All of a sudden, torrent of water falls from the sky onto a small 4x4 patch of ground and from it, Jaden rises. He brushes off his shoulders and walks around looking at the contestants, trying estimate who will win and who will lose. Though his looks may be misconstrued as scrutiny.

Kigaku heard his and hs opponent's name called, "Well, Crys, I think thats one of the new students." He thought hard and started to scratch his head, then gasped, "I've met her! It's Erald's sister! Too bad I don't know their elements, I'll have to wait to think of a strategy." He slid his hand in his right hand pocket and checked to see if his "trump card" was there. Kigaku smiled, and walked out of the locker room, with Konna trailing at his feet, and onto the tournament area. He smiled and blushed at once, realizing how many people were there. He waved to the crowd and waited for his opponent to enter. I haven't been this excited for a long time, not since I joined the school. Konna sat by Kigaku's side, content that she has been chosen instead of Kerokero. Even though Kigaku can't keep control of that frog, I'm still happy I was let in. She thought to herself. Kigaku just stood there, beaming, excited that he can fight, legally, against another student.

I got to go now, so we can start this party later tonight.

(Locker, heading into tournament area now. Actually, in the next post.)

Aqua sat in the stands, and waited for the first match to start.
'I wish they'd just get it over with, so us teachers can fight as well.
Still, i wonder if i should go elemental in the fight? Nah, I'll be fine. I've got wings and my two katana's. I'll be fine. plus if they find out I'm quarter elemental, they normally find out I'm also quarter phoenix too. and that leads to some nasty questions and odd looks.'

"Don't worry, I rarely underestimate people, and don't you go underestimating me either." Kigaku said, pulling out his guitar and getting into a stance. Konna glared at the other kitsune and transformed into her battle form. "I'll let you make the first move, as it is polite to." He grinned and fixed his goggles. "but beware, my attacks are unblockable, usually." He shrugged and got into his stance, along with Konna.
(I feel bad now. This thread was at the very bottom before I posted... crying )

ic://Reika nodded as she read who she was fighting in the next match. "HF...wonder what that's stands for..." she whispered to herself as she turned and headed to the arena. When she got there she saw that Kigaku was in the middle of a fight with his opponent. 'Good luck kigaku.' she thought to herself and walked to the edge of a nearby bench and sat down.

Nekavah whistled glumly after he realized he wasn't fighting Reika. "Man I wanted to see my baby sis furious!" he whined and locked his hands behind his head as he walked. He sighed and let go, walking out to the arena. He saw Reika as soon as he walked in. "REIKA BABY DON'T CRY BIG BROTHERS HERE!!!!" He yelled over excitedly and sprinted over to her, nearly killing her in a glomp.

"You IDIOT get off of me!" she screamed furiously and pushed him, forcing him to walk backwards into a wall. "You are NOT my brother." she snarled, thoroughly annoyed. Nekavah smiled and kissed her on the forehead. She stared at him puzzled and punched him in the gut before running off to the other side of the arena. 'What the hell was that?!?!' she asked herself flustered, confused, and ticked. She clutched her head and groaned. 'He's playing with my head' she thought as she shook her head vigorusly. 'Going mad already Reika?' Rossi said as he swooped down and landed on her shoulder. "You're much larger than when I left you Rossi." she said looking up to him, trying to regain her composure. Rossi chuckled and ruffled his feathers. I'm still only a young fledgling. I'll be much bigger soon. She stared at him perplexed. "You mean you're not fully grown yet?" she inquired. 'No I'm not. I'll probably be the size of a gelding when I'm fully grown.' he replied. She thought for a moment. "So when are you fully grown? How long does it normally take?" she finally asked. Rossi ruffled his feathers again. "It depends. The faster I get stronger, the faster I grow." He said. She nodded and turned to watch kigaku fight. 'When do you fight?' Rossi asked her. 'Second match, with HF. I don't know what that stands for though. But we'll find out now wont we?' she replied.
