My plans are to raise my damage per one round, but not raising my magic until I complete phase one. I think I have a good idea of how to deal 36 damage with only 2 mp spent per turn without raising my magic stat, but I need a total of 10 CP to do it.
After that I might either raise my magic stat or make my 6 CP summon I have planned out. It has a good attack and only one spell which will deal 3 damage. With my 36 damage from completing phase one of my idea plus getting my summon, I should be able to deal about 39 magic damage per turn plus combat damage from my summon.

What I'm trying to figure out whether i want to get the fighter-mage ability or not. whether its worth sacrificing another 20HP to be able to cast both a spell and a action in the same round.

well look at all the 1 AP Moves that exist. Is it worth 20 HP to be able to do one of those every round?
Smash, taunt, stunning blow, shield bash... Stunning blow would probably be the one you would use alot.

yeah and there's pounce and power up I'd be able to use every other round. Theres a lot to be considered. However, I know I need another point in skilled caster so thats where the next 4 points will be going regardless

Bellamin woke from his stupor. "Well, you've already opened up your tourney thread so I don't see this ever going in but... I thought it would be great if you turned the tournament into a 3 part chaotic magic battle. it would consist of three parts.
The first part is a simple, give it your all one round. Everyone would cast spells on a high hitpoint target of their own. Whoever downs their target first, second, and third get a point. ((Note: It sounds stupid, but it'll help with the tweeking of the second challenge.))
The second part is based on teamwork ((And if they can keep the team)).
They will face three, high hitpoint enemies. ((No attack)) When one is downed, a magic marker will randomly place itself onto a mage. When all three of the high hit-point enemies are defeated, ten rounds will commence. In these ten rounds, the contestants can attack eachother with all they got. When you have a marker and get defeated, (blown to bits) the mark will randomly transport to another contestant, except people with markers in that round, and you. At the start of each round of combat, defeated players will be revived. At the end of the ten rounds, whoever has a mark, gets two points.
The third is the tourney, and the contestants are pitted in 1vs1 as usual."

(Well, unless your like me, and have points in attack of defense, stunning blow would be the only one in use... And btw, anyone know where, or how, I could get that AP fighter's potion Firu has?)

((I know...Just found out about which quest >.< ... I'm hoping that I can aquire one... Although it might be hard due to Fargore saying it's a prize for event they held, and that it's from that even only [write now]. Ironically, after the my first dungeon, they held the event, right when I had to go on a week long hiatus... They took participants until around the end of the week. Ahwell, atleast we wrapped up the goblin cave before my leave.))
[Dwaallicht is a describer for how I use my spells. Everything to do with will-o'-the-wisps and colorfully ethreal fire. Must be due to my character spending some time out in the swamps every now and then. Or atleast when I'm away]

(Holy crap! I just did 42 magic damage in a single turn! Though I used a total of 4 MP... still I think thats the most I've ever seen in the guild! Thats still 10.5 damage/mp spent. Not to shaby if I do say so myself!)
(That was 2 mp for speedy magic, and 1 mp/fireball, since my 2 practiced spell casters reduced them! Huzzah for magical death!)

"Well, I would like to be known as a purple mage, but I must say there aren't many spells to beef up my minions. There are a couple of spells, items, or actions that would allow me to bring other creatures to the battlefield, but not many to help them out any, other than healing. My first plan of action is to get an apprentice's staff, like yours Gerbo, that will help a bunch. Then I definately need more spells, but like I said there aren't many support spells our there."

You know I actually have 2 of those staves... I could sell one for 1 ticket and 200 chips, rather than the 1 ticket and 400 that the ticket shop is selling.
