"Well we will find them." Rosalyn said with a nod as she removed her hand from his cheek. She fond that having him near was actually quite calming. She didn't mind so much being indoors with him right there. She smiled when she saw him looking at the jacuzzi once more. "Come on, let's get in," she said as she released his hand. She was reluctant to do so because it just sort of felt right to her. She gave a slight shake of her head before she stepped into the jacuzzi and settled down with a soft sigh of relief. Rosalyn looked back up at him. "Come on in."

Kýojin cocked his head, unaware he had been staring at Rosalyn as she had gotten into the Jacuzzi. He blinked when she spoke, realizing she was looking up toward him. He carefully stuck one foot in the water, then the other before shifting, not seeming to notice as his tail unwrapped from his hips as he slowly say down in the hot water.

Rosalyn moved over slightly as Jin entered the jacuzzi. She wasn't at all surprised by his tail unwrapping itself from around his waist. "See, not so bad in here." She allowed herself to relax her back against the edge of the jacuzzi. All was quiet in the building. Everyone was off doing their own thing and even the people who worked her seemed to stay away from this area of the safe house. She had a feeling that Amelia may have had something to do with that. She had sensed the elder witch's intent on giving everyone a break from any unwanted questions. They all needed their time of peace.

Kýojin nodded slightly, thinking. "I do not know if it is part of what I am, but each time I came close to dying, I seemed to come back stronger. The last couple of times, some of the latent mutations kicked in. Though what I've noticed is that the strength increases have hit some sort of wall, and no amount of stress or danger has broken it... Osama had impressive defenses, though they weren't enough," he said quietly, mumbling the last part without seemingly realizing it since the official story was that a SEAL team took the terrorist lord out. It was partially true, of course, though he had been what amounted to little more than a battering ram and meat shield. Getting the near three dozen bullets out had been a pain in the a** since the other soldiers had been ordered to not help or talk to him because officially, he didn't exist... He was the ultimate ghost-assassin.

Kaosujin Ryu bleh...time for bed for me....work a mid shift tomorrow but I am off Saturday! First one I have had off in a long time! Rosalyn had heard things underground about this man that Jin referred to, but it was only in passing. Nobody would tell her anything. The only time someone really spoke to her was to taunt her about her captivity or what they had done to witches they had found. "That is an interesting thing to happen," Rosalyn said as she watched Jin. "I have not heard of anyone getting stronger when they come close to dying."

Alede OOC - Have a nice rest, then, and may Christ watch over you. Kýojin exhaled slowly. "I guess it shows how inhuman I am. I was raised to be a unfeeling weapon... so socially a Nazi would be more welcome and intelligent than I," he sighed. He had his eyes closed, though he sensed clearly that there was a worker out of sight replacing the towels.

"But you are not unfeeling," Rosalyn said as she looked over at him. "You have kept me safe several times and have showed compassion towards my daughter." She moved her head so that she looked at the ceiling. "And you aren't the only inhuman one in the room. I am pure blood demon. We aren't exactly socially accepted by most people. I am just lucky I have such an understanding and loving family here."

Kýojin exhaled. "You have a family where I never have, regardless we will forge our own path. Anyone else can go ******** themselves," he muttered. He shifted in the water, feeling his shoulders itching intensely which made him frown though he didn't see the crimson streaks on his back from cuts that were slowly growing from apparently an internal source as if something were straining to break through the skin.

Rosalyn's nose twitched slightly as the scent of blood hit her. She opened her eyes and looked over at Jin. She didn't see anything outright, but she knew that the blood was coming from him. She moved forward and touched his shoulder gently. Rosalyn managed to pull him a little forward so she could see his back. "You're bleeding," she said softly. "What's going on here?"

Alede OOC - Try figuring out which mutants were infused into his body. Hint: All of them were at one time associated with a bald telepath in a wheelchair. Kýojin shifted his shoulders, unaware that the bleeding became more intense because of it though the itching was getting stronger. "I don't know; it's possible that a mutation that the files didn't mention was infused into me that could be triggering. When the concussive energies kicked in... well... let's just say what they did to my hands wasn't pretty," he said quietly with a faint smile; in fact, all that had been left of his hands was smoldering tendons and bones. Healing that had been one hell of an unpleasant incident. He didn't notice the crimson feathers starting to show themselves through the cuts.

Kaosujin Ryu hmm wolverine perhaps? That would be one I can think of Rosalyn said as she examined them closely. "They sure did a number on you," she said softly as she hesitated before touching the cuts. She couldn't believe the extremes that they had gone through to create an almost invincible being.

Alede OOC - True, he's the one that Jin got the strong healing factor from. I would think at least two of the others would be obvious... brothers. Kýojin shivered, feeling something shifting against his shoulders as the feathers began to reveal what they were connected to: Two and a half foot wide wings, though the feathers were a dark crimson. The bleeding wounds began healing slowly but steadily.

Kaosujin Ryu you know I have never read the comics? I have only seen the movies that came out Rosalyn moved back as she saw the wings. They were the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. She was glad to see that the wounds were already healing over quickly. "Well you become more and more interesting by the minute Jin," she said softly with a small smile on her face. She had heard of the other mutants that roamed the earth, but had never had the opportunity to come across them. She was sure if she had not been captured she would have eventually met them. It seemed that Jin had been infused with some of their powers. He had so much raw, potential power that it was a bit scary to think about.

Kýojin took a slow shuddering breath as he unconsciously let the wings fold tight against his shoulders. A low sigh escaped him that sounded like "Essex", since that had been one of the doctors that had 'worked' with him. His eyes slowly opened, glowing a crystalline teal for several seconds before he tensed, unaware the glow fully engulfed his eyes for a split second before fading away. In that second, however, he saw flashes of images, of lab tubes like what he'd been submerged in when they'd injected the molten metal that had fused to his bones. All of them had people in them, some had women with long green or dark violet hair while others had broad shouldered bald men in them; his senses, however, seemed drawn to a man in black body armor and an odd shredded cape with long black hair. He saw a flash of crimson eyes and a red diamond marking on pale white skin before the images vanished abruptly, leaving him with a throbbing migraine and a bleeding nose. He muttered the name again unconsciously. "Essex," he muttered. A low crackling sound sounded as his hands clenched into fists beneath the water.
It wasn't obvious what he'd seen in his mind, but it was obvious that something was troubling him deeply.

Jin seemed to be in a far off place, seeing something that she could not. Rosalyn watched him for mere moments before he came back to himself, nose bleeding. She heard the sound underneath the water and sighed as a cloth appeared in her hand. Gently Rosalyn wiped the blood that ran from Jin's nose. "My God, what have they done to you," she said mainly to herself. She had never wanted her father and brother dead more than she did in this moment. While they all had suffered at the hands of her family, it seemed that Jin had suffered the most. She knew that others had experimented on him, but she had no doubt it had been at the behest of her father and brother.
