Peutaiite toco clarinet did i ever say they shouldn't be here? i don't believe i did. i merely mentioned that they're not technically low brass. you're criticizing my intelligence and comments. i won't deny that i criticized yours, but in what way does that entitle you to be a hypocrite? surely you don't believe i will be obligated to listen to you simply because you are "speaking my language"? That's the thing though. You trolled by needlessly criticizing their comment. What does it accomplish by randomly yelling at people because they say they played trombone, IN THE SUB FORUM THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE!!!! I mean, I'd understand if you made a comment like that if the person posted in the French horn forum, but they didn't. I never said I was, "entitled to be a hypocrite" I never even mentioned hypocrites, no one is a hypocrite here, so why'd you even bring it up? Typical. Someone get's proven wrong in an argument and just decides not to read/listen to the comments. you're right, it is very typical of a hypocrite not to realize their own hypocrisy. i mentioned hypocrisy because you, sir, are a hypocrite. sure you claim to have noble intentions, but a hypocrite is a hypocrite. you criticize me in defense of the criticized. because you are entitled to protect those(who didn't even ask for help, i might add) from criticism, i should subsequently be entitle to protect myself, shouldn't i? (since you clearly can't see it, i will point out your hypocrisy. the fact that you are criticizing me for criticizing people is hypocrisy. it's like punching someone in the face because they punched another person in the face.)

You don't seem to understand.
Why did you comment in the first place? The sole purpose of the comment was to point out a mistake, which is probably all you do in this guild. (Because EVERY SINGLE time I've seen you comment on something, it's been calling someone stupid for not thinking the same thing as you) So you probably came in here going, "heh heh heh.... where can I find a mistake so I can jump on it like a vulcher!"
Me: "la la la la la, hey! Toco Clarinet commented on a low brass sub forum... I've seen him around, he doesn't play low brass does he?" *Being interested, clicks* *Reads comments* "Oh, that's not very nice, I have to protect these people. I've seen that guy argue, it can get ugly!" *Comments*
So there is the difference. You're comment was deliberately to criticize, mine was not.

You're comment was deliberately to criticize, mine was not. do you realize it didn't get ugly until you came in and made a big deal out of it ^_^. thank you, you made my day. yes, that is precisely what i do smile i love pointing out the errors of others. sometimes they take it in stride, and we become friends. at other times, they have a big freak out and they hate me forever. still other times, they ignore it because that's the intelligent thing to do. who wants to be a friend with me, and who wants to get into a big retarded flame war on the internet? no one. so the smart thing to do is ignore it biggrin . and as a matter of fact, i can play trombone, baritone(not the sax) and tuba. i can't play it PROFICIENTLY at a level i would be proud to perform on. but i can play them. i can make sound, i can read the notes and hit the correct pitches. smile i just don't play them at the same level as my clarinet and saxophone.

Uhmm... Way to completely ignore my whole screen play thing. I put work into that. So.... once I proved that I was right and not a hypocrite etc. you decide to change the subject. Typical, just typical. I see it all the time. biggrin

oh now that was incredibly hypocritical. i even let the fact that you completely failed to present even one example of solid evidence that proved you were not a hypocrite slide. i noticed that you changed the subject, but i thought i might be slightly nice for a while and go in the direction you went. if you want me to continue calling you a hypocrite, i shall.
just because you feel justified in your criticism doesn't mean you are. i feel completely justified when i criticize people. that doesn't mean i am, does it? just because you think you are doing people a favor by "defending" them with criticism of your own doesn't mean you are doing a "lesser evil". i feel like i'm doing people a favor when i point out that they have done something wrong. after i point it out, they have the choice to fix it. in my mind, that is help. you don't see it that way, but i do. so then i'm justified in my criticism, if we follow your logic.

It's 11:30 and I have to go to bed.
Haven't read your comment yet. But I'll make sure to later.
Probably won't be on tomorrow either, I have an audition on Monday that I have to prepare for.
Good night.

I love low brass. smile As a bass clarinetist, I've been included in the low brass section for the last few years. It's so much fun being loooooow. A lot of the time I find low brass parts to be more beautiful than high/middle parts.
