Kyrin was in the middle of a shot when Nori had come up to her. She missed her shot, being thrown off by the increasing number of people she knew surrounding the table. It was one thing to have a group of spectators, it was another to have Jaydn and then Nori hanging around. Kyrin let out a sigh when Nori had wanted her to go with him. She handed her stick to one of the men who had been playing at the table earlier, asking him to hang onto it for her and excused herself quickly from Miles. She told him she would be right back.
Stepping outside, Kyrin felt the cool air brush against her arms. It was nice, not hot by any means, but nothing near as cold as it would be in the coming winter. Kyrin noticed the drink in Nori’s hand with a smile, So he’s drinking again, She thought fondly. Folding her arms over her chest, Kyrin glanced around their surroundings for a little while before looking back at Nori questioningly. Her tone was good natured, but it was still clear that she wanted to get back to what she was doing, ”So why are we out here?”

Now that he had Ky to himself, he didn't want to have to say what was on his mind. His feet suddently felt a lot colder now that they were outside. He knew coming to this bar with Ky was a terrible idea, but how could she intend on drinking after what they had already discussed? Denial didn't begin to cover it-this was just carelessness! Alright maybe it was a false alarm, but if it wasn't, wouldn't he feel that much better that he tried to do all that he could? Staring at his hands, he spoke up. "Ky, you know you shouldn't be drinking...I mean, because of..." He stole a glance at her stomach and then looked away.

It took Kyrin a moment to realize what it was exactly that Nori was talking about. Since she had gotten to the bar and had begun her game with Miles she had managed to push the whole idea of being pregnant to the back of her mind. All the fears she had felt because of what happened to her mother, and all the doubts she had about whether is was Craig‘s kid came rushing back at that moment. She stood still for just an instant, before her features lost whatever fondness that they had just had. The first thing she thought, before even thinking about the fact that drinking would hurt her potential baby was the fact that Nori had the audacity to come and tell her not to drink while he, himself, held a drink in his hand. To Ky it was like he was trying to mock her or taunt her.
Her eyes narrowed at him for a moment before she reached out and grabbed the drink from Nori’s hand. Kyrin looked at the bright red liquid in the glass before throwing it to the ground in an almost spiteful manner. The glass shattered on the ground, spilling the liquid on the side walk. A few people entering the bar looked their way but decided not to intervene in something that wasn’t their business. ”Why the hell do you care?” She retorted as she took a step away from Nori. It wasn’t like her to back away from someone, but there was still a small piece of her mind that was thankful for Nori’s watchfulness, and that made it so she couldn’t hit him. ”You’re just a stupid cross dresser anyway!” Kyrin’s words rang through the night as she turned on heel, tears stinging her eyes.
Kyrin walked with great purpose to one of the cars that had been waiting for the group to want to go back to the mansion and threw open the door. ”Go home. She demanded in a sharp tone as she settled herself into the vehicle.

Nori watched in anguish as Kyrin abandoned him to the front of the bar with her words still echoing around him. The car's back lights vanished around a corner, and it was no doubt that Kyrin was heading back to the mansion. He did not regret his interferance, but he wasn't expecting insults and outbursts. The people loitering outside in the cold glanced half-interested from the skinny boy, to the broken glass and merry red drink that now splashed the sidewalk beside him. Putting feelings aside, Nori started half-jogging back towards the mansion. The plan of mingling at the bar was now forgotten, as the pre-autumn air chilled through his hair as his legs sprinted. Nori wasn't sure what he was going to do, but he couldn't stay behind.

Miles idley smoked his cigarette waiting for Kyrin's return. He was utterly bored now, and it didn't seem like she'd return, which was bad form, since she said that she would. Typical. he thought, for someone her age. He didn't like waiting around for anything or anyone, especially if it wasn't advancing his career in some way. A few eager-faced men asked him if he was using the table. "Help yourself." he said with a grin, although his level of enthusiasm was back at ground zero.
He pushed his way through the throng of people back towards the table, flirting with a waitress along the way into getting him a Manhattan Dry when she could. He flung his jacket over the back of the chair before taking a seat, studying the activity before him.
The brothers Matsui seemed to be bickering like usual, along with Xavier's usual accomplice: Levi. The group of them were still young and he could expect trouble, but despite the immaturity of their mischeif, and Miles' open dissaproval, he still had to admit to himself that it kept the place interesting (as long as it didn't disturb his work in some way). Charles, who Miles found to be quite sensible, was also seated. He found that Charles was one of the few whom he could talk to about stocks, and Miles actually valued his opinion on what to buy into. He glanced to Karma, who was occupying his time by teasing the nearby girls, before decidedly cleaning his glasses. Miles shared his sense of cleaniless, but not in such an extreme way. Regardless, Karma was a useful cog in the gang's well oiled machine, so his mysterious origins didn't bother Miles too much. Besides, his competetiveness and loud opinions more than made up for it, since they were necissary traits in this line of work.
But Kyrin's crew seemed rather small tonight. Both looked rather cheerless, but Miles was interested in what they had to say for themselves, and what they did to contribute to their mafia. In other words, he wanted to know if they were contacts worth having.

Jamie looked up to watch the short interaction between Kyrin and Nori, and the emotion of the scene only served to further his doubts of what exactly it was he felt for the mafia's so called 'leader'. Disappointment was ever so easy to mistake for affection sometimes. You saw someone it had been so long since you had cared for and all you could do was remember the person you had known until you saw what they had become. Jamie sighed and gulped the rest of the potent drink down his throat. It burned, so nicely. He stood, and pushed his way through the throng of people to the bar, to order another. He was looking fo Ian. The man could make his inebriated feelings so strong. Jamie wanted to be so drunk he was numb. What he couldn't decide was whether or not that was healthy.

Levi was completely oblivious to the human drama of Kyrin's group. He had excused himself from the table to refill his beer and found a pretty little redheaded punk girl, to share shots with over a discussion of the Flogging Molly show they had discovered to have both attended late last year. And to him, this was far more important than anything either group was doing. Girls, to Levi's mind, were more important than a lot of things. And wasn't tonight supposed to be casual? How much trouble could he, Levi asked to himself, really get in for innocent flirting? He glanced shortly back at the table, and finding nothing going on he wanted to be involved with, got back to his flirting.

Ian quietly drank his drink at the bar completely oblivious to the fact that Kyin and Nori had left the establishment completely. He looked at the red liquid in his drink and noticed through the reflection of the glass, Jamie's arrival at the bar. Ian looked up and tried to smile at Jamie. It looked like he and Jamie pretty much shared the same mood. He vaguely wondered if Jamie was still upset over their encounter earlier. I don't understand why he's so upset...It was his fault. Ian decided that it didn't matter. They were supposed to have fun. That was partially what this event was for, right? Ian brushed all his feelings aside and tried to make some kind stab at a conversation. "Jamie...You shouldn't be drinking that much you know. I know how you get when you drink..."

"You usually like it when I'm drunk." Jamie quipped. He knew full well how he got. He also knew he wanted to be so trashed he didn't. He drank again, holding up the glass in a mock, resentful toast "to lost love." Or to the love I never knew I didn't have. Or the condotional kind. Or to the man who doesn't know how. Take your pick, they're all for you.

Karma, after going through about half of the girls in the bar, was finally satisfied with his flirting expedition. His phone now had a good ten more numbers in it and a on Monday, he had a nice date set up to boot. Karma looked around the bar finding it that Kyrin and the...cute girl(?) that had come with her had gone of somewhere. Karma just shrugged it off though. It really wasn't any of his business anyways. Just less awkward conversations and introductions to do. Heading over to the table where two other of his fellow mafia members were sitting at, Karma decided that it'd be more fun talking to them than to Kyrin's mafia members. Karma grabbed a chair next to Miles and nodded a hello to both him and Charles. "Where did Miss Kyrin go to?" Karma asked no one in particular. He honestly didn't really care where she'd run off to but it was a good way to start up a conversation.

Ian wanted to roll his eyes at Jamie's reply. He didn't understand why Jamie was being so immature lately but it was really getting annoying. Real mature James. I'm trying to be nice and this is all you can say to me? Ian smiled sarcastically and raised his glass to Jamie's, "to love that should have never been lost."

After Kryin's challenge to shots, Jaydn walked over to the bar with a slight bounce in his step and a smug grin on his face. The mood of the bar, the lights, and the promise of unlimited alcohol combined was beginning to greatly improve Jaydn's mood. Once he was sure that the barman understood that a competition was underway, Jaydn turned to return to the pool table, confident that he would be able to outdrink his cousin without a problem. Flirting momentarily with a girl who looked better from far away than when he actually was face to face with her, Jaydn went through the throng of people around the pool table to find that neither Kyrin nor Miles were still playing. The hell? Where'd they go? A bit of looking around in the dim lighting revealed Miles back at the table but Kyrin nowhere in sight.
Assuming that Kyrin must have excuse herself to perhaps go to the restroom, Jaydn made his way to the self-assured man. Jaydn was aware of how very similiar he and Miles were in the way they held himself and, quite honestly, the Coyotes' leader wasn't sure if he liked how alike they were. But they got along well and Miles rarely questioned Jaydn's authority so Jaydn wasn't too concerned with whether or not he liked or disliked their similiarities.
Seating himself in an empty chair beside Miles and leaning back in it, Jaydn turn his grey eyes to Miles, asking casually, "Will you be joining the game, Miles? I can't say that Kyrin will be much of a challenge and I really want to have to work to win this time." Contrary to the impression Jaydn was giving, Kyrin wasn't a light-weight when it came to drinking. She was simply less experienced than Jaydn. Letting his eyes wander around him, Jaydn took in the activities of the other mafia members. It didn't seem like his plan to have the mafias interact with one another was working out too well on its own but Jaydn had no intention of babysitting the idea. It's gonna happen or it isn't. They have to talk to each other eventually anyway so it doesn't matter when it happens. He fiddled with a paper wrapping of a straw before crumpling it into a ball and flick it at the back of Maddox's head. The now lighthearted 24 year old gave a short laugh when his younger brother turned around with a surprised expression and then a frown.
When Karma came to sit next to Miles, Jaydn gave the man a nod, "Probably off somewhere psyching herself up. We're doing shots. Care to join us, Karma, Charles?" It was regular for the top men of the Coyotes to join Jaydn in his drinking escapades. It was a quick way to free drinks and a way for Jaydn to let his men know that he trusted his men enough to become completely smashed in their presence.

Jamie drank again and set the near empty glass on the table. "Do you honestly believe that?" His voice was low and uncertain. "That we shouldn't have ended up like this?" He didn't want to think that Ian knew what Jamie had wanted this whole time. Or that Ian could possibly want the same thing. They were both drinking, that made them needy. It was as simple as that. Jamie drank the last of the green liquid pooled at the bottom of his glass, and ordered another. He was paying for these all himself anyways. So he turned to Ian, looking the man over with bright blue eyes, "Can I get you another drink?"

Miles turned his head immediatly after being addressed. Joining the game? For a minute he considered it. But looking around again, it wouldn't be such a great idea. Miles didn't particulary know how he behaved when drunk (he never remembered), but he had heard stories, so a bar swimming with attractive women who were also intoxicated would make for a disaster in the morning.
He leaned back in his chair. "Sorry, I'll pass." he sighed, breathing out smoke. Drinking for the sake of getting drunk wasn't really his style anyways. However, he had every intention of having a few more Manhattan Drys while he observed the spectacle. " By the way, your cousin left out through the front with that kid who follows her around. I wouldn't count on her coming back." He commented casually. He flicked ash into the glass ashtray and frowned. This cigarette was almost done, yet his mouth still begged for another. He extinguished it and swallowed the rest of his first drink.

Ian stared at Jamie in shock. What in the world was Jamie getting at now? Taking one more sip from his glass, he quietly replied, "Of course I don't think we should have ended up like this. Do you really think that this kind of broken relationship is fun? If anything, we could be at least friends and on speaking terms with each other. I still care alot about you Jamie." Ian put down his now empty glass on the bar. "Please? Another drink would be nice..."
