((OMG I did a one sentence post crying *is so sad* I've never done a one sentence literate roleplaying post in my lifeeee aaaaaaaaaaahhhh))

Skiiy listens closely to what she has to say, nodding every once in a while. Then, when she finishes, he comes to a kneel, and brings his gunblade to an oath position. "I swear upon my blade, my honor, and the very life that flows through my body, that I will not betray your trust and that I will help you in any way possible." As he finishes, a gust of wind seems to emanate outwards from him, for indeed, his own powers have sword him to that very oath. He returns his blade to his back, then grins at her. "Besides, I've always found it's much more fun with less people, more people cause weaker inter-personal relationships, I say. Now, let's get to it, shall we?" He motions for her to lead the way.

((thats great Dupre!)) "yes lets get some food." she saw that jade did not look at all hungry, so she put her arm around her shoulder and said "whats wronge hon?"

Skiiy follows her off down the hall, but is caught quite off guard by her sudden question. "Hmmm...well, let's see here...I don't really know how long I've been a warder, let's just say I've been one for a while. I'd have to have been one for a pretty good amount of time to be given the position of Master-at-Arms. As to the other thing, there's a very good reason no other Aes Sedai has snatched me up, and that's because I make myself hard to find. I figure if I gotta be Bonded to this person for the rest of my life, it might as well be someone I like, so I kinda dodge the Aes Sedai who come after me most of the time cause...well, they're not my type. You know the ones I'm talking about, those giggly Greens who seem to not have any care for the matters of the world and are caught up in bonding as many warders as possible? I will not be a lapdog!"

Skiiy pauses for a minute, for he has fallen behind Katerine due to the fact that he unconsciously struck up a heroic pose and is now just standing there in the middle of the hallway. He quickly jogs to catch up to Katerine, hoping that she didn't see that. "But of course, it's not cause of their Ajah, I mean, I've seen some of these girls, and there isn't a lot about them past what they put out. I don't need a perfect Aes Sedai, but I need one with a purpose, one who is doing something important. A mission, I guess. But I think I've begun rambling again...Woah, I haven't seen that before!" Skiiy takes the symbol from Katerine and peers at it intently. He searches his memory for anywhere it could've come from, but in the end, he comes up blank. "Nope, nothing...I guess we'll have to continue to look through books..."

((I know I've seen it on one of the banners...but I'm only through book 8, and rather than read the compendium, I want to go without it being spoiled for me. I don't remember where it was from if it was before book 8.))

"Well, you're smarter than I am, I woulda just thought it was a random symbol, like, you know, maybe a family crest thing, but narrowing it down to a country's symbol makes things a lot easier. Okay, lemme see here...I'll look through books about places then, y'know, geography and almanacs and stuff, and maybe I'll find somethin'." Skiiy really does like the Aes Sedai, since he hadn't tried to sneak away like he often found himself doing with those Greens. However, it was her business whether she wanted to bond a warder or not, and he would stand by her and help her in her time of need regardless.

((*Skiiy tries to roleplay and do Chemistry at the same time and ends up searching for the symbol in his Chemistry book.*))

Skiiy begins looking through one of many almanacs he had grabbed off of the shelf for the symbol, but he soon becomes caught up in the book itself. He had not gotten to explore this world very much before coming to the tower, and it sounded truly fascinating. Skiiy continues flipping through the book, trying to absorb as much as possible. So many places he had never been, with so many colorful details! He had always loved learning about places, because it made him feel more comfortable when he visited them. Skiiy finishes reading the almanac, and comes to the horrible realization that he has gotten amazingly off topic, though it is true that he didn't find the symbol in the book. Slightly embarrased, he returns the book to the shelf and begins to go through another one, focusing on his goal this time.

Katerine flipped through the book, barely glancing over each symbol. As she was letting the pages turn, something similar to the symbol crossed her eyes. The serpent biting its tail was twined with the wheel of the ages. They were drawn in such a fashion that they resembled Katerine's symbol. Sitting up straight, she began to read the description and meaning next to it. The words simply said the symbol was an ancient symbol of the Aes Sedai. It was thought to have originated before the half white, half black circle. That was all the passage said though that bore any relevance.

Rising from her seat, Katerine walks down the aisle she had gotten the books from. Searching once more, she finds a book on the ancient Aes Sedai before the Breaking. Sitting down once more, she begins flipping through the book looking for the wheel and serpent figure. When she finds it, there is considerably more information. Glancing over the page, she turns the page to continue reading. What confronts her eyes has her jumping up and walking over to Skiiy. A smile was on her face and it was quite visible that she was extremely happy.

"Look! Here it is. It's a simplified version of the serpent biting its tail twined with the wheel of ages. I can't believe I didn't figure that out before. This book goes on to explain that countries that were heavy benefactors of the Aes Sedai would often put this symbol on things they were able to create with help from the Aes Sedai."
