and yourself?"
"Well, my day just got a lot better." She grinned.
He chuckled again, and said, "Listen, remember when we were back in Ecruteak and I caught you when you were falling?"
She sighed dreamily. "How could I forget...?" Her eyes got big as she realized what she had just said. "I mean, I almost got covered from head to toe in mud; of course I couldn't forget!
"Well," Raimundo replied, "I found something that you might have dropped-- I didn't realize it until I got home from shopping, and I found a Revive that I didn't buy."
"Oh, that would be mine, all right! Heh, I'm so clumsy..." She was blushing. "Would you like me to come back to Goldenrod and meet you, or--"
"I wouldn't want to inconvenience you, so I'll have my Xatu deliver it if you don't mind."
Nina's tone fell dull. "Oh. That's fine."
"All right, where are you now?"
"I'm over in Vermillion City in the Kanto region, at the Pokemon Center," she replied.
"All right," Raimundo said, "Cybil should be visiting you in about fifteen minutes. See ya later, Nina!"
"Bye," she said softly, and hung up.

She munched on a red apple. It was crisp and sweet. She smiled feeling full. "I wonder when Mike will get here?" She said. "I'll need some extra training before challenging Wattson." She threw the apple core in a near by trash can and returned to keeping an eye on her Pokemon.
