[Tigerfang looked up from cleaning herself, realizing that Lavenderrain had called a Clan meeting. She licked the last drop of blood from her claws,
and tried to clean the blood coming from her eye. She did the best she could, but still felt blood trickling down her cheek. She shrugged off the pain and padded beneath the Shadowstone,
sitting down and curling her tail around her legs. She sat up straight, and focused her gaze stoically forward, ready to hear what Lavenderrain had to say.]

 Lavenderrain Lavenderrain took a deep breath, then began. "Fathom has left NightClan. If he is found on NightClan territory, you are to rip him to shreds. Do anything you must. he must not be allowed to harm any cat. I want the patrols doubled. I want two cats on guard each night. One warrior stationed at the nursery. Apprentices are to train harder. We must face Fathom sooner than later, or he'll think he can overthrow NightClan. And, as for Darkshadow... He is a prisoner. He was not welcomed into NightClan. He has proved he is a traitor. We will not kill him- we are not cold-blooded murderers. He will stay in the abandoned elders' den, with a warrior on guard. He is confined to camp, as a prisoner," Lavenderrain announced, getting the discussion out of the way. She sighed and began again.
"The time has come to appoint a new deputy. I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice. Foxfur will be the new deputy of NightClan," Lavenderrain yowled, then carefully made her way back down from the Shadowstone.
((I'll do Purekit's and Richkit's apprentice ceremony soon. =w = I'ma let them have their fun in the nursery with Leopardstorm and her kits for a little longer. ^^))

"I-uh, thanks," Shatteredfang stuttered, feeling her ears grow red. She nodded, taking the mouse. She motioned Darkshadow to follow her to the Shadowstone. She sat down next to Darkshadow, taking a small bite out of her mouse. She looked at the gray tabby, pushing the mouse to him. "Want a bite?" she asked.
A voice laughed in her head. Why are you being so nice to him? It asked, curiosity overlaying its triumpant sounding voice.
I-I don't know. He's sweet, she thought.
You like him, it jeered.
Shatteredfang let out an inward sigh. Well, maybe I do, she decided. Either way, he probably doesn't like me back.
Hahaha, the voice laughed hysterically. That's hilarious, you blind she-cat. Did you see how that goon was looking at you? Have you payed attention to how he acts toward you at all?
Shatteredfang smirked. You're right, she thought tiredly. She looked up at Lavenderrain, curiosity sparking in her eyes. Why was she calling the Clan together? Suddenly, realization hit her. A deputy had to be chosen before moonhigh.

[Shatteredfang felt anger seethe through her as Lavenderrain mentioned that Darkshadow was a prisoner. She felt the anger rise as she announced Foxfur was deputy. She let out a slight hiss. The tom had always gotten under her pelt. She felt a growl rise in her throat. Why had she chosen that thing as deputy?
Shatteredfang swirled her head around, searching for his ginger colored pelt. She didn't find it. She growled. "Oh, what do you know. He isn't here to celebrate," she muttered, standing up. She muttered a few curses under her breath before padding out of camp. She haad to calm down before she started yowling at cats.

Hmm...I wonder when I'll have an apprentice. Maybe Purekit will be my apprentice. Ah, who knows...I'll probably
scare an apprentice of I had one. she thought sadly and bitterly.

DARKSHADOW "Friendship isn't important anymore." [Darkshadow thought for a moment. Maybe, he should guard the camp at night? If Fathom did attack... He would most likely die. But he really didn't care. He would rather defend this clan than Seaclan. He knew he had to prove it. And with Foxfur as deputy. Well, Foxfur suspected he was a fake the whole time. But all he had done was attack an apprentice during a battle. He got up, looking for Shatteredfang. When he found her, he walked up to her.]"Hey... I uh... Wanted to talk to you." [He said.]"You sort of looked upset when Lavenderrain announced Foxfur was deputy."

((Of course! Right when I decide to go to sleep, the ceremony happens! -.- Oh well. He's deputy!!! YAY!! ^^. Thanks guys! Alsho, I'm goign to my cabin in a few, so don't expect me to reply till Sunday))
[Foxfur smiled, and was about to tell Conderwing he'd continue helping him when he heard Lavenderrain's call. He padded back into camp and sat down as the Clan meeting was called.
His heart raced as he heard his leader talk about he deputy.
Could....could it be me? Foxfur wondered excitedly.
His Ginger body froze in antcipation, and his heart nearly stopped when his name was called.
Did she just say my name?]
[Willowheart jumped on him]
"Conratulations!!" she mewed happily.
[Willowheart was so proud of her best friend]
[Foxfur grinned and pushed her off, his brown eyes glowing.
He padded up to Lavenderrain, dipping his head]
"Lavenderrain... I...well... Thank you. I'll do the best I can"

Lavenderrain Lavenderrain nodded at Foxfur. "I know you will," Lavenderrain mewed. She turned and padded toward Darkshadow and Shatteredfang, her purple eyes narrowed at the tom. "You are not a member of NightClan. You were not welcomed here. Fathom made a mistake in letting you stay. You're dangerous. You're not to set paw out of this camp and youwill eat what my warriors bring you. I saw what you did in the battle, and every SeaClan cat agreed you were traitorous. And I take Mosstar's word over your own. You'd better watch your pawsteps, Darkshadow," Lavenderrain warned, her purple eyes locked on his face. She turned to Shatteredfang and let her face soften. "Shatteredfang. Please understand that you're already one of my senior warriors, even though you weren't chosen for deputy. It was indeed a very hard decision," Lavenderrain explained, then dipped her head to the she-cat, but flicked her tail warningly at the tom. She turned and padded to the fresh-kill pile, still limping slightly on her wrenched paw. She grabbed a mouse and a frog, and quickly devoured the frog. She padded into the nursery, trying to stifle an amused purr as she watched Leopardstorm bumble about with Purekit and Richkit on her back. She dropped the mouse at her feet, and watched silently, making sure no one saw her. She wanted her kits to have fun. They could always eat later. My sweet little darlings.... Think of how much fun they'll have with Leopardstorm's kits. She looks nearly due, Lavenderrain thought fondly.

DARKSHADOW "Friendship isn't important anymore." [Darkshadow turned and looked at Lavenderrain. He was about to throw a fit when he decided to stay cool. He dipped his head in respect.] "Yes, I understand... But.. I wanted to apologize.. To Seaclan.. And Rainpaw too.. And to all of you... I lied.. And I know what I did.. I regret it now." [He said. He knew they probably wouldn't forgive him. He tricked Nightclan into battle with Seaclan which caused the other two clans to come. He looked at his paws in shame.]

[Shatteredfang sighed, twitching her ears.] "I-uh, it's nothing," she meowed. [When Lavenderrain spoke to her, she nodded.] "No, no, it's quite fine," she meowed, bowing in respect. [She sighed, sitting down. You shouldn't have gotten your hopes high, she thought tiredly. She looked back down at her paws. That Foxfur would have to watch his back.
Shatteredfang felt a sudden stab in her jaw, making her wince. She would have to see Hauntedheart later about it.]

[Foxfur smiled, warmth filling him. I'm the new deputy!
He glanced warily at Lavenderrain as she told Darkshadow off. Foxfur was proud of himself for not believing the tom's lies when he first arrived in SeaClan.
Foxfur looked at Shatteredfang, his tail twitching. He knew she had wanted to be deputy, but how badly?
He padded over to the fresh-kill pile and quickly chose a frog, padding over to a shady spot to eat his food]

[Eaglesoar had been busy licking his gashes on his shoulder when Lavenderrain called a clan meeting. He had not bothered going to Hauntedheart, knowing that she was probably busy with all the injured cats. He lifted his head and listened intently as Lavenderrain claimed that Fathom has left Nightclan, and that Foxfur was now the new deputy. Even though he knew that it was probably the right thing to do, his loyalty to the warrior code left him doubting. After all, Fathom technically still was the leader, since he was not dead yet, and Lavenderrain was still the deputy. Eaglesoar chose not to openly question her authority, but in his heart he knew that he still held some reservation.
He turned around to head towards the nursery, thinking that it would be a good idea to pay Leopardstorm a visit and to see if she was settling in alright. After all, they had been friends when they were kits and apprentices. As he ducked down and pushed his muscular frame through the shelter of brambles, he twitched his whiskers in amusement as he saw Leopardstorm tutoring young Purekit.]
"You know, you're supposed to be resting when you're nearing kitting."
[Eaglesoar shook his head in mock exasperation, heaving an exaggerated sigh. He looked down at Purekit on the ground, his lips pulled back into a threatening snarl as he lowered his massive body, so to appear not as threatening to the kit.]
"So, Purekit, I'm an enemy clan warrior and I just invaded your camp. What're you going to do about that?"
[Eaglesoar snarled, a mouse-tail length away from Purekit's face, the kit appearing tiny beside the large boned warrior.]
((Btw Leo, is it ok if I say Eagle and Leopard are good friends? Cuz I think they're about the same age so they should have been apprentices together...)) --------------------------------------------------x x x "xxsoaring through the sky

DARKSHADOW "Friendship isn't important anymore." [Darkshadow lifted his head up. He was feeling a little tired.] " Would someone please show me where the abandoned elders den is? I would like to rest.." [His eyes wide open. Not angry like eyes like he use to have. Just open eyes. He looked over at Shatteredfang. Hoping she would show him where it was so he could talk to her for once. A warrior did have to be on guard watching him.]
