=O Event! -gasp- House points! -gasps more- Yay! =D
Europe is interesting because...well Akito is right. Everything happens there XD There are tons of languages in a tiny little space, tons of different cultures (which means different food too!) and much more history (that is still standing) that you can look at than in other places.
Plus, when I finally get enough time to go on vacation (like once every three years T___T), I always go to Taiwan.
Valentine's is so fun! (And sweet) You guys doing anything special?

It' OK. I'm sick, too. Kind of.
*sigh*...Right before Valentine's Day, too.
Yea, I'm not such an avid traveler, especially becaue my parents have become much more busy. When my brother was about eight we used to go traveling a lot. But then again, I was only two, so there isn't much to remember (other than getting a HUGE tan at Mexico).
But now...I only remember going to Korea, Canada, Oregon, Washington DC, the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone.

My Uncle lived in Göteborg a few years ago! I visited him then. Me and my cousin went to the Amusement Park there, called Lisa Berg. It was awesome! We also drove through the city when we drove through Sweeden on our way to Germany.
I love travelling by plane. I think it's awesome! Watching the huge fluffy clouds, the small houses that I compared to doll houses as a kid. *laughs* I've been on a ferry plenty of times! I can't even count how many times I've been on one. Most of the times if we want to get somewhere in the country, we have to take at least one ferry.
I guess Norway's stolen your snow. But then again, we haven't had that much of it lately.. Untill now. There's been a blizzard both today and yesterday. It was hell waiting ten minutes for the buss, and then walking home from the buss station yesterday! It was snowing and there was a strong wind.
There's a concert in Finland that's held every summer in Helsinki. I really want to go listen to it! It's a rock concert. Plenty of Finnish bands play there. Nightwish is from Finland, you know? Most of the band members are from Helsinki. I've never heard of Sonata Arctica. I'll be sure to look it up when I get home! Finland's mostly known for it's many rivers. I think they have over 1000, if my memory from elementary school serves me correctly..
Yeah. Though we were warned by our guide to keep our bags close when we were walking in the streets in Krakow. It's easy to see that we're tourists, so people could take advantage of that, she said. But nothing happened. Everyone had a fantastic time! We went eating, and we ate a delicious pizza. We also had pizza everyday at the hotel. It was much better buying your own food, because all we were served during the trip, was meat balls in brown sauce, spagetthi, and fish. D:
At the moment I'm in school. We're supposed to read about traveling, for our term test in Norwegian tomorrow. But I got nothing to do, so I sneaked on here. ninja

What can I say? I want those house points!
Plus I have nothing better to do. Now I never want to comment a profile again! ...or for the next five minutes.

Yeah we do! Orna I guess is busy doing mod business and real life gets in the way. I was getting better you know over this cold that turned into a weird virus thing, but then I didn't sleep one night because I had to finish a paper. So basically I did it to myself. I rarely go traveling, the most traveling I've done is gone to baja california mexico...its nice but just for a weekend during the summer (when we have money) plus Cancun/tulum and Mexico D.F. city for a real vacation. Usually my family vacations always has a reason for going to that place. Either its for a wedding in vegas, graduation in oakland or something like that. We never really have a vacation for just having a vacation. Like in october we went down to Ensenada for my cousin's wedding reception. So yeah....I should be doing my psychology paper right now!

I don't like planes much...they make your ears hurt, and dry out your skin. A lot. So when you get off the plane, you feel like you've just stepped out of a very dry can. Not exactly comfortable. And there's also that constant whirring noise of wind or engines or something that drive me nuts >.>

I hate going on them..last time I did it was 2005. My ears hurt so bad the first time I ever went on..I don't know about the dry part, maybe because I have very dry skin originally. I'm confused on the whole valentine event thing...I don't get it.. redface My math class was cancelled today..I was happy!

 Hi Ashley! Nice to hear from you. No romance in the books? Even when you find out Arthur calls Molly "Mollywobbles?" Guess you're right--she was pretty embarrassed when that came out! I miss Orna too. But she just landed her looked for job, and that involved physically moving, which she's in the midst of. Hope she's back soon. Valentine's Day gifts to all the Heads of Houses -we got shiny gold badges to use in our posts - Slytherin's is silver. Let me know what's confusing about the Valentine Events. Just ask here, or in the Great Hall, cause if RAVENCLAWS found it confusing, the rest of the Houses probably did too. I tried to make them simple, but I was writing with a concussion. Each event is stand alone, so you can participate in any of them. You can make up Valentines with you and HP characters or between HP characters or between House members and HP characters. That's the Gilderoy thread. The hard part is knowing how many "points" (chances) each one is worth, because I wanted people to be able to post and win raffle chances. without having to donate, so the list of things that brought chances got a little long. So basically if you rhyme your Valentine and write at least four lines, it's worth more. If you use a custom heart of your Avi, it's worth more. If you use a character heart (available by donation to AccioFunds), it's worth more. Then there is a list of things you can do for more chances like "post a Valentine banner on someone's profile". The others are just contests - straight tek-tek Avi making, find a FanFic romantic story (there you go, Ashley, a little romance), Decorate your post like a valentine. Sorry if it's confusing.

The Valentine stuff isn't THAT complicated...it's a lot like the Yule events, I suppose. When do the Valentine events end?

At Turayza and Paraphernalia: Really? I actually enjoy flying in airplanes. You know, the lurching sensation you get in your stomach as you lift off? My eyes don't hurt at all. But I do admit, you do feel a bit dry up in the sky.
That's why you use lotion...duh!
And after a while, flying gets a bit...boring and tiresome as to say, so it's always nice to step off the plane after a good flight.
But I think jumping off an airplane would be so much more fun.

Whenever I'm up really high, I begin to imagine all the fun ways to fall off and land, then turn into a blob of bloody broken-ness. Really pleasant.
You're not aloud to bring liquid onto an international flight, and those are the only ones that really dry you out. Ahhh. Flying can. >.> It's like the evolving item reports, where...Timmy? Jimmy? (I forget his name...) gets stuck in a can, and mutates oddly. XD
You can also get that lurching feeling from elevators...or, even better, roller coasters. And with those, (usually) your ears don't explode in your head. >.>
