"But I would have to charge."
But when the tree instead asked him to shake it, he sighed heavily. "Well I suppose since the currency in this world is a complete mystery to me, I will forgo the expense on this singular occasion."
He gave it a shake it would not soon forget and retrieved his prize.

Zar was feeling heartened by his success in making the laughing tree surrender its treasure. He was somewhat less successful as he tried to investigate a willow which objected vigorously to any inspection. He hardly recoiled from the whipping leaves but stepped back anyway.
"Leaves and branches just are not quite thorns." he said, inclining his head a little.
"I think that is the extent of our mandatory forest inspection for the day, thank badness."

He gave a sigh as he noticed there was a sign. Then a voice could be heard. "I am the wayfinder, and it means finding your way and not finding your way. Well, I supposed this is an official welcome to Tulgey Woods, where you'll find everything and of course nothing at all. First things first, I supposed you'd like to level up a bit, and collect these rare sort of fragments. Well, not a problem at all, not a problem. Let's see... hm... yes... I do think some exploration is due. Do be a dear and examine five trees around you. Keep in mind, trees are very shy, yes some are shy indeed, and some are just too noisy those trees, full of surprises. Raleigh believed it would be an excellent idea to actually wander around to see if he could find any clues as to what was going on. His ears perked up as he noticed a tiny tree. For something so small, something delicate, he felt compelled to see if any harm had come to it. "Guess what I'm hiding!" the tiny tree spoke as Raleigh had become eye level with it. He was a bit startled, but felt like talking with it. "What might you be hiding? A map or some sort of magic?" He asked with a light chuckle. "I'm hiding something in my mouth!"It seems an item was sticking out of it mouth. "Why thank you!" Raleigh said as he put the fragment into his pocket. Stopping in front of a tree for a light breather, but became startled from a voice. More like a set of teeth talking to the ghost deer. "You seem a little lost..." It spoke as it moved around the branches. " But you need not worry. Mostly everyone here is lost.I hope you find your way though..." Spoke the teeth, but vanished before Raleigh could speak. After leaving behind the tree that had a set of teeth that talked, Raleigh took a breather for a moment before walking around the forest again. He heard what sounded to be crying. It was a broken tree, "I'm so sad. So very sad..." It weeped as it looked around. "Can you help me find my glasses?" It asked as it looked at him. "If you give me a few minutes, I can help you search for them" Raleigh said with a smile. Raleigh stopped in his tracks when he reached a lovely willow tree. He slowly got closer and closer to see it's beauty. The tree noticed him and began to swat at him with it's leaves. Lycania looked around with interest. This was a new part of the world she wasn't familiar with. Looking upward the branches of the trees twisted and twined around each other. All kinds of smells were around the area too, it would seem this area had been fairly busy and still was busy. Not only that but it was incredibly dark... good thing she had wolf eyes or she would have been stumbling all over the place. "Hmm." Gold eyes narrowed with interest while walking around with no general purpose other than to explore. "Wonder what I can do here." Before she could notice anything was wrong, it was too late. A tree branch snapped forward and coiled around her waist. Looming over it let out a screech that was so unpleasant Lyca could have sworn it made her poor wolf ears bleed. The second tree is a wide tree and doesn't look too happy to see you. It crosses its arms. "I don't think so, the last people who were here were terribly mean about it. Terribly, terribly mean and it just won't do anymore. If you come any closer I will have to resort to violence I mean it! Don't come any closer!" "How rude!" Lyca growled at the trees. "I was just walking around minding my own business and this is what i get! Let me down and I will come no further... I don't want to anyways now, its boring." She sneered before the tree let go. Lyca landed on her feet gracefully and wandered away. There were better things to do. 1/5 Enjoying the view, Feytouched had decided to come back here and actually look around, finding himself in front of a rather large tree. He blinked a few times before reaching forward to search in its cavity, but recoiled when it started to speak to him. "No, you don't want to touch me... I haven't even cleaned myself. Please come back later." The hatter colored, tipped his hat down and left, but when he came back in a few minutes... the tree was gone. 2/5 Shrugging and walking onward, Feytouched found a rather nice stump to sit on, using it to glance around at the area. It was a quaint place surrounded by trees, some spiraled and swirled around each other while others seemed a bit farther in the distance. 3/5 Blinking slowly and not really seeing much of anyone else, Feytouched took a moment longer to rest his legs, patting the stump in an appreciative gesture. It was too few of times that he got to rest, and it brought him back to when he first entered the game. He still appreciated everything.
