Rain couldnt move in time. The Stun Carbine slapped into her and knocked her off her feet.
Cale, having just sawed through the bindings with a micro torch, stood some distance away with his DL-18 drawn, finger on the trigger.
"Alright. Ive had it with this. Every time you show up Solms, My crew gets hurt and I lose a place I can do buisness at. It ends here." he hefted the pistol and gave a smirk. "I've loaded this pistol with a Spin Sealed Tibanna gas cartridge. Your light shield is useless against a blast from this thing. Sure I'll melt the barrel with the first shot, but then again, I only need one shot."
His smirk faded, and Cale's face was all seriousness.
"Now, before endgame, I want to know who you're working for."

"Him again?" Cale replied. "Heh. This is getting old." Suddenly a thought crossed Cale's mind.
It was risky, but If he could pull it off, he'd beable to stone two hawbats with a single rock.
"Tell you what, Solms. Ive a private commision of my own. And as much as I dont like you, you're the only one who can pull it off."

Cale shook his head. "No. That would be a waste of time. I want you to aquire something for me that Prime currently possesses."

"Right. You got some pretty good morals when you're working for a mass murdering psycho force monkey." Cale began walking around to where Rain lay, keeping the pistol right focused right at Solms as he moved.
"Its more of a hostage Extraction. Prime kidnapped my friend's wife to blackmail him into doing his dirty work. He wants her back."

"Actually I do."
Cale turned the blaster on himself, pointing the barrel at his own head.
"You want me alive right? Well here's the deal. As an upfront payment, I'll go with you to Drako. Alive and cooperative. And if you return my friend's wife to my Pirate band safe and sound, Not only will they give you ten thousand credits, but they will also not come looking for you because you brought me in. Rain and Rak, as you well know, are very tenacious. and they both have a vindictive streak a parsec wide. But with this deal, they wont come near you or your activities for what you did to me, plus you make a cool ten k, enough to buy a decent starship or a month long party on Zeltron."

"Well thats simple really." Cale's blaster became pointed at Solms once more. "I and/or Rain shoot you and I come up with a different plan for getting my friend's wife back. You however wont be around for that. Will he Rain?"
The Mando woman snapped up from her prone position, the Lightshield at her belt barely functioning and the pistol in her hand loaded.
"Affirmative Captain."
Cale gave a cheery smile and shrugged. "Such a tough desision. Do you want to risk possible death and make a sithload of money? or do you want a certain and unglorious demise at the hands of a pair of pirates? wow. a real toughy."
