Hello, I'm new to the guild, but I don't really have any roleplay experience. Is there a place in the guild where I can learn to roleplay, or would I just be a bother?

Hey there, I'm rather new to the guild and I'm wondering, I have a roleplay that I've been working on for some time, but it's in barton town, not here. Am I allowed to advertise for that, or should I move it here?

Go to the Questions, Answers, and Tutors subforum to ask questions about RPing and read advice. Go to the Character Development subforum to post your character profiles. Sombra-Kitsune Hello, I'm new to the guild, but I don't really have any roleplay experience. Is there a place in the guild where I can learn to roleplay, or would I just be a bother? Besides what I just said above, you could also check out the Level 2 subforum. Depending on your skill in writing, you might be able to jump into an intermediate or even an advanced RP. RPing is about writing and getting along with people, so experience, while certainly helpful, does not always determine where you start. Freiherr-Von-Richthofen Hey there, I'm rather new to the guild and I'm wondering, I have a roleplay that I've been working on for some time, but it's in barton town, not here. Am I allowed to advertise for that, or should I move it here? You can advertise that here, yes.

Yepyep, I've been dragged in.
I can't resist roleplaying with people, it's one of the more fun things I get to do in life. I love writing stories, and it's even better when you have people to write them with. ; D
So um. Yeah. Everyone can call me Twilight.
Now, my only question--do you have to get a character profile set up before you jump into an RP, or can it wait until after? Or does it have to happen at all?
I'm never any good keeping up with updating character profiles. I make them just fine, but if something changes I usually forget to edit. I also tend to leave things out, just because their personalities come through more clearly in actual storylines than a basic once-over.
So... do I have to have something written out about my character, or can I just jump right in? sorry for the ramble.

Hi everyone my RPC's name is usually Darth...Darth Cray. I got that name from Star Wars and also the Alex Rider series written by Anthony Horowitz a magnificant writter by the way. I love to Rp which is the reason that I joined this place. I was introduced by my friend Jayson_2007.

sorry for the ramble. That's up to the RP that you join. Most GMs require a profile so that they can get a sense of your RP level and/or if you've read and understood their setup. I have the same problems with my character profiles that you do. lol I also love to write stories. You'll fit in well here! Welcome!
