The lights swung around as Atomica and her "band" took the stage, and in a flickering moment Vinnie spotted Perry slouched into a corner with some will o'whisp. Her tentacles curled up to her ears as she slinked over to him."There you are!" She hooked her arm into his, yanking him from the wall and onto the dance floor. "I've been waiting all night to dance with you again!"

Jewels looked up at Automica's annoucement.
"Marceline's here?" She looked to Rory and grinned. "She made it! " She clapped her hands together, clearly pleased.
She looked down at Kai's voice, eyes wide.
"I... I... " She looked unsure, but extended a hand to him and rose from her throne. "yes.. o.. of course!"
She looked back to Rory and giggled.
Well, this was likely the closest she'd ever get to the boo, may as well take the opportunity.
She descended from the podium and joined the dancers.

Meme smiled as Ronan finally made his way to the table.
"Oh?" She made a confused noise, rather puzzled as the automaton ghoul they played monster-Buckaroo on at their last creepover jumped up onto stage and began shouting other monsters to join her.
''This next song is officially 'SWAP PARTNERS' time! Do you hear me, Monster High?!" Atomica screeched into the microphone.
"What's going on..?" Meme asked and looked back to Ronan.
"I'm.. I'm, uh, sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to freak out like that." She frowned up at him.

"Vinnie! uh.. hi.. I can explain but um.. " He let her drag him, no sense fighting. Change partners!" Sorry... looks like we gotta switch, save the next dance ok?"
He deftly turned and extended one hand to the first ghoul who happened to be near him. Demona. "May I have this dance?"

Rory looked up from what had been an increasingly glum conversation with himself - where was Marceline, why hadn't mother sent her along, were they talking about him, did those stories about him and the malt-o-meal come out - and heard Jewels tell him Marceline had finally arrived!
"Yes! Where is she?" He asked, getting to his feet just in time to see her climb up on stage and grab her aggoredian. Rory pouted. "Aw."
Then he heard the announcement of partner-swapping. Oh, dear....that sounded dangerous...

Vinnie crossed her arms and huffed a sigh as Perry partnered off with that ditzy demon model ghoul... Left stranded again.
But wait! This was a partner swap! Vinnie leered around the dance floor until her eyes fell upon the shiny Tombcoming King, staring crestfallen at the stage. Perfect, she grinned, marching over to him and clamping her claw on his shoulder.
"You! Shiny-boo!" She barked. "Let's dance!"

He nodded to Meme, looking relieved that she was back and didn't seem to be angry or miserable or anything.
"I was concerned I had upset you. And I am sorry if that is the case. It was not my intention." He shook his head at her question.
"I have no idea, something about.. .dancing and swapping partners... "
Oh dear, out of the corner of his eye he noticed two figures approaching.
"I um.." before he could say anything more Bridget the troll grabbed him by one hand and dragged him toward the dance floor, leaving Meme facing a jet skinned, four limbed naga boo.
He grinned, bowed sinuously and extended one of his hands while removing his hat with another.
"Jus' one dance, then i'll see ye' returned tae ye boo." He promised. Hopefully this one wouldn't pelt him in the face with a drink.

"No, you didn't upset me! I was just.. flabbergasted." She said slowly but before she could elaborate, Ronan was swept away by a troll lady and Meme was left alone with a naga boo.
He seemed polite enough and she tipped her hat in response.
"As long as you don't mind dancing with somemonster who has the coordination of.. well, a clown!" She smiled and adjusted her monocle nervously.
"And I'm not his ghoulfriend.." She stated and accepted his hand.
"Aye, lassy. O' course ye not.." The Naga said sarcastically and they took to the dancefloor.

Ronan focussed hard on not treading on the troll ghouls feet, but it wasn't easy and more than once she did yelp as he misstepped. He spent most of the dance apologising.
Nathair grinned broadly and swept Meme onto the dance floor. Hey, she danced like a clown, he had no feet!
"So lass, what's the deal with ye.. not boofriend then?" He obviously didn't believe her that they weren't dating, but he was curious and more than a little nosy.

He tipped his hat slightly and gently spun her.
"Having a good night?"
Hey, maybe this switching partners thing wasn't such a bad idea.
He glanced across at Vinnie trying to get Rory to dance with her. Poor guy, that girl was a determined one, he'd give her that. He actually felt guilty, he'd have to make things right with her later on, once he'd worked up the courage to endure what he believed to be her inevitable wrath.

Kai glanced over at Demona. Looks like it hadn't taken long for one of the football players to glom onto her glam. Kai took Jewels' hands in his and twirled her around."Your dance card's gonna be full tonight! Glad I managed to get one congratulatory dance in with you."
