"First he's gotta get a hold of her," Kasiya retorted, knowing very well he was right. "Shocker! Use Flash!" she cried, and shielded her eyes as the Pikachu released a blinding glare of light in front of the Raichu's face. He rubbed his eyes furiously and lashed out with his tail, trying to hit the Pikachu. "Double Team!" Kasiya cried, trying to make her Pikachu as difficult to hit as possible. Shocker complied and split into several copies, surrounding the Raichu. Not knowing which one to try and hit, he blasted a Thunderbolt at two of them, making them both vanish. Shocker used that opportunity to hit him from the side with a powerful Slam attack, and dashed off again.
"You're just wasting time," Surge sneered. "Use Thunderbolt again!" Raichu let its wild electricity fly again, this time eradicating the rest of the clones. It now had its sights set directly on Shocker, its cheeks blaring with sparks.

Nina became nervous. "Gah!" she said, "Shocker can't keep this up forever! Attack while you have the chance!"
"Chaaan sii!" Angel cried, becoming worried as well.

Shocker can't keep this up forever, Kasiya thought desperately as Raichu blasted a Thunderbolt in Shocker's direction. The Pikachu darted out of the way just in time. Time to pull an ace out of my sleeve, she thought. "Shocker! Attract!" Kasiya called. Shocker smiled sweetly at the Raichu and gave it a little wave. It's face became a little flushed, and it gave Shocker dopey grin. "Now Double Team!" she nearly screamed. Shocker split again, surrounding the now love-struck Raichu.
Kasiya wasn't sure, but she thought she heard her father muttering. "Aw Bugger...Raichu! Snap out of it!" Surge cried, waving his arms. "Use Thunderbolt!" Raichu just looked over at him, blinked, and looked back at Shocker, and didn't attack.
"Alright! Parattraction!" Kasiya said, refraining from doing a pre-victory dance. "Now's your chance Shocker! Slam it! Give it everything you've got!"
"Chuuu!" Shocker cried, throwing as much strength into the attack she could muster. Raichu shook its head at her, the affects of attraction working in Shocker's favor. However, it wasn't beaten yet.

Nina laughed when she saw Kasiya's strategy, and called out, "Come on Kasiya, you can do it! After doing that, there's no way you can lose!"

It should take much to knock him out now, Kasiya thought, watching Raichu. The effects of the attraction and being paralyzed were severely debilitating, his movements and actions were slow and very easy to predict. Surge kept yelling for it to use Thunderbolt, but it seemed like he never heard his trainer.
"Shocker! Get in there with another Slam!" Kasiya cried. Shocker dashed in, ready to attack.
"THUNDERBOLT!" Surge was yelling loudly, the veins on his neck and forehead throbbing with fury. Raichu seemed to get its composure back momentarily for it locked eyes with Shocker, frowned, and blasted her with a bolt of electricity. Shocker cried out, her attack missing completly. She clambered to her feet, her teeth grit. She looked angry.
"Try it again!" Kasiya yelled. "Take him out!" Shocker let out a growl of sorts, and dashed in, throwing every thing she had into hitting that Raichu. She barreled into him at top speed, sending them both skidding across the smooth floor. Shocker jumped up, her cheeks flaring, panting. Raichu struggled to its feet, noticibly shaking.
"KA CHUUU!!" the Pikachu screamed, squeezing her cheeks as hard as she could. Electricity spurted out in all directions, most of which bounced off the walls and disipatted harmlessly into the environment, but several struck Raichu, and he fell, this time not getting back up. Shocker shot a smug look at Surge, then looked back at her trainer and winked.
"We...did...it...?" Kasiya asked questioningly, as Shocker then bounded over to her and leaped into her arms, knocking them both to the ground. The excited Pikachu blasted them both with happy Thundershocks, making the girl's hair stand on end. "WE DID IT!" she cried, leaping to her feet (static waves still rippled through her) and she hugged Shocker tightly. "You are amazing," she said. Shocker looked up at her, grinning from ear to ear. I know, the Pikachu thought happily.

From Nina's throat exploded a cheer. "All right, Kasiya! You beat him!!" she nearly screamed, jumping to her feet. She ran over to her friend, being followed by Sabrina, Regal, Anna, and Mihoshi.
She held her hand down to Kasiya to help her up, wearing a smile.

((That was such a long battle for one on one... sweatdrop ))
Doing the best to smooth her now frizzled hair, Kasiya saw Nina and everyone rushing over. There were hugs all around (and some of that random electricity gave some people a nice zap) and Shocker, in her excitement, started leaping from head to head, giving everyone a slight tingle of electricity to show her affection. Kasiya looked around the gym for her father, and saw that he stood with his back to the celebrating group. He was looking at the floor, his Raichu next to him. Kasiya stepped forward, swallowing the lump in her throat.
"Dad?" she asked quietly, and he turned around.
To her surprise, there were tears in his eyes, and he was holding a small, wrinkled photograph. He beckoned for her to come over, and showed her. It was a very old picture of her as a baby, sitting with her mother. "I've been carrying this for nearly sixteen years," he admitted, putting it back in one of his pockets. "When your mother sent this to me, I promptly resigned my position and came back home. I just couldn't bear being away anymore."
"Things are better now," Kasiya said softly, and hugged her dad. He held her tight, for a few moments, then let go.
"You've earned this," he said, handing her a shining Thunder Badge. "Wear it proudly, you hear? It's your hometown badge." He also gave her a golden colour disc - a TM for Thunderbolt, and her prize money. "The things I said during the battle...I didn't really mean any of it, you know?" he said as she pinned the badge on the inside of her jacket, to the left, below the Boulderbadge.
"Of course," she said, then turned a bit red. "I'm sorry if I sounded all arrogant and stuff," she said sheepishly.
"At least I know where you get it from," he chuckled, and father and daughter shared a hearty laugh.

Nina and Sabrina smiled as they watched Kasiya and Lt. Surge sharing a "moment." Nina turned to her sister and said, "One of these days, you're going to be pinning a badge on me." She smiled, and Sabrina chuckled a little bit.
"It's something that I am more than looking forward to," she said, and flashed Nina a smile.

It was late afternoon when Tony finally woke up. Groaning sleepily he sat up and wondered out to where Nurse Joy was busy dealing with pokemon he asked where his were and went over to them picking them up and grabbing some food to feed them and himself and went back to his room still half asleep. When he made it to the room he released his pokemon from there balls and plopped down on the bed munching on dry cereal and tossing three bags of pokemon food to his pokemon. "You guys need to open it yourself today I dont feel much like doing anything today." He muttered and his pokemon looked at him in dismay.
Ignoring there food for the moment they went over to there lazy trainer, Phoenix and Weed jumping on the bed and Alucard landing on the pillow. All of them shared a glance and came up with a silent truce that would last as long as it took to get there lazy trainer out of bed.
"Tor! Torchick!" Phoenix cried in his ear which caused Tony to pull the covers over his head and ignore her. Which lead Weed to jump on his bed in an attempt to wake him up. Unfortunatly that didn't really work. It finally took Alucard to bite Tony's hand that was holding the pillow above his head to get him up and actually changing into real clothing.

"Well I could always do some training with Nightmare." Mitsu said. She was planning on using him for two of Wattson's Pokemon. She wandered into Route 117 and immediatly a trainer challeneged her.
"I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!" He shouted.
"Your on!" She replied. "Let's make it three on three!"
"Fine!" He said as he tossed out his Pokeball containing an Electrike. The green and yellow Pokemon howled and bared it's fangs, obviously ready for battle.
She left a ball loose. And Nightmare came bursting out. Roaring louded than the Electrike.

"You must be stupid to send out a Water type agasint Electrike!" The boy sneered. "Spark!" He shouted taking the first move.
"Nightmare doge that!" She counted. The massive size of the Pokemon didn't help and he was shocked from head to tail. Nightmare took double the damage due to it's duel Flying Water type. "Quick Nightmare finish it off with an Earthquake!" She shouted.
The sea serpant brought up it's tail and sung it down with great speed causing the ground to shake under the Pokemon. The minature Earthquake and knocked out the Pokemon.
"You may have defeated Electrike, but let's see how you do againt my Nuzleaf!" He shouted after returning the Electrike Pokemon to it's Pokeball. He then threw out another one and a brown Pokemon with a leaf atop it's head popped out.

((Evening, Mitsu! <3 How''d you like the Father/Daughter gym clash??))
A second round of hugs followed as Kasiya proudly showed off her three gym badges. The electrical display above the gym hadn't yet been shut off either, like it usually was after Surge had suffered a loss. Instead, he''d turned it up full blast, and strode around with Kasiya under his arm, making sure everyone knew she was his daughter.
It was starting to get late, and the groans of several stomachs could be heard from several people, so it was decided that anyone who was hungry was invited out for pizza.

Mike and Titanium's head perked up at the mention of food, and they quickly dashed off to the Pokemon Center. "I just need to heal my Pokemon, be right back!"

"Let's get things started shall we?" Mitsu said this time taking the first move. It was going to be the first and last for round two. "Flamethrower!" She yelled. A stream of magma hot fire was sweped from Nightmare's mouth and onto the small Nuzleaf. The fire died down and the Nuzleaf was KO-ed.
"You cheated!" He boy yelled recalling his Nuzleaf. "Water pokemon can't learn fire attacks!"
"But Gyrados's can." She said wearing a smirk on her face. "Why don't we finish this?"
"You're going down!" The boy yelled. "I choose you Zangoose!"

Nina's attention perked at the mention of pizza. "Thanks for the invite, you guys! I've been developing a poor habit of skipping meals lately..." She chuckled a little nervously, and Mihoshi fluttered near her head.
