((I can definitely see how you'd get distracted by anime. Anime is wonderful~ ))
She sighed her relief as he backed off. She'd definitely have to figure out something else. Would he attack the same way? Would he rush her again? She had an idea. She took a defensive stance, and made no attempt at an offense.
((Sorry! Had to brush my teeth and remove my contacts. Yay for glasses! They don't try to slice my eyeballs open. :3 ))

"I should introduce myself shouldn't I," Luna thought looking at the other students. "I'm going to be working with them for the year so I might as well get to know them. Then again do I really want to get to know people who might die at any second? Friends only cause pain and trouble so why should I go through that again?" Folding her wings behind her again Luna continued watching the fighting at the other students to see how they were acting, maybe she could fit in more like a student if she watched them.

There were sounds of fighting coming from somewhere and Horatus was going to find it, and possibly put a stop to unorganized sparring. Upon reaching the commotion he decided not to do anything about it and just watch to make sure no one got seriously hurt. "Namen has some talent considering she's blind," Horatus thought. "A little rough around the edges and too nice but that can be worked on. It's not every day you see talent like that in someone who could take advantage of being crippled and make everyone else work instead."

Silver closed her eyes briefly, taking in a breath and letting out a relieved sigh. She then opened her eyes and looked at him with a soft smile.

Varnis had lowered went back down form his defensive position, wondering why she went into a defensive position her self. She knows I am going to attack her, but she doesn't know when. He had thought to himself. Thinking for a few seconds. He ran towards her head on, but instead of attacking he attempted to slide under her, and get her from behind.
((Oooohhh... I would hate to have contacts I would prefer glasses, but I don't need them so yay >.< Also sorry for the late post, i was brushing my teeth.))

"The Girl is Namen, and the guy is Varnis. My name is Rain by the way." Rain answered Naomi's question and looked back down too the fight. I guess it is understandable that Namen doesn't attack. She thought to herself.

Walking closer to the fighting students Horatus figured he might as well start teaching as he had been away for class already. "Namen," he said in a voice not quite as harsh as he had been talking to the students when they first met him, "you can't just stand there and wait for him to attack. I know you have a dissability but you have to attack as well or you won't be any good in battle."

Seeing her smile he couldn't help and say, "But you look a lot better with a smile on your face." giving her a foxy grin.
Attempting to get up he was beginning to feel the fatigue on his body.
Teme watched his master and was relieved that he was back but also sighed knowing all too well his master is still as reckless as ever seeing that he was trying to get up.
((I wish I could be watching my new apprentice fight crying . Mah oh well... I'll see him fight soon enough.))

She cursed in her mind. Part of her plan had involved dropping to the ground, and now he was beneath her, attempting to slide between her legs. She turned her torso, holding the hilt of her sword with both hand, and began to stab downward, until she heard Horatus' voice. "Oh?" she asked, stopping mid-stab."Yes, sorry, Headmaster."
((Hope he wasn't looking up. Namen doesn't often wear panties. (jk)

After a long awkward silence Naomi said "I'm bored. Wanna spar with me?" she knew that she only met Rain 5 minutes ago and the only person she's ever fought with was her father, but she thought Rain would be a worthy opponent.

She looked around, feeling thoroughly alone. Surely none of these people had ever been hunted. Their mothers hadn't tried to tear their hearts out with eight-legged spider daggers. Their sisters hadn't tried to poison them with silkumen acid. She felt alone. utterly and completely alone. She picked up the small bag she held beside her, and began to wander.

"Use the strengths you have that he doesn't to your advantage," Horatus said. "He may be able to see but you can things he isn't able to, it's just a matter of figuring out what you can do that he can't before he attacks you again so you can attack him first."
Glancing around Horatus saw a lot of students who hadn't been here on the first day and made a mental note to lecture them about being on time once they got into his class. He might not have been there for the first couple days of school but he had been there the second the doors were open and that's what mattered. How could Horatus help the fact he had to go out immediately and get things for the school due to the dredfully under-staffed status.

Rain looked over at Naomi and blinked looking as if she had spoken in another language. Honestly Rain had never sparred with anyone before. She didn't know if lunch would end soon either. "I guess so..." She said softly while looking at one of the Headmasters was instructing Namen.

He saw the blade coming down at his face, he moved his head slightly but not enough. She got the edge of his helmet, which stopped him in his slide, and pinned him to the ground. Great, now I got a sword stuck in my helmet. He thought as he went to a sudden stop. He thought about taking off his helmet, but then that would leave his head exposed, so he decided, to grab onto one of her legs, and knock her over.

Silver placed a hand to his chest as he tried to move. "Oh no, you don't", she insisted. "Now you need to rest. I'm going to heal you some, but you'll need to rest the rest of the day."
With her hand still on his chest, she concentrated. Soon a soft glow once again appeared beneath her hand as the warm energy flowed into him.

Horatus shook his head as he realized how dangerous it was for Namen to be practicing with other students, someone was going to get seriously hurt. Watching the match continue Horatus studied the girl's movements so he could train her better later with more supervision so no one could be killed by accident.

Figuring they would be here for a while Luna sat down near the sparring match instead of introducing herself figuring friends never helped anything. Wrapping her wings around her body she closed her eyes and let her mind wander, instantly three purely innocent faced came into her mind's eye. All three faces were laughing through the biggest smiles imaginable. Two were boys and one was a girl all looking the same age, although what age was hard to determine as they were all so innocent and pure.
The two boys grabbed Luna's hands and the other girl joined on at the end of the line and the group went running over a field full of sun and flowers to a pond. There was no slowing down as the four of them plunged into the water that was neither hot nor cold. Glancing down at her reflection once she came up Luna saw innocent light green eyes gazing back at her surounded by golden hair... and the memory broke around her leaving her sitting on the ground near a sparring match.
