"Infirmary, the ship's been mightily abused, but we've left the storm behind and we'll make it in to dock..."
He does a swift bit of deduction, figuring that Finagle's in the infirmary again. And he hears a clank in the background. And then he adds, "...so If I were you I'd get back in bed before Doctor Tennant orders that clank to strap you to it."

[sick bay] (grats on getting to page 100!)
He grimaces, mumbling under his breath, but answers back. "I feel fine for the moment, but can you give me directions back to the hanger? I kind of need to get to my tools..." His side was stinging smartly again, and he badly wanted a smoke, maybe that was what he was smelling.

"Ask Doctor Tennant. Right now I must get the proximity watch in place to prepare for docking."

[hold--> Bridge]
Alexandria sighed and climbed out of the hold once again, odd clank in tow. She was forever to be racing about this ship, it seemed.
"I guess I'll join the others in the bridge again?" she muttered as she entered the chart room and pulled out a few different maps she had seen earlier of Cog Island. They might be useful.
"Captain, I have some maps!" She called as she entered the bridge again.
"What can I do to help with the docking?"

(Whoo hoo! we made it to page 100! for a roleplay I started to dredge up a RP that would not die we have made a titanic thread.... bad reference.)
[bridge] "Hello again Ms. Alexandria," Daniel says as she arrives, "IF you could inform us about the wind currents around the island that would be most helpful. I dont want any surprises, we dimply cant have a sudden gust smear us on the islands cog.
The radio receiver cam alive with a crystal clear voice, "Cog Island air base to the Khaos, You are clear to dock at..." The speaker rattled of a heading. "and get yourself a new radio when you get in. your frequency is all garbled. What is your business here. over."
"we are carringing passengers and cargo. a shipment of crystal engrgy batteries and their converters in excelent working quality. over"
the voice on the other side whistled, "You hit a mother load friend, those will sell nicely here. over" replied the comm officer
Provided Ms Bruno did not get into them....
Below a spot light blinked to indicate their landing sight. the light clearly visible in the pre dawn light. "Thank you CIA Base, Commencing approach. over and out"
leaning to the speaker tubes, Daniel calls out "This is the captain speaking, we shall be arriving in port shortly."
(the island has half a cog arching over it. its home to many a mad boy/girl. great place for new arrivals no?)

[ That is a wonderful picture! yaaay~ ]
[bridge]
"Aye sir!" Alexandria grinned and found a seat by an opened window. She was mightily enjoying this adventure she had set for herself.
From one of the folds in her dress she pulled a small intrument. It was the smallest thing contained within the heavy box resting in her cabin. Unfolding the long spidery fingers, Alexandria set the things down on the maps spread across her lap, then pulled one of the thing's legs out farther (it extends a lot) and spread the tip out.
The tip of the leg contained a tiny set of rotating peices which were poked out the window and began to turn in the breeze. As they did, the machine lept to life and began crawling around the paper, tapping various numbers written over the surface. Alexandria's eyes darted after it, scratching down the numbers on the edge of the map with a pen she had pulled from nowhere.
"Captain. Winds from south-south-west coming towards our port bow at...0.7 knots. Another stream of window from the direct west at 1.5 knots. " She called, still bent over the tiny metal creature on the map, "Updraft...general ...that way direction. (pointed backwards) We just missed it."

[St. Eligius Cathedral Cog Island Division Hanger office area]
"Meine Liebe, deine Liebe, die sind beide gleich~" Sings a elven man boredly as he widdles away at a piece of wood, leaning back in his chair and his feet kicked up on to the dusty airship blueprint covered desk. "Jeder Mensch hat nur ein Herz und nur ein Himmelreich~" He pauses and turns his head, yelling to the back.
"Kollegin~ Iz ze stew ready yet? I am starving~" He complained loudly. His hazel eyes darting back to his widdling. "Kollegin, you did make beef stew right? Like I vanted-" SPLAT! Chucks and drippings of thick soup dripped down his white hair and down his face onto his clothing.
"Zeagull again I zee...."

Her usual smiling babyface was smeared with a grimace as she glares at her elven companion. Her big brown permed curls bouncing as she places her hips on her side. "Do you honestly believe that we can AFFORD to eat beef of all things right now!!?" Her blue eyes flashing in fury. "You're lucky to be eating anything Phin!" She humphs and crosses her arms. "Its been six months since we've been stationed here and still we've gotten squat for work!" Turning towards the empty and dust covered hanger. "Those damned Sparks keep stealing our business!"

[Bridge]
Penelope didn't think she'd be able to help at all as they passed through the storm, but she did not want to return to the kitchen and be by herself with the thunder and lightning around them. Instead, she remained in the bridge with Mr Daniel, watching him work as the storm raged around the ship. She had never been particluarly religious, aside from the prayers before meals with her grandfather. Mr Daniel's prayer, and the speedy answer, astounded her.
[and Deck] As the storm cleared away from the ship, Cog Island was visible. She stood to see it through the rainstreaked window, then moved out onto the deck. Wuneye and several clanks were securing the balloons ((or were they already secured? I assume they're all still on deck at the least)). The girl paused to breathe in the wet air that the storm left around the ship, then rushed over to the rails to watch the island grow closer.
((Ugh, sorry I've been gone. The last two weeks were frought with schoolwork and rehersals/performances. Everything is done now, and I'm back and caught up. Page 100!))

As the ship approaches near to the dock, the tinny voices of the clanks at the proximity watch stations echo through the tubes at the navigator's perch. Myles listens to the periodic reports and says, "We're listing to starboard Daniel, four degrees to port will correct."

[bridge] "Aye aye, Myles, Alexandria" Daniel calls out as he makes the adjustment.
[CI Docks] Th khaos drifted gently into the docking station, various onlookers were treated to quite the sight. the battered and bruised Khaos, a ship well past her prime, coasting into the station with as much dignity as she could muster. The Khaos pulls into the station and the engines finally cough and die. A few of the clanks spring out of the ship to fasten the mooring lines.
[bridge] relaxing back into his seat, Daniel lets out sigh and rubs his weary eye (the other is bionic) After a post flight check and status report, the list of damages was not as bad as it might have been. one engine was in need repairs over 70% of its structure, the balloon cables would need to be re-bolted, and there was some other minor damage.
Checking the chrono, they still had a few hours before work could be started decently.

Alexandria stared in amazement out the bridge windows. She had never really left the city before, except for small school outings and they were certainly never to such an interesting city such as this!

[St. Eligius Cathedral Cog Island Division Hanger office area/ bathroom]
"Ja~" He sighs heavily and sets his wooden carving down, walking to the bathroom to wash his dinner off. He picks up a small wooden bucket along the way, he shuts the bathroom door and precedes to fill it up with water, dowsing his head in the sink to get rid of the sticky mess. Peering though the small window he gasps and grins from ear to ear as he see the battered ship dock. Blasting though the door and back into the office area.
"KOLLEGIN!! KOLLEGINNNNNN~~!!!!!!!! ZARE IZ A SHIP DOCKED!!" He fails wildly with excitement towards the general direction of the the docked Khaos. "It iz in horrid condizion! Ve'we must get to it before ze sparkiez do!"
