Crissy and Joyce both thanked Liam, and Joyce gently rubbed the Beautifly's head until he blushed and flew up into the air. The girl's smiled and then headed into the forest.

Nightshade saw something glittering on the ground and he swooped down to pick it up, and he saw that it was a blue rock that reminded him of the water. Thinking that Joyce might like it, and picked it up and then fazed his hand and the stone through her bag to drop the stone inside.

As Alex kept exploring the city he noticed that there was a lot of people in front of a building, he approached a person and ask"um what's all the commotion here" "you don't know" said the man "we are watching the gym leader roxan battle " "realy?" he replied, After the battle was done Alex entered the gym and said " Roxan! i challenge you to a gym battle"

Roxanne emerged from the leader's quarters and offered a friendly smile. "Welcome to my gym, Trainer." she greeted. "If you've come to challenge me, then I accept. but tell me, would you like a 1 on 1 or a double battle?" she asked, willing to go either way. It was her job to ask and, if requested, introduce trainers to the intricacies of double battling.

Roxanne nodded cheerfully. "Very well. Good luck." she replied a she withdrew a Pokeball, seemingly from her sleeve, and threw it into the arena, releasing her Geodude. "Release your first Pokemon, if you please, and we'll begin."

Roxanne watched as Geodude endured the hit. "Excellent opening move. At least you already know about type advantages and disadvantages." she commended the boy. "However, now it's my turn. Geodude, use Magnitude if you would."

Geodude nodded and slammed it's fists into the ground, causing the ground to quake and rumble, boulders erupting towards Treecko.

Roxanne frowned as her Geodude fell. Though unsurprised by the defeat, it wasn't any less of a nuisance to be defeated so easily. Perhaps she should revise her team? That was a worry for another day, so she recalled the fallen boulder Pokmeon to it's ball and called out her Onix.

The Rock Snake coiled about itself and stared down the Treecko. "Bind, if you please." she requested of the enormous serpentine Rock type. Onix roared it's consent and raced forward, coiling it's tail tightly about Treecko and squeezing it harshly, determined to immobilize the Grass type.

Roxanne smirked at the boy's decision. "So, you're opting for a less advantageous position, eh?" she inquired, watching as her Onix let out a yawn of drowsiness. "Very well, I'll have to try and end this quickly." she noted as she looked up to her Pokemon. "Rock Throw, please." she requested, watching as the Pokemon slammed it's tail into the ground, throwing stones of all sizes at the Sloth.
