Sure, kid. Meanwhile, why don't the two of you go out and play, or something? I'll call you in when I'm done.
"Okay! Can I show Kunjiro some of my magic?"
"Yes--"
"Awesome!"
"But don't start any trouble, okay? The last thing we want is for Jabir totake another disciplinary action on you, after he'd just taken away King's voice recently."
"Yes'm." Rex hurried to his bedroom, and reappeared a short while later with his hoverboard at his side. Rushing towards the door, the boy placed his hand on the handle before turning around towards Kunjiro.
"Coming, Kunjiro?"

"Hooray!" Kunjiro exclaimed. "Thank you sir, I hope to see it soon," he said, clapping his hands excitedly.
"Oh, and I forgot to tell you that my alignment is water and... earth, I guess," he said, scratching his head at the same time. "And wait for me, I'm coming," he continued, running towards his friend.

You're welcome, kid. Enjoy yourself outside, hm? Gryff said, nodding his head in a slight bow.
Rex grinned. "I'm Earth too! Let's go somewhere and practice our magic!"
The boy held the door open for his friend, and a short while later, was running off to a 'practice area'.
"See you, Mum! Gryff!"

.. A gift .. Diehard_Dreamer & Aphrodite Diehard_Dreamer [ A gift from Aphrodite ]
Taking a deep breath, the wasp zoomed her way through the hall, searching throughout the dorm doors. "Hmm.. where could it be?" She sighed as her animated red wagon followed her through her twists and turns. She sighed, shaking her head. "I really need to memorize where everyone is.. this is getting stupid." She sighed looking up and spotting Rex and King's room. Smiling she whistled for her wagon, zooming faithfully to her side. Taking a deep breath she blushed deeply as she pulled out the silk bag she had made along with the gift that was inside and the onigiris she had made with her mother.
The bag was large, and by the size of it seemed to be as large as Aphrodite, the stitches were very small and from the looks of it looked as though it took a while for the wasp to finish. Though inside was a small bonzai tree with a stone statue beside it, also was a three riceballs that she had made recently. Attached to the silk bag was a note:
Aphrodite Dear Rex, ( and Mr. King too! ) I really don't know what to write, so I guess this is for you. ^^; I made the bag by myself and my mama helped me make the onigirs.. since I heard you like asian things... though I didn't remember exactly where. Heh. - Aphrodite
What was inside: and inside a plastic sandwhich bag was...

-- :: [ Magic lesson with Gryffenc ] :: -- Rexier Gaver flipped hurriedly through his clothes, snatching a white sleeveless zippered shirt and khaki bermuda off the hangers and changing into them in top speed. The boy then ran a finger through his hair, 'combing' them into place and made his way to a semi-cluttered table. There the boy picked out a dark blue notebook, turned, rolled across his bed (taking care not to squash his twin flat) and made for the door.
"WHOA!" Rex shouted as he jerked open the door, left hand travelling automatically to his chest.

-- :: Pair Study :: -- Location: Kunjiro's Room Participants: Rexier Gaver & King, Atsutoshi Kunjiro---------- :: ~ :: ----------.:: Link to RP ::. .. page 7 .. starting post 7---------- :: ~ :: ---------- Xiao Ling Kunjiro learns magic
"Aaaah! Not again," said Kunjiro to himself in a frustrationg tone. "I followed what the book wrote and nothing works," he continued, flipping the pages of the book. The boy then closed the book and sat on the floor, pouting. Silencer Wolf Rex adjusted the books in his arm, and reached out a hand to knock on the door of his friend's room. Then he took a step back, took a deep breath and waited. Xiao Ling "Hmm?" said Kunjiro, as he stood up and head towards the door. He then rubbed his nose as he stood in front of the door and turned the doorknob to open the door. His mood changed after seeing his friend.
"Hello, Rex! I didn't expect you to come," he said, standing beside the door so that his friend could enter the house. Silencer Wolf Huh?
"Hi Kunjiro!"
Rex blinked at his friend's strange statement before entering, bending a little so he wouldn't knock his head against the top of the doorway. As he passed Kunjiro, King managed to reach out and give the mushroom boy a quick but slobbering lick in greeting, happy to see his friend again.
Once inside, Rex turned around, grabbed his books and patted them twice, grinning at Kunjiro.
"I'm here for our group study, remember?" Xiao Ling "Study group?" said Kunjuro in a puzzling tone. He thought hard as he closed the door and managed to recall that. "Oh, yes yes yes," he said. "I forgot," the boy continued, scratching his head slightly. Kunjiro then lead his friend into his room, before offering Rex a glass of water.
"So, what are we going to study today?" the boy asked. Silencer Wolf "Uh... magic?" Rex answered in slight disbelief, and a little disappointed. So Kunjiro really forgot...
"You really don't remember, huh? We agreed to study and practise our magic together?" Xiao Ling "We did?" replied Kunjiro, puzzled. "Then I really forgot about that. Sorry about that," he continued, feeling dissapointed. "I have a book here that teaches some spells. If you want to learn something that's not in here then I'd like to watch."
After some time the boy managed to flip a page that teaches a spell he was interested in."Let me try this one, after that you try," he said, reading the contents on that page. "Hopefully this works." he thought. The boy then followed what the book said and waited to see what happens next.
... ...
Nothing happened. There was a soft pop sound in the room temporarily, followed by some rustling of the leaves. Kunjiro lost his patience and stamp his feet. "Argh, it's not working again!" Silencer Wolf King wasted no time in laughing unforgivingly at Kunjiro's failure, his laugh a hoarse, barking roar. The tyrannosaur stopped after awhile, but started his queer laugh again as he remembered the 'pop' and the accompanying rustles.
King, don't be so cruel! Rex reproached his twin(to which the reptile conveniently ignored), horrified that he could be so... heartless. And cruel. Towards Kunjiro. His friend.
Coughing slightly, Rex's face returned to the ever present smile a moment later, and he smiled sympathetically at the mushroom boy. "It's okay, maybe you can try again in a bit?" he said, and peered over Kunjiro's shoulder at the book in the boy's hand. Rex furrowed his brows and tilted his head while reading the book, then tore himself off it.
"Well, it's kind of a rather difficult spell... Would you like to try some simpler ones from my book?" Rex asked, scratching at itching spot on his neck and offering one of his notebooks to Kunjiro. "There are some intermediate ones Uncle Gryff and Andi taught be towards the end, if you'd like to try them out later." Xiao Ling "It's okay Rex," said Kunjiro, weakly. "I can always try again. I just need more practice, I guess," he continued, closing his book.
As he was about to get another spell book out from the bookshelf he saw Rex's spell notebook. He took it and flipped the pages, seeing that all the pages has spells that he was interested in. "You have a teacher to teach you these? You're lucky," said the mushroom kid, without taking his eyes off the book. "I have no teacher to teach me magic."
"My mom discourages me to learn magic. She said I should focus on kung fu, but I'm too young to learn any right now. That's why I learn magic when she's not in the house. Abigail, who is living with us, will teach me some kung fu when I'm older. She normally dresses like a pirate, but she's not one." Silencer Wolf Rex could not help but sympathise with Kunjiro as the boy explained his predicament. Rex rather liked magic himself, though it was not so much as basketball. Still, it was still fun to be able to wield magic and manipulate the elements however he liked.
"Sorry to hear about that," Rex said, putting a hand gently on his friend's shoulder. He could not understand why his friend's mother would discourage learning and practicing magic, but things clicked in his head as a plan was formulated to help Kunjiro, whether it was wrong of him to do so or not. He couldn't just sit there and watch.
"Would you like to join me in Uncle Gryff's 'lessons'? There is a magic class here in the HQ, but if your mom doesn't allow you to join it, you can come over and practise with me anytime." The boy offered, smiling. "I'm sure Uncle Gryff won't mind having you at all."
"Besides, it'll be fun, both of us learning magic together." Xiao Ling "Really?" said Kunjiro excitedly. "I can practice magic when my mom's not in. And I bet it would be intersting."
"Oh, and where will the lesson be held? At your house?" asked Kunjiro as he put the notebook on the table. Silencer Wolf Rex grumbled, looking from Kunjiro and... the room. The tyrannosaur's eyes scanned the place for signs of anything edible, as he felt himself slipping into boredom at the topic of magic and magical how-to's. Looking down at Kunjiro, King huffed and shrilled lowly in a rather commanding tone, despite knowing that the kid probably would not be able to understand him.
Give me something to eat.
"It is, believe me." Rex nodded enthusiastically. To Kunjiro's next question, he replied, "No, not exactly. Andi tutors me English and... and... divination! at home. For magic, we usually do it at my other home."
"Speaking of which," Rex went over to his notebook and flipped it open. The boy flipped through the pages until he came to the desired page, and pressed along the center of the two pages for the book to stay open, then removed his hand, pushed the chair aside and settled himself on the floor.
Shifting his weight to one side, Rex reached into his pocket and withdrew what seemed to be a large, empty glass marble. The boy placed said marble on his left palm and looked to Kunjiro. "Watch this."
Rex lowered his gaze to his book, tracing a finger across and down the page as he read. As he did so he mumbled, barely audibly, an incantation. Meanwhile, the marble on his palm glowed warmly, swirls of forest green and earth brown smoke emanated from it. The aura moved in to envelope the marble, and as soon as Rex lifted his finger from the book(a sign he has finished reading) and shifted his gaze to his outstretched palm, seeped into the marble.
Grinning, Rex offered the enchanted orb, within which swirled an earthly wisp, to the mushroom boy. "Here. Take this, when you're ready."
"It's a teleportation orb," Rex started to explain, when the marble started glowing a soft mavy blue and black. "Oh, and uncle Gryff's calling. He might start class sometime soon."
The boy grinned, beaming at Kunjiro. What timing, but of course, with someone like Gryffenc, nothing's a coincidence. Xiao Ling "That's cool," said Kunjiro admiringly. He then stared at the reptilian head behind Rex's. "Is something wrong? He doesn't seem to be happy..." said the kid, without turning at Rex.
Kunjiro stared at Rex's demonstration as his friend do magic and the effects really amazed him. He opened his mouth in awe as he took the teleportation orb from his friend. "I have a question. Do I use this orb to teleport myself to anywhere I like or I can only teleport to your home? It's really awesome, now I'll have to find a good place to hide it or my mum will be angry," he said, smiling broadly.
Upon hearing that his friend will have to leave soon, the smile disappeared from his face. Just when things starting to get interesting his friend will have leave. Before he bid farewell to Rex a question popped into his head. "Is anyone teaching you any other subjects? If not, you can join me for the science class here if you like, my mum is planning for one." Silencer Wolf "Well.... you can only use it to teleport to my room," Rex said, grinning sheepishly. Sticking his tongue out towards King as the reptile snickered, the boy huffed, and returned his attention to Kunjiro. "My magic's not strong enough to make strong magic like that, so my room will have to do."
Rex laughed nervously, then coughed and promptly changed the subject. "I think Unc Gryff said he's gonna teach me more things in a few night's time, so I'll call you then, and you can come along to Criffelance through my room."
The boy nodded, beaming at the thought of magic lessons with his friend. At the mention of science classes, the boy shook his head.
"Nah, no one's teaching me that. Andi said she might arrange for the centre teachers to come give me a private lesson, but she haven't so yet. I'd love to join you though, I heard the science teacher's got a nastily strict brother stuck to him.."
Just then, Rex made a face, and got up to go. "Gotta go, Uncle G's calling. Sorry we didn't get anything done... anyway, hope to see you soon!" Xiao Ling Kunjiro looked at his friend first then to the orb on his hand, before placing it into a treasure chest-shaped box. The box has a small locker on it, so the boy thought that it would be the best to hide it from his guardian. "My mom doesn't know that I bought this box when she was buying groceries. That time I was bored, so I went to the toy store beside the grocery shop to browse around and saw the box. I find it attractive so I bought it," said Kunjiro, showing to his friend before putting it back to where he took it. "Don't tell anyone about it, especially my mum. I keep all my treasures inside it and some of them are related to magic. Like I said, my mum doesn't like anything magic in the house."
"And I'll call you if I'm going to your house, it sounds rude if I don't," said Kunjiro. "I can't wait to visit your room though, it's so exciting," he continued, chuckling. Upon hearing that Rex has no teacher to tutor him science, the mushroom kid beamed. "Come and attend then, but I think you better ask your mum first, because I don't think she'll be happy if you didn't tell her about the class. I really hope that she doesn't mind you joining," said the boy.
Kunjiro then waved to his friend. "Goodbye, hope to see you soon," he called. "Take care!" Silencer Wolf "Don't worry, your secret's safe with me," Rex assured, patting his friend's shoulder. The boy grinned at Kunjiro's invitation and waved his tail happily behind him. "I'd love to, and I don't think Mother will mind at all."
The boy then returned a wave to Kunjiro, backstepping his way out of the room. "I will, thanks. You take care too, okay? Bye!" Rex said and turned, taking off in the direction of him own room, King waving paddling his tiny forearms at the mushroom boy as the distance between them increased.

-- :: Meeting an old friend :: -- Location: 3rd Floor and Attic - Inside Garden Participants: Rexier Gaver & King, Tamary Zuleika---------- :: ~ :: ---------- ---------- :: ~ :: ---------- Silencer Wolf Ah, it was a beautiful day. It was the perfect weather for an outing outside, but somehow a pair of conjoined twins found themselves indoors. Which was just as well as, strange as it might seem, Rex felt mightly lazy and could not bear to run around outside, or even anywhere else for that matter.
Rolling to his side, the boy sighed, before a push and wriggle from his twin had him back rolling back on his stomach. Rex let out another yawn, and idly played around with the grass, growing and sculpting the ground before him into a miniature landscaped garden.
King, meanwhile, rumbled happily at the passing clouds overhead. If there was one thing he liked about being indoors, it was the fact that he could stare at the sky without hurting his eyes. And for a long time. pinkdog It was very strange. The grass felt real. The blades were strong, yet soft and flexible as any grass, despite their indoor exhistance. Tamary knelt down and plucked out one blade. It broke as grass does, part clean and part stringy, and very much alive.
Standing, Tamary let the broken blade slip between her fingers to fall back into the grass. Her eyes were moving elsewhere already, intrigued by this indoor paradise. It gave her a little thrill to know she had found this place on her own. Though Pink had given her permission to wander within the walls, Zuleika liked to think she had escaped, slipped past his notice, and was exploring on the run. It would have been terrible if her little "forbidden" rendezvous had ended without her finding anything interesting.
Wandering forward into the tall, waving green plants, Tamary disappeared behind wide leaves. Inside there was nothing but waterfalls of green, everyside engulfing Zuleika with a brush against her skin. Once again, Tamary pretended her way into a forest, where she was camouflaged by her naturally green skintone, survived by sharp reflexes and instinct, and skillfully hid from her guardian. The Crocodile Mishap shrilled with happy excitement, the equivalent of a giggle, and remained blissfully aware of how this could have potentionally blown her "cover".
The tiny forest went on a good ways, the shrubery lined up in a curving row. Darting under and through the bushes, her tail twacking back and forth, Tamary barelled through, on the run, and shrilling just a bit with glee. Very abruptly the row came to an end, Tamary bursting forth out onto the grass from the bushes and stumbling to a stop in surprise. The brightness of the garden hurt her eyes after being surrounded by dark, comforting walls of green.
Thus, it took her squinting eyes a moment to readjust. As the white blurr faded back into the shapes and colors of the garden, Tamary startled at seeing a boy laying out in the grass a short distance from her. His appearance shattered her game of pretend, draining her of her momentary confidence.
Feeling shy and uncertain, Tamary stared at the boy. "Hi," was all she could manage, lapsing back into her shy, quiet state as she studied the figure. He seemed quiet familiar. Silencer Wolf Both Rex and King were taken by surprise at the suddenness of the greeting, and both heads turned towards the source of the sound. Boy and dinosaur stared back at the little green toddler before them for a solid few seconds, before King finally broke the silence with a cheerful bark-yelp.
"Uh, hello."
Rex pushed himself into a sitting position facing the colorful child, effectively swinging King out of sight of her. The boy studied younger mishap briefly, before a growl, followed by a thundering roar of protest forced him to shift his current position so that he was sitting with his shoulder towards the little one - an awkward position, no less.
Rex knew he had met the toddler somewhere, if only he could remember where, and who.
It's her! King, on the other hand, had no trouble remembering the crocodile mishap. The tyrannosaur threw a volley of whatever vocals he could come up with at Tamary, greeting her as if she was a long lost friend. It did not matter if she could not understand him - the joy and happiness in his voice was more than obvious. pinkdog The Croc Mishap only tilted her head slightly to the side at Rex's greeting -to see him better- but said nothing more. She studdied his stripes in and face in the brief time he looked at her. She knew she had met him before, but she didn't remember knowing anyone so big! He looked a bit like her though, with his flat skin, so she took an instant re-liking to him.
At the sudden noise from King her cone flatened momentarily, then instantly flew up in the air. That sound! Why, the gratting roar! Rather than frightening her, the sound excited her to the prospect of finding/meeting/seeing another reptilian! Tamary looked around, but didn't see anything. Where had it come from?
Movement from the stripped boy captured her attention agian, shifting her gaze. She saw him move his head to the side so that his shoulder was facing her a- Zuleika's cone of feathers rose to it's full forty-five degree angle, a short, high-pitch shrill squeezed out of her as she saw King.
Her uncertainly instantly disappearing, Tamary Zuleika rushed forward to greet the loud, happy sounds from the tyrannosaur, stopping just a few feet away from the twins. She looked from Rex to King, then stared at King. She returned her own, happy shrill sounds, entirely too pleased at seeing the other. What a fabulous turn to her adventure!
It's 'im! It's 'im! It's 'im! Tamary thought to herself. Everytime she had thought about wanting to go out and meet more of the children, she had first thought of this loud creature before her.
Stepping forward again, unafraid and unabashed, she reached out and touched the nose of the volatile tyrannosaur, giving a low purring shrill as she did so.
After stroking his nose a few times in greeting, she looked again at Rex, her cone falling slightly from the height of excitement. She didn't remember this one as well, though he most obviously been there when she had seen the other. She studied him, trying to recall his name. She knew from the loud one that he was a Tyrannosaur, but she could not pronounce that. She tried instead for the shorter version.
"REX," she held onto the word, almost rolling the "r" before the word came out in one short jump. Thinking a moment, she then pointed to herself, "Tam-ary."
Turning her head, she said with pleasure to King, "Zoo-leh-kuh." Silencer Wolf King beamed at Tamary, letting her stroke his nose as long as she liked, purring like a contented cat all the while.
"Tamary!" Rex half-shouted as something clicked in his head. "So it's you!" The boy exclaimed, grinning down at her. He remembered now, she was one of the first(and only) person King had accepted at first glance. Not even Mother had such an honor...
Looking Tamary up and down, the boy nodded. "You've grown bigger, Tam. Last time we met, you're still a baby," he said, reaching out a hand to pat her gently on the head, careful not to mess up her one feathers.
"Rex, that's me," Rex laughed, then pointed a thumb behind him at his twin. "That's King, if you don't remember."
As if on cue, King leaned in and pressed his muzzle against the toddler, nuzzling her affectionately before a slobbery tongue reached out and, like it or not, covered the crocodile mishap in a layer of wet, sticky t-rex saliva. pinkdog Tamary grinned, pleased that Rex remember her. She had to admit she had forgotten their names, but she had definately not forgotten them.
She ducked her head just a bit as the boy patted her head, though she didn't mind the gesture. "You're big," she replied in kind. They were much much bigger than she remember them. She didn't see anyone else about, and wondered if they had managed to slip away just as she had.
Surprised by King's sudden attack of nuzzles and sloppy kiss, Tamary giggled loudly, ending on short shrills. Rubbing her hands up on her face to wipe off the saliva, and to rub on King's head some more, she laughed,
"Zuleika miss King, too!" Silencer Wolf King pressed his nose into Tamary's hand as she rubbed him, and the low rumbling purr in his throat started again.
"Aren't I?" Rex grinned, waving the tip of his tail back and forth. "I'm the tallest mishap in the HQ," he announced rather proudly, then paused for a bit, stroking his chin. "Except for Jabir, he's very tall." He added, with an emphasis on the word 'very'.
The boy smiled at Tamary, then instictively looked around for her guardian. Only... there was no sign of him anywhere.
"Where's your Daddy, Tam?" Rex asked wonderingly. Then, lowering his voice to a secretive whisper, "What are you doing out here all alone?" pinkdog Tamary was watching King as she replied, "I escaped!" She half whispered, but was not entirely unable to hide her enthusiasm for the game.
Rubbing King's nose a bit more, she looked over at Rex. She knew, of course, that adults tended to worry about such things. The boy was aweful big. Did he count as an adult? She wondered if she should tell him the truth. "You escape too?"
"I came to see plants," she said, dropping her hand from King's nose. "You like plants?" Silencer Wolf Rex couldn't help but notice Zuleika's enthusiasm, so he joined in her game. "Ahh.." he said, lowering his voice.
"Yep. I escaped, from an evil..." Rex paused, trying to find someone to label as an evil... something. "Bird." Ahem, yes. "Called Andi." Oh boy.
Rex chuckled at the thought of Andi being evil, but dismissed it at Zuleika's next question. "Plants?" Rex echoed. He wasn't really a big fan of them, but Mother does, and so do King, for some odd reason.
"Sure, why not?" Rex said casually and nodded, then added as an afterthought, "It's related to my element." pinkdog Zuleika's eyes glistened brightly with excitement at the mention of Rex's captor. "An evil biiird she repeated. It might not have interested her so much if it had not been a bird. But an evil bird?! She had never seen an evil bird! Maybe she was an evil bird. "Washe like?"
She paused, hearing his last bit about the plants. "Wassan element?" The only elements she knew were of things like the rain and wind, basically the weather. She had never heard of it being refered to has something one could have. "Plant... element?" Silencer Wolf Rex laughed, and dropped his voice to a bare whisper. "Very nasty. Like a bad-tempered old maid." He had just made that up, of course, but the boy wasn't going to let the toddler know.
"Well, it's not exactly a plant element," Rex straightened up, shifting into a more comfortable position. "Element, in this case, is something related to magic." Rex explained simply, pausing for a little while and looking down at the crocodilian mishap before him. "When you're older, you'll get to know what element you're alligned with, so you can do stuff with them."
"For example, my elements are Earth, Time and Gravity. With Earth, I can do this," Rex waved his hand over the patch of grass beside Zuleika. Nothing seemed to happen at first. Slowly, each blade seemed to come to life. Each seemed like it was dancing oddly as some grew longer while the rest became shorter, and vice versa.
With an effort, King managed to turn his head slightly against Rex's, and peered at the grass critically. The reptile huffed, and attempted to crush the dancing green stuff flat with his tail. pinkdog Look from the grass to the boy, eyes widening as far at the little reptile could managed, Zuleika stared at Rex as though he were something akin to a god. She went to the patch of grass that waved and reached out cautiously. She brushed the blades, feeling them grow against her fingers.
A high pitch shrill of glee bound from the other, her feather cone rising to their utmost. She almost wiggled with exciment, it was so exciting! He could grow plants! Real plants! She wanted to pluck one of the blades and see if it would keep growing in her hand. She went on to converse with Rex in her tonal shrilling language, not realizing, in her excitement, that he would not understand a word. Can you grow anything?! Flowers? Plantss? ...FORRESTS! She paused for a moment, unable to think of anything bigger than a forest. Then another thought occured to her and she looked at Rex, gaping a bit in wonderful expectation, ...even in winter?
Hearing the sound of her own "voice", Zuleika realized Rex wouldn't be able to understand. She repeated the question, though almost in a whisper, "Even'n winter...?" Silencer Wolf Rex smiled, leaning back slightly as he watched Tamary's reaction to his little trick. The boy fought for control over his tail with King, and flick it out of the way, much to the tyrannosaur's dismay, at the dancing patch of grass.
Stop it, King. You might hurt Tamary.
King grumbled indignantly; he would do anything to protect the toddler, how could he even hurt her. But the dancing, jiggling blades of grass? The t-rex shivered, and attempted to wrestle for control over the tail once again.
"King!" Rex almost growled, and promptly curled his tail tightly around himself.
"Winter?" Rex echoed, looking down at the toddler, traces of excitement still on her face. "I'm not sure, never tried it really," Rex said apologetically. pinkdog Hearing the sound of King's name being called, Tamary looked up in surprise, half-worried she had missed something, "King?"
However, his name triggered another thought. She looked from the tyrannosaurus to the grass, then at Rex. She knew that Rex and King were not the same but they did sorta share the same body, right? Did that mean King could grow plants too? "King too?"
Zuleika looked from Rex to King. She wondered why he looked so frustrated. Did she do something? She thought back on what had happened since she gotten there, frowing slightly. She liked King! She did want him to be angry!
She couldn't really think of anything, though maybe she was doing something without knowing it. A thought struck her as the sound faded, remember that she had been speaking in her sounds a moment before she'd noticed he was upset. Did King understand her? He was very much like her, after all (she prided herself) and he didn't seem to speak in people speech either. She'd been talking about the plants right? She offering a question (low, quiet, and slightly sad, only subtly different from that which she used for deep affection) as a small test to see if he'd responde. King not like plants?
Zuleika was not disappointed by Rex's answer about the winter. Just because he hadn't done it didn't mean he couldn't! Calming, her feathers falling back slightly, though still extremely interested in this power of Rex's, Tamary plucked a peice of grass, staring at it curiously. Even if he couldn't grow them in winter - but she really hoped he could!- it was still beyond anything she ever could have hoped for. Silencer Wolf "Yes, but he's not allowed to do magic," Rex said, shaking his head slightly. Noticing a sudden change in King's behaviour just then, Rex straightened up, his eyes shooting to the side.
"Are you alright, King?" Rex asked, his voice tinged with worry.
Not very...
King shrilled unhappily, his eyes narrowing into slits at the tyrannosaur glanced at Tamary dejectedly. A low rumble escaped from the reptile as his head felt oddly light...
Shaking his get to rid himself off the light-headedness, King groaned and returned his gaze to Zuleika. Not as food, King quipped, not realising that he had actually communicated directly with the crocodilian toddler. Some are good to hide in though, he added, in a low rumble. pinkdog Tamary gave a low shrill of excitement and pleasure at hearing King respond in a similar sort of sound language to her own. She could understand him! Better yet, he could understand her! The little reptile beamed at both Rex and King, her admiration for them at that moment bordering on hero worship. Rex could grow plants and King could speak in shrill!
The discovery particularly pleased Zuleika because, since she could remember, she had never much liked speaking in anything else. It was necessary, obviously, to communicate with (most!) everyone, but she found it awkward. Usually she was more prone to keeping silent than to speaking at any length.
Her tailed rolled in the grass as her eyes looked to the bushes King referred to, even as she answered Rex's comment. "What he do, wonder..." She tried, without success, to think of something more spectacular than being able to grow plants.
After a moment of staring at the bushes however, it occured to her that it had been quite some time since she had "escaped" from Pink. She fought for a moment with herself, not wanting to leave the boys but thinking she aught to get back.
Finally, she turned and looked rather sheepishly up at Rex again. "I 'scaped. Should un'scape...?" Silencer Wolf "He can do what I do, though it's hard for him to control his-- our power if he uses them," Rex explained, not going further about how his brother trapped them in time for a whole week. He felt would be best not to indulge that little secret to others.
"Oh..." Rex looked about but saw no one else about. "Yes, I think you should. There's no one else about, so you should be able to sneak back in safely." Rex winked at Zuleika, and turned himself for King to face her fully. Say goodbye, King.
King would love for the crocodilian mishap to stay, but his stomach told him that they, too, would need to flee soon too. Therefore the reptile pressed his nose into the toddler's hands and huffed, before moving slightly away and gave the toddler's face another of his big, wet, sloppy licks.
Bye! The tyrannosaur chuffed, before a lightbulb flashed in his head. Go with you? Craning his head sideways, he pleaded to Rex, Please?
Rex chuckled and shook his head. No, I don't think that would be a good thing. Sensing the disappointment in his twin brother, the boy thought for a second. We can accompany Tam to her room though.
"Hey Tam, want us to accompany you to your room?" Rex said, smiling as King perked up. "We need to go back to ours too, I think someone's getting hungry," he added with a laugh. pinkdog Tamary was no more eager to leave the boys' side than King was. However, mention of food suddenly made the little Croc realize that she was hungry too. No...starving! She hadn't eaten since early that morning when she had first "snuck" out of the room.
With this new motivation, Zukeika was much more eager to get back. King's sloppy kiss tickled the toddlers noise. His plea to join her was met with eager nods and shrilled Yes! that left no doubt about her opinion.
Once Rex had agreed, Tam automatically stuck her hand out for the other to take. She was used to always walking hand-in-hand with Pink went they went about. Silencer Wolf Rex laughed and got to his feet. The boy then reached down and took Zuleika's outstretched hand in his, much to King's delight.
"Alright then, let's go.".

-- :: Visit to the Animal Tent :: -- Location: Circus - Animal Tent Participants: Rexier Gaver & King, Tamary Zuleika & pinkdog, Gryffenc---------- :: ~ :: ---------- ---------- :: ~ :: ---------- Silencer Wolf Rex burst out of the HQ towards the colorful tents that seemed to have mushroomed out of the grounds overnight, and it didn't take the 10 feet plus figure long to reach the yellow one with a green flag. What stirred him in its direction the boy had no idea - perhaps it was the color, or maybe it just looked pleasantly welcoming.
Whatever it was, Rex reached the tent in no time at all, and slipped in.
"Oooooh...."
"Trrrr?" A little shift in position. Ah. King peered at the crowd before him, but it was the animals that really caught his attention. I mean, look at the feast before him!
For a moment, King was one happy tyrannosaur.
Whatever's in there, they're not for your stomach, King.
Grand.
Rex laughed, consoling his twin mentally before scampering towards the larger animals, taking care not to disturb the crowd present. pinkdog When she had been told they were going to the Circus, Tamary had no idea what that meant. She thought perhaps it was some type of plant or garden, since that was the direction her mind usual went when imagining someplace pleasant. Thus, she was more than surprised when, after walking inside one of the huge tents, instead of plants, she found animals! Lots of animals. "Where's the flowers?" She murmured.
Pink chuckled, looking around in the tent. "No flowers here, luv. Let's go see the lions, hmm?" Pulling her along gently by the arm, Pink manuevered around the people to stand in front of the lion cage. His own senses were overwhelmed with the scent of so many animals, people, and non-people about. He was going to have a hard time keeping track of Tamary. "Stay close, okay?"
Tamary did not reply, her head still moving about as she tried to take in everything in the tent. It wasn't just the animals that held her attention, but the people! She had never seen so many people! And there were others her age there, she could see, though none of them really looked like her.
Finally dragging her gaze to the cage in front of her, Tamary stepped back, startled. "Big," She stated firmly, staring up at the big cat with amber eyes. Silencer Wolf Rexier Gaver marvelled at the variety of animals kept by the circus, noting appreciatively that all of them were well taken care of, seeing no signs of mistreatment or whatsoever. The boy crouched down in front of various cages to get a better look at the animals within, being careful not to get too close or stick any fingers in. It would not be a nice thing to go home with a missing finger or limb.
Soon, however, Rex found himself losing interest in the big cats and he started wondering, smiling down at some keepers and their non-carnivorous animal charges. The boy was just about to exit the tent, when King noticed something that had slipped through his notice.
"Rrawrh!!" pinkdog
Tamary did not particularly like the big cat. It looked very unhappy, sort of sad, staring back at her with blank eyes. It wasn't really scary at all, locked away behind those thick metal bars. It bothered the toddler, though she couldn't say precisely why.
Disturbed, and wanting to find creatures that looked more like herself -she could already hear the birds calling!- Tamary turned in another, random direction. Just as she did so, she heard the telltale call of the tyrannosaurus.
Containing a shrill so that Pink wouldn't notice her slip by him, Zuleika moved through the crowd toward the twins, the feathers on her head rising cheerfully.
Looking at King first, she gave a low shrill followed by a short higher one. "King food," she joked, looking down at the cages with some of the smaller, rodent sized animals. Easily digestable.
She turned her gaze on Rex, a slightly shyer look, "Hello, Rex."Silencer Wolf "Mm?" Rex stopped in his tracks, then smiled as a familiar little figure snakes her way through the crowd towards him. Or more precisely, King. The boy went down on a knee, so that their height difference need not be that much.
King replied with a low shrill of his own, nodding aprreciatively at Zuleika. He had thought of having them as a meal, but was sadly told they were not for his own consumption. The tyrannosaur looked at the rodents longingly for a short while, before reaching down(with the aid of his brother) for a lick at the crocodile mishap as a greeting.
"'Ey Tam." Rex smiled at her, then straightened up and offered a hand to her. "Wanna see the animals together?" pinkdog Tamary smiled, closing the eye of the side of her face was was being licked, and patted King's head as she did so.
As Rex stood up, Tamary had to look up quiet a bit to see him properly. She smilled, giving a quiet shrill of pleasure as she readily took the boys hand. "Yess, see 'nmals with Rex and King." At the prospect of looking around the tent some more, she remembered what she had been about to do before hearing King call her.
She looked up at Rex eagerly, "Any birdz'er'?" She sent a meaningful smile at King, "Or 'rillians?" Silencer Wolf "Well, if you really want to know..." Rex trailed off. The boy bent down and wrapped an arm around the toddler, with the slipped the other under her to support her, knowing well enough that no one, not even pet dragons and bone-creatures liked being picked up without an arm underneath them for support.
Once Rex had Tamary firmly in his arms, the boy whispered a "Hang on", then straightened up, effectively towering over eveyone else in the tent. He hoped she wasn't afraid of heights...
"See any, Tam?" the boy asked, waving his tail back and forth behind him. pinkdog Tamary didn't mind being picked up all, since Pink did so all the time. She was used to being high up in the air with Pink since he was 6 feet tall, but she was still surprised to see how much higher they were above everyone else. "Rex is biig," she murmured softly, looking around.
She did has she was told, holding on around his neck. This effectively put her in the position of looking over Rex's shoulder and right at King's face. She liked how she could see evenly right into his big yellow eye. She giggled quietly with a low shrill, "Now I'm big as King."
Rex caught her attention again as he spoke, and she remembered why she was being held up in the first place. Looking around, she searched for signs of birds or "'rillians'". She spotted a cage of Macaws on the other side of the tent. They were huge! "Birds there!" She pointed. Silencer Wolf Rex merely smiled at Tamary's comment on his height, and followed her gaze, scanning the tent for signs of birds and 'rilians'. While he did so, King rumbled joyfully as the feathered crocodilian child just popped into view suddenly. The tyrannosaur let out a soft 'churr' and rubbed his cheek against the toddler affectionately, before his gaze slid off to the crowd and animals before him. Hmm, if only he were allowed free reign for just a while...
Soon, King was lost in his own thoughts of food, food and more glorious food - the only other thing he liked as much as Zuleika right now. Or even more.
"Birds? Where?" Rex looked around, and shifted his gaze in the direction Zuleika was pointing at. "Ah. Well then, let's go!" Rex shifted tamary in his arms a little, then made a beeline through the crowd to the other side of the crowded tent. "Excuse me.."
"Oh, hi Ike!"
"Sorry!"
"Hey Osso!" Wave.
Once they were through, Rex paused to take a breath. The boy then lowered himself onto a knee, so that both could have a better look at the colorful avians. "Mmm, beautiful birds, aren't they?" pinkdog As Rex carried her through the crowd above everyone else, Tamary felt a bit more like the bird she partly was. Would she ever be so big?
Turning around in Rex's arms, Tamary studied the birds in the cage, her curiosity apparent by the half-raised feathery cone, wavering between rising and falling as she decided if she like them. "I like ze-" the last word came out as a mix between a word and shrill word "colorness." They were indeed, quiet brightly colored, a few a them shaded in warm red colors, the rest in blue and greens.
"So loud, tho. No one to talk to?" She turned the question to Rex, her right pinky finger making it's way into her mouth to chew on; she'd left her toys in the room.
Silencer Wolf A striped hand reached out just as the pinky made its way into Tam's mouth, prying the latter gently away from the razor filled crocodilian muzzle.
"They do have themselves, but I don't think they have much to talk about between them," Rex said, waving a finger at a pair of scarlet macaws, laughing as two birds bobbed and moved their heads to the movement of his finger.
Tired of playing follow-the-finger, one of the macaws squawked and stretched out its wings, flapping them twice before side-stepping down its perch to get a better looked at the two strange creatures, wings held wide open for balance. pinkdog The sight of the birds was very exciting to the little Mishap, who had decided she liked the birds. She gave them a sort of half-uncertain smile, raising her arms out in imitation of their wings. "Biiiird," she shrilled.
The birds, alternately extending their wings as they wabbled about on the branches, stared back at the bird. The green creature thing made a high pitch sound that was midly familar and yet completely unidentifiable.
From behind them, a figure was moving through the crowd, slowly at first, and then with an increase in pace as they found what they were looking for. "Tam!"
Pink called from a few yards away yet, his large size making him quite an obstacle to maneuver in the busy, bustling tent. Finally he made it to their size, looking at the two Mishaps and then at the birds as he took a breath. "Looking all over for you Tam, how'd you manage to get away?"
With the last few words, Pink's overprotective gaze rose to look at the tall Mishap next to him. He did look familiar and yet, Pink could not remember ever meeting such an old boy, at least by his height, among the Mishap crew he had bumped into. He saw immediately why Tamary had been drawn to him, keen as she was for anything that resembled her strange mix of species.
Tamary's liking for Rex, however, did not spare him from the momentary glance from Pink, who, at around 6 foot, would not have proven an undaunting father figure. Of course, Rex was only a kid and soon Pink stooped down on his haunches to have a look at Tam.
"Like the birds? They have pretty feathers like your own, eh?" Scooping her up off the ground, Pink settled her off on his hip, looking at Rex again. "Thanks for keeping an eye in here She'd no doubt crawl between the bar of the cages to get a closer look if she could."
Zuleika looked between Pink and Rex, but her gaze soon returned to the birds, shrilling to them to see if she could get them to reply.

It was a fine and lovely day as the sunlight shone brightly on the corridors of the Magical Mishaps Headquarters and the chirpping of the birds can be heard from the corridors as the surrounding was quiet that time. Suddenly, the door of a room opened and out came Kunjiro, smiling as he placed a green colored card which was to be sent to his friend into his pocket. The boy then closed the door behind him and started walking along the quiet corridor.
It took the boy sometime to reach the destination. Upon reaching, Kunjiro looked up slightly to make sure that he arrived at the right place. After doing so, the boy placed his hand into the pocket and took the card out. Kunjiro read the contents for the last time before sliding it into the small gap located below the door. The boy then bent down and slid the card into the room and went back to his room.
The card wrote:
Heya Rex and King! How are both of you and your family? I'm doing great here and I'm sending you this to inform you that the Science class I mentioned the other day will begin soon. Hope to see you in my room and my mother was happy when I told her that you would me for the class. The class will begin at 10.00 a.m. and ends at 11.30 a.m. but you have to reach my room before 9.55 a.m and you will need to bring some writing materials (Forgot to get you some when I was buying them, sorry!). I have papers so you don't need to bring them. That's all for now, hope to see you soon. -Kunjiro
