Amanda gasped and walked over to Valor, sitting next to him and gently grabbing the puppy, placing it in her lap and started scratching behind his ears. "He is wonderful Valor." She leaned over and kissed him softly, not noticing the box.

Valor kissed back, and caught her hand timidly, his was shaking as he looked up at her with his big coral-colored eyes.

She looked at him with worried eyes, she could feel him shaking. "Valor, what is the mater? You are shaking like you are outside in winter with no coat on." She moved the puppy down onto the grass and lifted her free hand to his face, trying to sooth him.

He smiled weakly and lifted the box opening it revealing a stunning ring.  "Amanda... marry me... please?" he asked voice cracking. He was terrified of her response. what if she says no?

She gasped and moved both hands over her mouth, speechless beyond all words. It took her a long time to respond, and she knew that was just making Valor a wreck as it was. She loved him, and she had thought about living with him for the rest of her life, this just made it so much better. She threw his arms around his neck and hugged him as tight as she could. "Yes." She almost yelled it, wanting the world to hear her and know she would get married to her love, her first and only love.

Releif shot through Valor like a hurricane, and it was his turn to tear up and burry his face in her neck trying to conceal the sobs approaching. "thank god."

Unlike Valor Amanda let her tears fall as she smiled and held him close. "I love you. Oh god I love you so much." She pulled away and started to kiss him, smothering his lips and jaw line in kisses as she held his head gently with her hands.

His cheeks flushed red and he could only smile and obllige her, happy to see her so happy. The moment though was interupted by Vendetta hopping the fence and seeing them, since they hadn't responded to he tireless knocking.

Amanda slowly moved away from Valor and looked down at her hands as she blushed deeply. She knew why Vendetta was there, and her heart fell a little, not ready for pain so soon after her life was getting so... normal. She looked up at Valor and gently took the ring box from him, taking the ring out and putting it on her left ring finger. When she was done with that she picked up the husky pup, rubbing his ears again.

Vendetta sighed, not much likeing what was going to go down either but she and Valor had talked it over and she knew why it had to be done. " I brought my best pain killers. " she said softly.

She nodded and sighed. "Thank you. Where do you want me to be to do this? And will it leave a scar?" She wasn't worried about it really, just knowing would make things a little better as she continue to rub the pup's ears.

She sighed "Um.. probably the couch or bed somewhere the rest of you will be comfortable, I'll be removing Valor's tattoo too..." He just nodded.

She nodded and stood, gently putting the husky down before walking into the house. She was an empty shell, getting into a mind set to go through the pain she would feel. She knew they would follow her so she went into the bedroom, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Valor sat behind her filled with guilt holding her hand and Vendetta removed the chemicals. He pulled Amanda back onto his chest so she'd be slightly reclined and the solution wouldn't drip.

Amanda let out a shaky sigh as she leaned into his chest, turning her head so the tattoo would be completely exposed. "Can I name the puppy Time?"
