"So many battles today, huh, guys?" Train said, motioning for Tarath tom come over to where she was.
"Hmn...Pikachu, you, too, of course!" Train said, and her two Pokemon stepped in front of her, glaring a bit at the opposiing team.
"Hmph," The female of the two that had challanged Train said, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "Mightyena, use Bite on the little yellow rat."

"ARGH!" The Aqua Grunts cried out simatanously. They turned and fled, mixing themselves in with the Aqua crowd.
"Ha!" Train shouted after them, though she didn't sound very difiant. She had been paying attention to what was happening around her, and her Umbreon ears had picked up the conversation between Kaya and Notaro. Train cautiously approached the group, holding her eblows loosly in each hand. A sad look was on her face, but it quickly turned to anger.
"You b*****d!" She shouted, glaring directly at Notaro. She stepped around Kaya and Brayden and stood up straighter so that she could look more eye-to-eye with Notaro. "Where the hell is all this gonna get you idiots, anyway?! I've got half a mind to have Pikachu just zap you right here!" Pikachu let out a small growl, shouting, "Pika!!" in agreement, and, as if to emhpasize what Train had said, a few sparks crackled around his red cheeks.

"What is it going to get us?" Notaro laughed. "Well, my dear, how about the world? Is that worthy enough for all our efforts here?" he sneered. "With the power this blade holds, not even time and space will be an issue, we can reshape the very world to our whims..."
At the center of the alter, the figure in the cloak had placed all the sword fragments in order, corresponding with the legendary that lay beyond the altar. Aligned with Mew, the pulsing, center core of the hilt, a shiny gem that glinted maliciously. Aligned with Lugia's area, the hilt of the sword, the driving force behind the thrust of the blade, guarded by the one who guided the currents and oceans. Two halves of the split blade of the sword lay aligned with Groudon and Kyogre respectively, the deadly force of the weapon controlled by two of the most powerful rivals in history. The guard of the blade, aligned with Heatran, was also aligned on the alter top.
Smiling faintly, the figure recited the words of the poem passed down as mere legend in Sinnoh. However, the words were proving to be fact, as the blade flashed, crackling with energy as the lava of Stark Mountain melded the sentient blade back together once more.
"A young man, callow and foolish in
innocence, came to own a sword.
With it, he smote Pokemon, which gave
sustenance, with carefree abandon.
Those not taken as food, he
discarded, with no afterthought.
The following year, no Pokemon
appeared. Larders grew bare.
The young man, seeking the missing
Pokemon, journeyed afar.
Long did he search. And far and wide,
too, until one he did find.
Asked he, "Why do you hide?"
To which the Pokemon replied
"If you bear your sword to bring
harm upon us, with claws and
fangs, we will exact a toll.
From your kind we will take our
toll, for it must be done.
Done it must be to guard ourselves
and for it, I apologize."
To the skies, the young man shouted
his dismay.
"In having found the sword, I have
lost so much.
Gorged with power, I grew blind
to Pokemon being alive.
I will never fall savage again.
This sword I denounce and forsake.
I plead for forgiveness,
for I was but a fool."
So saying, the young man hurled the
sword to the ground, snapping it.
Seeing this, the Pokemon disappeared
to a place beyond seeing... "
"The sword broken, so much potential was lost... but now... the legend can finally become reality once more..."

"I'm afraid of myself..." he whispered, barely over a breath into Kaya's neck. It may not have been Brayden's heart behind his earlier actions, but it was still his actions, and that's what scared him most of all.

Though, he didn't even know these people, he felt that he should help them, at least a little. There wasn't any clue as to how horrible things would get, and Henna wasn't sure he was ready for something this large, just after waking up from a 8-month sleep, which had induced a memory loss. Inching closer to the blond girl, he noticed something odd about her. She had Umbreon ears, and a tail too! Still, if she was hostile, he'd have found out the moment he crashed in here. Asking softly, "Mind if I help you guys? I've got this feeling that the thing that made me collapse is in here, and I need to know what it is."

Dante stood protectively infront of Alexis, who was already charging himself up with electricity. Rhapsody was cracking her ghostly knuckles. Barth was already bucking like a wild stallion gone mad, the firey glint in his eyes forcused on the man. The Great Pretender was prepared, ready to do whatever it took to get them to win. Bijou, on all fours, was already growling at the man.
Even Nona's broken fists grew white hot again.
This was it. This was the point of no return.
