Pyre woke up as he felt a drop of rain fall on his nose. "Dang it, not a storm." He said, grumpily getting off of Yuna. "C'mon, I know a place where we'll be safe from the rain."

Katachii Rae chuckled. "My nightmares consist of noise. To be here, among all of this...discordance, reminds me greatly of the time spent with my family, if you wish to call them that. Gods willing, their souls are being tortured as we speak," she said bitterly. "It is that very sameness that you despise that keeps me sane. Where others see boredom I suppose, I see a world where I am not afraid that something will change. Like my family did."
Rina wondered what terrible things Rae's family had done, to make the other modifox wish so much pain upon their souls. Rina could not imagine her own family doing any such terrible things, yet she knew that there were terrible people out there, and those terrible people could not be without family of their own. Rina felt pity for Rae, for whatever the other had gone through that was so horrible.

"Oh, this is nice, the exact opposite of what I would have wanted." She muttered with a slight smile, shaking herself off quickly and standing back up, stretching a little before nodding to Pyre.

"C'mon, it's a cozy litte cave I found earlier. We should be able to fit in it." Pyre said, leading Yuna into the cave that he had already built a fire in.

"Oh.... This is nice, Pyre." She said with a smile as she followed him into the cave, giving herself a quick shake outside before laying down near the fire.

"Yeah, I smelled a storm when we got here and I built a fire in here." He said, shaking himself of a bit. "And there's already fish in here if we get hungry."

"Really? Good job then!" Yuna said, licking down part of his fur that had stuck up. "Some fish sounds good for later."

"Okay, just don't make me go out for herbs and spices." Pyre said, returning the licking favor. He laid his head on her back and sighed contentley. "Knowing Temp, he's probably going to surf those storm waves."

"This is one of those rare moments where I'm gonna disagree with you hun." Pyre said, wrapping his tail around her. She looked so cute all curled up in a ball. "when it comes to stuff like that, he knows how to avoid getting hurt." He said smiling, he was proud of his brother for being brave enough to do stupid stuff like that. "Did I ever tell you that when you curl up like that you look super cute?"

"Really? The Tempest we all know and love would avoid harming himself?... Woah!" Yuna answered with a laugh, amazed that their Tempest wouldn't go on and hurt himself with all his adrenaline stunts, then smiled with a wag of her tail. "Am I now?"

"He's not as stupid as you think really." Pyre said nodding, then licking the top of her head. "Yes, you are. Hopefully, our kits will be as cute as you." He said with a small chuckle. Their kits would be very strange looking. Black, red, silver, and greenish aurora. Imageine that all on one fox.

Yuna grinned. "They'd better look cute, especially with your looks in the deal!" She laughed, giving him a lick on the cheek. "I'm only kidding you, they'll all be as cute as you."

"They'll be doubly cute!" Pyre said, licking her muzzle. "I just hope there will be at least one that inherits my good looks, charm, and pyromania! Hopefully a girl though."

"Doubly cute? Is there such a thing?... I hope so!" She gave a wag of her tail, giving him pecks on the cheeks like a puppy would give it's owner licks, hugging him.
