Sorry, again my definition of godmodding differs from yours...and besides I did take a hit and plan on taking hits...Most of the time I describe my stuff in such a way that it seems stronger than it really is. And if you say im godmodding ill do something about it like toning something back. I know I got out of hand with you in the potluck thread azura and I dont plan on making the same mistakes. I even went back and omitted something after never said I was godmodding.

Again like I said the power of my rings isnt absolute. And the weaknesses for them should be obvious. Water beats my fire ring, earth beats my water ring, anything I make with my senior ring can be broken, and all I can do atm with my diamond/onyx ring is make a bright flash of light or obscuring darkness or smoke.

I have only one somewhat absolute defense and it is the same as never. A defence against lightning/electricity. I made it because my character has a tendency to get hit by lightning often... sweatdrop Too much use can short it out though.

Another EDIT:Ya know...I actually WANT him to hit some. See I want to use my uber funny technique that may or may not (its actually up to him) rid him of one of his attack methods...but its a summon so you get the idea.

You readin this never? YOU get to decide whether it has any effect on you or not. Thats the way I had it planned from the start. As soon as you hit me enough I would go into over limits and unleash my uber lolz technique...

Yes a gun that shoots out planets...I stole it from someone elses irl rp. The gun is normal size and planet shots are the size of an average bullet but upon leaving the barrel they immediately expand outwards from the gun. Not once have I use it nor will I ever use it...I have many other godmoddy horrors im holding back...

You forgot to capitalize the b in but, you spelt near wrong (in which I'm presuming you meant to say near), and you didn't put a punctuation mark at the end of your sentence. Yes, I say your idiocy level is nowhere near mine because you go way beyond it. wink

It's like that one time I fought with Never and I allowed him do massive damage to me right away. Then when I tried attacking him, he always frikkin' stopped my attacks somehow.

It was irritating.

I edited my last post about 10 times so ya... sweatdrop sorry about the editing fury...Fedora if you read my overly edited last post you will note that I am NOT using all the techniques I use Irl. Some of the techniques I use here are even toned down quite a bit from my Irl rping. Im just saying that because of my lack of online rp experience I dont know HOW MUCH to tone it down quite yet. I way over did it with azura in the dwarven stew thread with my shadow clones, armor, and many other things. And I have learned from that. Note I majorly toned down shadow clones when seth showed up. If you think 50 is still too much im open for suggestions.

Also I never meant any imlpication that I wanted someone to thank me for holding back. Im just saying that I already scaled back from Irl. Im saying that I have a basic understanding of godmodding but it is still flawed.

Um..."telling you what you can do better" IS a form of criticism.

And it is through criticism that you learn better. I take it, Vance takes it, and the most skilled RPers I know take it too. We are criticizing constructively, we're not leaving it at "you suck" and "attacking you like you're some grotesque creature" as you claim. The advice we're telling is generally to stop thinking of all these backups and counters. No matter how you try to twist things around, it may not look impenetrable to you (because only you know the weakness), but it does to the rest of us (because we're not in your head).

This is the same way we criticize each other. Vance and I, I mean. We even openly tell each other our characters' vulnerabilities. Believe it or not, that's part of what makes it fun.

It's okay to be wrong or look vulnerable sometimes. Nobody's perfect, and it doesn't make you a lesser person. IMO, it is when you're trying to PWN everybody that makes you look like the lesser person.
