"Idiot" Jayce snarled into the grass. Calypso's and the Coffee's forms vanishing into the Swamp.
It did not take long before Jedrek had reached him. And with out a word, Dug his claws deep into the side of the tree, and peeled it off of Jayce.
He blinked down at his nephew, expecting him to get up, only to find that young Jayce seemed to be unconscious. Waiting a moment longer for some kind of movement… any kind. He found his attention turned towards the Swamp.
Slurping the blood back into his mouth, he lowered himself to the ground, crossing his claws, and waited
“I don’t blame you” he said, his voice hard, but not longer angry,
“I would be upset as well… but in time you’ll understand what I’ve done for you.”
He paused once they were deep enough in the Swamp. And let her arm go, turning towards her and sitting down.
“but I fear it will take longer… then I would like” he turned his chin up slightly, “make yourself comfortable” he gestured to some soft brown moss under a mocha tree.

When he let go of her she instantly took a couple of steps back. "I don't want to get more comfortable... I want to go home. Right now. You know I hate this swamp.. there's no way I'm going to stay here for very long." She huffed, head low, tail almost sticking strait up in annoyance. Ears twitched as she watched him, wondering if he would grab her again. If so.. She glanced around, considering if she'd be able to outrun him.

he knew very well he could not keep her here, he never intended to keep her against her will, this always happened when he acted before thinking... he had to think of something.
"and I can't fathom why" he lowered himself to the ground, "the Swamp is a mysterious elegant place"
it was nearly pitch black in the Swamp. the night hiding most of his form.
he turned his eyes down, looking thoughtfully at the soggy ground.
"I do not wish to keep you here" he admitted to her "but I can not... allow that ... Think, to soil you're beauty with its presence"

"Elegant..? It's hideous." She didn't move away anymore, since he didn't seem to be chasing her... She turned away from him to look around at the dark swamp.. She frowned. A shiver went up her spine as she remembered a tale form her childhood... She gulped heavily and glanced back at him. There's no way she'd find her way home by herself. Well.. she probably could, but at night.. in this place.. she was scared.
"Why do you hate him so much...? Am I not allowed to care about people? And he's not just a monster.. I admit he's hideous and disgusting.. But his uniqueness makes him worth while. There is no one else like him."

he let that comment about the Swamp slide, she was after all from that Candy land... and obviously the creatures from that land where... confused... about allot of things.
his eyes narrowed as he looked back at her
"its that... that fondness you have for him. that is why i hate him." he snarled "perhaps you care to much, to care about something like that."

She stared at him a moment, then blinked.. then grinned. Aha. "I see.." She purred, her voice suddenly smoother. She stood strait, then sat. "So it's just jealousy that's fueling you? It wouldn't matter if it was any male... What, do you think that I will swear my love to you for ever and ever?" She laughed softly. "I'd never swear myself completely to anyone. Ever... So you're barking up the wrong tree. Unless you want to follow me around the rest of my life... You should probably just give it up. I'm not going to change.." She glanced up at him, standing to step a couple of steps closer to him.
"You're a darling, Equis... And very handsome." She reached a paw up to wipe some of the blood from his chin. "But I don't think any man is good enough to hold my attention for forever. You, OR Jedrek. Though.. he defenitly has more points than you right now.."

his eyes narrowed and he pushed himself up, staring down at her with a hard expression.
"your damn right its Jealousy, and you could not have picked a more dangerous Numa to become Jealous over you."
he snorted. letting her wipe some blood from him. reaching up and taking her hand into his claw.
"I'm going to over look that fact that you might have been toying with me... but I warn you now. I'm not the Numa to be messed with, especially my feelings." his face soften and he lowers himself back down. holding her paw up gently.
"I do care for you, I do not was to see you hurt."

She frowned slightly as he gripped her paw. She was silent a moment, pondering if that could be considered as a threat.
"Well.. If you haven't noticed yet, Equis... I'm not really that nice of a person. You amused me. I didn't think you'd fall for me so quickly..." When his expression softened, she continued to let him hold her paw, looking him up and down for a moment.. then sighed. "How could I possibly be hurt?"

"The usual... Claws in the back, tale to the head. All of which I can guarantee is very painful." he raised a brow, voice trailing off. “Some people don’t take rejection very well”
He paused for a long time watching her carefully for her response. Wondering how she would take that.

She quickly pulled her paw back, eyes widdening slightly. She frowned, the skin on the top of her muzzle wrinkling slightly. "Are you saying.. that'll you'll hurt me if I reject you? If I'm with anyone else?"

"ohh. no no no!" he had not intended for her to take it THAT way... but he guessed the way he worded it, as he went over it in his head once again, it would seem that way.
letting her pull her paw away he stood back up quickly
"I would never bream of causing you harm, others might. but never me."
he took a small step back,
"but I can not say I won't hurt others."

She looked relieved, the tension easing slightly in her. She frowned up at him. "I don't want you to hurt Jedrek. You realize that right? If I went to him now, and you killed him, I would never ever recognize you. Ever. So if you really want me.. You're going to have to prove you're worth while." Her eyes fell half lidded, her long fluffy tail wrapping around her cold legs. It was getting dark after all...
"I don't think I'd ever give myself completely to anyone.. And if i did, it would have to be for someone truly special.. if you think you're good enough, you'll just have to win me over." She shrugged, as if it were really that easy.. Yea right. "But violence will get you no where in my eyes."

win her over? how was he supposed to do that? usually he just beat someone up and got what he wanted... what elce was she expecting of him? he was strong... good looking... and he treated her well.... kinda. what elce did he need to do to prove it. and even then, she could just simply get bored of him?
he didn't like it one bit. but she was just to amazing to let her go.
"very well" he said after a long moment of silence
"where would you like me to start?"

She tilted her head and thought for a few moments. "Hmm? Well.. I dont know.." She flicked her tail in his direction. "It wouldn't work if I told you what to do... It wouldn't be special. You have to do something unexpected. Something to make me remember you... To want you." She grinned up at him. "You can't rely on looks alone.. Though you are very handsome..." She purred, stepping closer to him. "Your additude is slightly... annoying sometimes, though."

he snorted "my attitude? its almost non existent." he smirked.
"was smashing that dead things Hip not memorable enough for you?" he chuckled darkly. and stride forward a bit looking down at her
"alright... I'll keep trying, and stick as close to your terms as I can."
his brow furrowed"but I don't know what I'll do if I see that other Coffee again."
