"God, don't kill yourself for me, you idiot," Etna chastised, but there was no heat to her words. "I'm fine now, okay? I just won't be able to use any magic 'til after I get some rest."
"Don't talk like that," Gear chastised, pressing down on a particularly nasty looking cut. "You've got a child with you, and you haven't saved Roy, yet. You don't wanna die, not when that means killing your child and leaving Roy and Bunko alone. Hey, Hotstreak! Come here!"
Hotstreak sighed. "Alright, fine. I probably wouldda done the same-" He was then cut off by Gear. "I don't take orders from you!" he snapped.
"You've got experience cauterizing wounds, and Lum here is dying," Gear called.
Another sigh. "Fine!" the older metahuman relented, walking over. "Oh, damn, she's got some deep cuts... I dunno if I can help them all..."
"Lum, I'm not going to lie, this is going to hurt a lot. Scream, cry, squeeze someone's hand, I don't care, go for it. Heck, screaming might make the people here think that their robots are getting the job done. Ready?"

Marta narrowed her eyes and shoved Minato away. "Go rest. I've got it under control!" She looked over to Oomizu, thankful to see hr there. "Hey! Get Minato away from Etna, would ya? He used a bunch of enegy trying to save her just a moment ago!"
Oomizu had been standing there quietly, hardly breathing and white as a ghost in shock. She had destroyed the ability for the computers to work! None of this should be happening right now! So, why? Had se been that careless? Was this, like several other times, been her fault. She snapped out of her state of shock when Marta called her and ran over, taking a firm grip on Minato and frowning lightly, but yet she seemed extremely tired at the moment. "Go rest, baka. Killing yourself would be pointless. Let one of the other healers handle her. Go."
Kikyo ignored Lum's instructions, continuing to heal. "You have a daughter that will need you once this is all over. Do you honestly want to leave her an orphan once more?" Her words were cold and harsh, but made with a clear point.

Sora ran after Oomizu. He looked at Etna. "Should I use my Cure" he questioned, not sure if it would work or not.

Minato Sighed as he was pulled away by Oomizu "Im glad your ok...." was the only thing he could communicate to Etna via his telepathic persona ablities.

"No, I don't." Lum whispered to both Gear and Kikyo, turning her head to the side as she winced once more before she nodded to Gear. "Do what you must." She told him softly as she closed her eyes.
Hitomi watched Hotstreak walk away before she pulled back, looking down at Kirara. "Come on." She told her.
"Where are we--?"
"We need to help Lum." Hitomi replied quickly, cutting Kirara off as she pulled her to her feet, hissing as she felt a soft of popping sound in her left arm before it went numb. But she didn't pay any attention to it right now before she let her over to Lum's side, kneeling down besides her.
Kirara took Lum's hand with a light smile. "Don't worry Lum-chan, we're here for you.." She whispered with a smile.
Lum took all this with a smile as she nodded. "Thank you Kirara, Hitomi."
Temari stood beside Inuyasha, gripping onto him tightly, scared for the fate of her friend.
Rosette watched on as well, holding her breath out of nervousness.

Oomizu shook her head to Sora. "Marta can handle her, can't ya, Mart?"
Marta looked up to Sora and smiled kindly, nodding softly. "Yeah, I can, but thank you for the offer. I'm sure there are others that need help just as much as Eta. After all, it's like she said, she's tough. She'll be good as new soonish."
Oomizu sighed lightly and nodded, closing her eyes before turning and walking off, mumbling something about being a jinx to the group.
Kikyo simply sighed quietly before taking her hand back. "Does she look like something is out of place? I do not want to continue healing her if something is off."

"Think of where we are; we don't have time to make certain everything is perfectly okay. We'll do as much as we can, as quick as we can, and get the heck outta here before we're caught," Gear replied. "Hotstreak will take care of healing up the more shallow cuts, Kikyo, you take care of the deeper ones that cauterizing won't help. Like I said; as much as we can, as quick as we can."
"When did you grow a pair...?" Hotstreak grumbled, reaching a hand down nonetheless. He knew how much getting burned hurt, but he had to, so he went about burning closed one of the shallower cuts.
Jack, meanwhile, had examined one of the robots. "Oh, so that's the problem!" he declared, going over some data he had just pulled. "These things don't sync up with the main control room! Probably in case people get in there to take over, like we did."
"Look, I don't need any more help!" Enta huffed, mainly directing it towards Marta and Sora. "There's other people hurt, go fuss over hi- them."

Temari looked up to Inuyasha and nodded slowly. "Um, yeah, right Inuyasha." She whispered gently as she held him close to her.
As Kikyo stopped her healing her more deeper wounds, Lum could feel pain reverting back to its more intense state. But even that amount of pain was taken to an entirely new level when Hotstreak began to cauterize some of her more shallower injuries. She screamed loudly, almost shrieking, as she began to thrash about in a violent manner.
"Lum-chan you need to calm down!" Kirara exclaimed, holding her down by her shoulders.
"But it hurts!"
"I know that Lum-chan! But it'll all be over soon if you just stay still..."
"No!"
"Yes!" Hitomi chimed in quickly, looking up to Hotstreak. "You'd better make this fast..."

"Lum, for the sake of the baby, you have got to try and calm down some," Gear stated, wanting to focus her attention on something. "Here, try and get focused on one thing, like all the cracks in the ceiling or whatever. It'll help."
"I'm tryin', I'm tryin'!" Hotstreak insisted, doing his best to only burn what needed to be and not any healthy flesh. "Almost done..."
((Sorry to leave you hangin', but I'm gonna go and take a shower. If I don't do it now, I won't get another chance until tomorrow. Longest I should be is an hour.))

Lum winced once more as she gripped onto Kirara's hand, who didn't mind the pain one bit. She then nodded, heeding Gear's advice with gritted teeth as she looked up to the ceiling, staring at a particular hole in it that one of the robot's caused. She became somehow fascinated with it, which was strange, even for her.
"Good job Lum-chan." Kirara whispered, patting her head lightly.
Hitomi looked over at Hotstreak before she got up and made it over to his side, patting his shoulder lightly. "You're doing very well babe." She encouraged him with a gentle smile.

((Back! My step dad wanted on the computer for a bit.))
Hotstreak continued to seal off wounds, working as quickly and carefully as he could. "Alright, finished," he declared. "They'll still be sore for a while, but at least ya won't bleed to death."
"Okay, Lum, you're going to have to try and take things really easy for a while," Gear instructed, softening now that her life was no longer in immediate danger. "You lost a lot of blood, so you gotta be careful so nothing bad happens to you or your baby, okay?"

Lum shifted her gaze to all those around her. "Thank you." She whispered gently as she looked from Gear, to Hotstreak, and then to Kirara, smiling gently.
Hitomi smiled down at Lum gently before she wrapped her arms around Hotstreak's shoulders, hugging him from behind before she kissed his cheek quickly. "You did really good babe." She told him with a smile.
Kirara giggled as she patted Lum's hand gently. "It's no problem Lum-chan, don't worry about it." She reassured her with a smile.
Lum nodded as she breathed outward deeply, trying to relax a tad more.

"Hey, you would've done the same for any of us, right?" Gear more replied than asked, grinning softly.
Grinning, Hotstreak turned. "How 'bout you? You get hurt too bad anywhere? I know my nose got a little bloody from that kick to the face, but other than that and some bumps and bruises, I'm okay."

Hitomi smirked in response. "Yeah, I can see that." She replied as she moved one hand up to his face, wiping some blood off of the skin of his upper lip. But at the mention of her own injuries, she moved the collar of her shirt to the far left, revealing the rather critical injuries Kirara had inflicted on her. She could tell that her left shoulder had at least been dislocated from the whole ordeal, but she tried to pay no attention to the pain that it was dealing her. If anything, it looked like Kirara's sharp claws just cut through her flesh just like if it were play-dough or something else that was soft and easily shaped. "Yeah, I got hurt bad alright..." She muttered as she moved the cloth back over her injury, sighing as she did so.
Lum smiled, moving a hand to pat Gear's cheek. "You are a great friend. Thank you." She told him with a nod.
Kirara giggled before she reached around and grabbed Gear into a hug, grinning a toothy grin the whole time. "Yup yup! That's our Gear-kun alright!" She exclaimed as she gripped onto him tightly, planting a kiss to his other cheek.
