If it collapsed, and the universe still exists... then it will expand once more.
I am unsure as to how that would have occurred, but if MK was the reason, then we have great trouble on our hands.

Ah nonsense. There is as much evil in her heart as ours now. She could prove very useful, having once been entirely on the other side...
Her connection with death might also be useful, if you believe MK to have died.
