If you're going to talk like that, at least make it a little more epic!<" The Steelix rumbled, sounding less then enthusiastic as he watched the Excadrill coming right at him ">My heart didn't even skip a beat!<" Genn sounded more disappointed then anything else. He wanted a fight that got his black blood pumping, where the adrenaline went at full throttle.
His tail twisted deep beneath the earth. This impact better be good, or else this battle was rather significantly doomed to be as dull as his previous battles.
Raven would have been disappointed in the attitude of the Steelix...would have warned him to not let his guard down...but there was a significant problem....the child couldn't even see the battle. Genn was blocking the path so completely, Raven wasn't even certain as to what was actually happening!((....well I'll be a Monkey's Uncle...))

(8 - 5) + (9 - 9) = 3 + 2 = 5 /2 = 2.5 (round) 3 DMG
Despite the efforts of Animus, the savage blades of the Pawniard would tear deep into the Nidorino's hide. This was a battle for truth...a battle of convictions...a battle Animus so far, was losing.
Once more the Pawniard would stand on the defensive. This fight would draw to a close soon at this rate...

Linbergh and Burnout would look to one another, then simply nod, following after Jasmine, it seemed strange to watch the bat-like Lindbergh, the rest of her body had grown, but her feet had stayed the same size since her evolution, it left her hopping, but more often than not using her tail rather than her feet for moving.
As for Burnout, the Arcanin- errr, Lampent would float simply beside Jasmine.
Jasmine just kept moving, if she was having any trouble, she didn't hint it yet, as she would crutch along just fine with one, her new braces, she was getting a chance to work those legs slowly but steadily now.
And they were far more comfortable than any pair the orphanage or mines ever created, she'd still need a break somewhere to get rid of any excess sand that rubbed against her stockings, but that aside, she kept going rather happily to get a walk going again,
[We had best work on a stratagem before we encounter this Joltik by the way...] Burnout finally spoke up as Lindbergh continued hopping.
[Strategy-schm... schtrategy! I told you already, I got enough power to smack this bug around and probly squash it too!]
[Regardless of typing, we currently do not know the pokémon's level.] Burnout would point out rather moodily. [Not to mention, the number we face.]

Burnout's flame touched back and forth angrily, before he shook his head, let them at least meet the other Spinarak... or meet their opponent and then decide... for now he saw now ay of switching Lindbergh's feelings...
And Jasmine, as they would reach the crevice, would blink, the greenery matched that of her lush green cloak as she peered through, then nodded to the Spinarak.
"Okay... we'll make sure to tread lightly... but is there anything we should be wary of..?"
One of her cutches reached out, as she would step forward into this strange and secluded section of the desolate crater...
((...Ho damn.))

((Yes ...yes you are, and now the Excadrill is confused .....but since there was no effort to avoid ...I have no clue what to right. Simply it didn't go through ..seems so ..disappointing))
Though the pokemon's fist would slam down with no results whatsoever. The hardness of steel didn't break underneath his pound, and he had to admit that this was a first.
Yet he would say nothing of that effect as he simply jumps backwards and back upon his own paws. His own delusions seemed to grow more and more real by the moment as his eyes seemed to swirl with his confusion.
Though yes, he held his ground for whatever attack might be coming towards him.

Though there wasn't much more that he could do ...his convictions were flawed. He knew it, he knew his reasoning was wrong, but what other choice did he have? He could surrender his life ....he could take hers, but, what he wanted was his mate back.
The chance at the life the girl had taken as he looked confused for once on what to do.
Yet, that confusion wouldn't last long as Victoria actually gave the call this time.
"USE PECK AGain." "Aim your attack for the pokemon's leg."
It seemed a weak suggestion, but Animus would turn and direct his attack towards that point.

A low scream of Jooooooo was the only warning that would get as they were literally ambushed from above. The Spinarak that had managed to scurry through ahead would be faced by two Joltiks while three would down from above at Jasmine and her group. Another two would be at the rear of the cervice ...as the group would literally find themselves pin in that area ...with each pokemon firing off it's own special move. Though it wasn't aimed at the group themselves but the rocks above them ...as they seek to tumble it down upon them.

Tsuki the Lunar Wind (injury count 2/5. What happens to my character if it goes all the way?) ((Faints and wakes up missing either items or newly caught pokemon))
Though this time the pokeball would smack the Ponyta in the chest. She was caught completely off guard as she felt her body pulled inside and she was quickly turned into a red light. Jasmine would look up at once as the rocks came at them, there was little time to think... she was blocking the way, Burnout could possibly meld through the solid rock, but Lindbergh-
Lindbergh!
The girl thought and thought fast, looking back to the Gliscor, before suddenly pointing up in command, "Lindbergh, use Stealth Rock!"
The Gliscor instantly caught the plan, cackling madly as she thrust her claws upward... normally she'd manipulate rocks and plant them in the ground to lay a trap... now... she would take these rocks out of the air, and thus be burying them safely, before they could strike the three of them!
[You know my speciality, I gotta give you that Jasmine!]
And thus, as her eyes shone over, the deep yellow now glowing an eery full light, the rocks now falling toward them would waver in the air, caught by her power as she cried out, thrusting the rocks backward.
If this worked right... not only would they save themselves... but they were about to give the devious little Joltik devils something to think about as well!
[You know what they say about throwing rocks and sinners!]

After passing the pokemon, Jade was wondering what they would run into next. This forest was strange... but at least no other pokemon had laid any traps. The boy looked kind of happy and a little relaxed. He wondered if they would find any berries around. Should he try shaking some trees? That might result in angry pokemon attacking...Nyx continued to prance along, his head held high. The golden rings continued to glow as he walked. The Umbreon glanced around once, not really worried about what was going to happen next. When a pokemon would appear, it would appear. There was no point in rushing the inevitable.The Zangoose was still on high alert. If the Tangela had been that strong, then there were probably others stronger out there. He flexed his claws, growling slightly. His next battle, he would prove that he wasn't weak. Nope, nothing spotted yet. He had taken to glancing around the trees and bushes trying to figure out which ones were likely to actually bear fruit. Again, nothing. He shrugged, wondering why he couldn't find any berries. Was he not looking hard enough? Did they grow on trees or bushes? Or maybe all the pokemon around here knew what season they were ripe and had picked them all and stored it away. He sighed, disappointed at his bad luck. Well he could just keep trying but... At this time, he kind of missed having Namiko out. Though the grass was good to walk on, it would still be a strain for the large water dinosaur. No, he wouldn't bring her out to walk with him. He wasn't that selfish. Besides he did have two pokemon out, though neither seemed to be paying any attention to him.. THough it wasn't as well thought out as she might have hoped. The move had to be summoned ...and it seemed instead of coming from the sides it was trying to come from the ground. Though there wasn't any room for it ....as the rocks would only come up enough to keep the stones from crashing squarely on them, but it wouldn't do much to stop them from being sealed inside. The group would be pin ...to the ground ....so tight that they couldn't move ...as the rocks hid their fate from the Joltiks.
Though the fate of the Spinarak would be known as the small bug type would push her rear against the same stones that kept her from escaping.

One Joltik asks the other, and then there was a big grin as he would reply back.
((Die gleiche Sache tun wir, um alle Spinarak, die versucht zu entkommen.))
Another would then change his view.

He didn't think twice on that subject ...dig them out.

The bug would declares as he would scamper away.

Six and Snover have been encountered by three pokemon that tried to rob him.
Only two of those muggers actually got something from him. The first one, well technically few, were Scraggy. Were they trying to mug him?
Well anyway Six was getting tired of this. Couldn't he just fight one pokemon that didn't try to rob him and for once in his life have luck on his side and catch a pokemon without having to worry about failing?
No, apparently after what he had been through all his luck had been used up with the battle with the Vullaby. It had gone a while with neither of them taking damage, until Snover had defeated the Vullaby in one blow. That was all his luck right there.
*sigh* "I just want this mission to be over with already..."
All he had to do was find a stone and capture a second pokemon. Even though he has a second pokemon, he would be pretty sure that wouldn't count.
Probably should've let that Purrloin take my life....

Good he wanted it that way. After what just happend.
Then again he did need to catch a second pokemon.
This mission had started off weird with the group of Scraggy.
Then came that wierd Scraggy that posed as a superhero.
Man, how Six had wished he could've captured that Scraggy.
If he did, he would be taking down those bandit pokemon Six had encountered.

Not a berry in sight. Oh well, the boy guessed all the pokemon had taken them. Shrugging, he continued forward. For some reason, it looked like the territory changed, not too far away. He then sped up his pace. This island sure was strange. It made him think back to the Mirage Island. They were similar but different at the same time. But so far he hadn't even gotten the item he needed to get. He guessed it wouldn't be in this forest.
