Arai sat down and thought for a moment on how to phrase everything.
"I respect Ryuu and fear him a little too, it is a shame to see someone with his potential to go soft," Arai started, "I'm a dog to my family, regardless of how my family does I'll still have the same lot in life. Also if the future head of the most powerful family is seen as soft there is going to be a lot of battling and unneeded bloodshed between all the Yakuza to take your family's place at the top."
He set his bokken down on the floor. "He has his moments where he acts like yakuza, but he doesn't seem that interested in becoming a boss to me. Your Mother's side must not be too happy about that."

Keiko raised her eyebrow, "You know my brother that well?"
She laughed, "He doesn't have a choice. He will be the boss. Ryuu has no choice." She then looked away, "You shouldn't pry though. You might get hurt. I could easily tell them about your questions."
She stood up, "You'll have to do more that chocolate to convince me that you aren't a spy."

"I've met him twice," Arai paused, "I'm a swordsman, I've been trained to read people quickly, know their moves before they move."
Arai suddenly stood up, knocking his chair to the ground as he did so, "I have my own agenda, I don't want to do as my family says, I don't care for my brothers one bit. They treat me like a dog. I am not their spy."

"I see." Keiko folded her fingers together, "Then why are you here? Do you want my help or something?" Keiko chuckled, "If it's help you want then you've come to the wrong person."

"I'm here because I'm supposed to be on friendly terms with you, or so says my brothers, and so long as I make it look that way I don't get 'punished' for disobeying order. Right now I don't care what goes on here, I just don't want to be hit with a whip," Arai muttered, "And I don't need help."

Keiko smiled, "Well then. We have something in common. We can at least be civil then." She sat back down, "But, what do I get for all of this? Letting you hang around me is helping you but does nothing for me. So?" She looked right at him, "What are you going to give me?" She sat back in the chair, "Oh and chocolate wont cut it."

"Something you want?" Arai mumbled and then said louder, "What is it that you want? Ryuu dethroned? A bodyguard? A dance partner?"
She is smart, and Ryuu was right, she will try to manipulate me, but manipulation can go both ways.

"I don't need your help in removing Ryuu from the Host Club." Keiko glared at Arai, "My family supplies me with bodyguards."
A smile crossed her face and she leaned over the table, "Are you trying to ask me out Arai?" She said with a high tone.

A blush came to Arai's face, a shade never seen on his skin.
"Um, er, I, uh," Arai stammered, "Yeah, I guess, if that's what you want. I don't have any particular feelings for you, though."

Keiko sat back in her seat, "Well I don't!" Keiko sighed, "But if I want to go to the ball and keep an eye on that damn Yukimi then I'll accept your offer. I'll go to the Host Club ball with you."

"Very well, I'll take you to the host club ball," Arai stood up, picking up his bokken in one smooth movement, "Don't worry, I wont try to make any moves on you. I may be gruff but I'm still a good man inside."
Arai stretched his legs, he didn't like sitting for extended periods of time.
"Is there anything else I can do for you, Keiko?"

"Yeah do you have more chocolate?" Keiko smiled and giggled as she wadded up the chocolate wrapper.

All this girl seems to think about is Ryuu and chocolate. I only have two more bars of chocolate, I was hoping to enjoy some myself.
Arai reached into his pocket again and pulled out one more bar.
"Here you go,"Arai said handing Keiko the bar, "this is the last one I have."

So he does like chocolate. After all this is the same type as the last one. Why would he have two of them if he didn't like it? Interesting. He was given a lot more information about me than I thought.
Keiko smiled and took the bar, "Thank you, Arai."
Keiko stood up and brushed by him as she left. At least I get a date for the dance. A huge smile crossed Keiko's face despite the fact she tried to hide it.

Well, things went relatively smoothly I think, but, what do I do now? Should I report to Ryuu? Hmph, maybe later.
Arai stood up and started towards the stair case.
What should I wear?
