Storm looked at Lore curiously and curled up in a little ball in Lore's arms. "Where are we-"
"-going to wait?" Starr finished for him, curling up just as her brother had.
Serenity and Skye reached out to put a hand under the falling rain, but Celebor had lost interest in it by now. Instead, he ran off to join Ulrich. He always liked meeting new people, and he wanted to know where the pretty lady had disappeared to.

Ulrich grinned and put one hand on Celebor's head. "Getting bored with that, huh?" he chuckled.
Though to be honest he found it difficult to pry his eyes away from the phenomenon. He had never seen anything like it in his life - never even heard of anything like it.

"I'm... not sure," Lore admitted.
Afterall he didn't know how long they would have to wait, and they couldn't wait out here for ours unend to undo what was done. So... he wasn't sure.
"What do you think Elnara?" Lore inquired, "I don't think it'll last forever, but I don't know how long it'll last or if it'll do anything to the area."

Elnara shrugged one shoulder, the one that Idhril wasn't lying on. "If you don't mind," she smiled, "we could wait inside. I mean, there's nothing more we can do out here, and I'm kind of anxious to see Aliya. She's their first child in well over three thousand years, after all."
Celebor grinned up at Ulrich. "They do funny stuff all the time," he told him. "This is the first time they maked it rain, though."
He looked around. "Where'd the lady go?" he asked curiously.

Ulrich chuckled again. "She went inside," he told him. "To get the baby. Would you like to go see, too?"

Lore chuckled at that, "Of course, it might be a while before anything changes, though it'll be hard to tell."
He looked at the twins, each in turn.
"Let's go back to the house and see if there can be something done later."

The twins grinned and nodded. "Okay," they agreed. The each put one hand around Lore's neck and got comfortable, automatically assuming that he was going to carry them inside.
Celebor nodded and grinned up at Ulrich. "Yeah!" he exclaimed. "You said she gots a new baby just like Mommy gots!" He pointed over at Elnara and Idhril proudly.

Ulrich glanced up at Elnara and her new child and raised one eyebrow curiously.
"Sort of," he told Celebor finally. "Though I'm told you've never seen a natural baby before."
He put his hand on the boy's back and started leading him to the house.

Seeing as the children seemed to be want to be carried back, Lore kept a hold of them. He headed back towards the house, with a smile as he watched Ulrich and Celebor.

Elnara moved to walk beside Lore as he headed towards the house. "So?" she said questioningly, raising one eyebrow curiously. "No go?"
Celebor looked at Ulrich, brow furrowed in confusion. "A nat'ral baby?" he asked curiously. "What's that mean?"

Ulrich paused to think about that for a second. Celebor's comment confirmed his suspicion that all of the children in the Winters family were adopted, that none were biological, a suspicion that he'd gotten while speaking with Kara and Donovan on their previous visit, and especially when Idhril had arrived ... from the vase.
"I think I'll let your mother answer that question for you," he said finally.

"No..." Lore shook his head, "We'll wait a bit and take the twins out again and see if the threads moved to a place where they can reach."
He shrugged, there wasn't anything else he could do.
"Otherwise, Ulrich might need a new dock, because the only other choice is to let it run it's course."

"And if they can't stop it, it'll start rotting soon," Elnara murmured, nodding.
Celebor nodded to Ulrich and without another word ran over to Elnara and Lore. When he had questions, he liked having them answered right away.
"Mommy," he said, walking backwards in front of them so that he could talk to them, "what's a nat'ral baby?"

Lore coughed at that, before blushing a bit, but unsure if this was funny or not. When did parents start talking to their children about that kind of stuff he wondered. Then again why was Celebor asking in the first place?

Celebor looked up at Lore and pointed back at Ulrich. "Cos he said he's gonna show me his and 'Lani's baby and he said she's gonna be the first nat'ral baby I'm ever gonna see and when I asked him what's a nat'ral baby he said as Mommy," he explained matter-of-factly. He blinked at Lore. "Do you know what a nat'ral baby is?"
