Yumi stood only feet from the dummy. She stared at it for a moment before bringing the shinai in an upward slashing motion towards the torso of the dummy. She barely missed where a vital organ would be if the dummy were actually alive. She grimaced at the fact that she kept missing, but she knew in her mind that this was the point of training. Although doubt still lingered in her thoughts that Giglamesh wouldn't see potential in her anymore and would send her back to the academy with the other students. She took a backwards step away from the dummy and waited for the next instruction.
I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

She was supposed to attack the head of the dummy, which she failed as well. This wasn't going as well as she had hoped. Yumi decided that she would go ahead and take a break from the clan training. She didn't know where the other academy would stand in their training but she hoped they were doing well. Especially Hiei. She had kind of befriended him from the first moment they met in the academy. The friendship that they were to have would be up in the air for now but hopefully they could be on the same squad in the future. Yumi felt that she would be comfortable with that.

Yumi decided to make her best attempts at the jutsu that Giglamesh had given her the option of completing if she wanted to. She had decided that maybe her mind just needed a change of pace to be able to focus better.
Focusing her chakra she was trying to blend into her surroundings.

She almost had it but her arm was sticking out from the attempt at the jutsu. She was starting to think that today wasn't her day for training, and it was seemingly true. Focusing her vision on her hands that were forming a hand seal she tried it again.

She completed the jutsu for the first time and was quite satisfied with herself. She wasn't a very boastful person but she was pleased within her own thoughts. Yumi had to take a break to restore her chakra. It was kind of discouraging to have so little chakra. She wished that she had ample reserves of it so that she could do this training over and over again. Then she wouldn't have to worry about running out as quickly and could master the jutsu alot faster.

Yumi was getting alot more confident in some of her abilities but definitely not cocky. She didn't usually have a lot of self esteem but feeling like shew as actually accomplishing something made her feel alot better about herself. She felt her chakra returning and upon it coming back she decided to try the jutsu again.

She failed at disguising herself into her surroundings yet again. The genjutsu that she had to release in a previous lesson with Giglamesh was much more difficult than this. But she didn't let it get to her, she was convinced that she would make it through this soon.

Wrath waited near the badland's entrance for Sakeme. He already had Elruda over his shoulder waiting to get the hell out of this village. It was always a risk actually coming here for him since he entered the village illegally. His actual passport was hand forged. He didn't think anything would happen though. But with all that ca motion at the cafe he had to book it. He was almost positive that the village police were already on the scene and Wrath didn't need to be arrested.

Sakeme jogged into the distance and stopped shorty in front of Wrath and the kid. "Anywhere in particular now? Or are we going to stay for the party?" She wasn't trying to be sarcastic... it was just a natural response to the situation for her.

Sakeme just nodded and followed him... Home sounded like a great place to go... for once... Only after she had gone a few feet into the badlands did she realize that she was leaving family behind. Turning slowly... she looked back towards the village. I'll send her a letter...... maybe... With a small smirk she turned back around and sprinted after the others...

Yumi was bound determined to get this jutsu down and continue on with the lesson with Giglamesh. She was working herself really hard and it showed in her face. After failing the jutsu another time she tried the jutsu again.

This lesson was not going so well. Yumi sat down to reflect on how she could be accomplishing this task better. She closed her eyes as well as to regain her chakra.

She felt her chakra come back and she stood up instantly. Blending into the sandy background was not as easy as it looked. She wasn't going to be discouraged about this.

This was the first time she had mastered the jutsu. She blended well into the background of the Badlands. It made her content but she wasn't going to give up so easily. This was going to be mastered before the end of the day was up. She let the jutsu fall and attempted it again.

She blended back into the background again. And with completing the jutsu for he second time she was out of chakra. She rested to regain her chakra before attempting to complete the jutsu.

She stood there tapping her foot as she waited for the chakra to return to her body. She was definitely putting it through wear and tear by doing all of this training. She smirked as she regained her chakra, it wasn't directed at anyone but she still did it.

Having her chakra back she tried the jutsu again to succeed at completing it for the third and final time. She blended into her background well. When she reappeared into being visible again she looked at Giglamesh for a split second to indicate that she was going to resume her stance training with him.I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.
